My awning has never retracted with the motor since new. Any thoughts on what is causing this? Once I manually retract about halfway the motor will start working.
How do you manually retract the tooly crown awning when it doesn't want to work with the power motor? I'm looking at mine and I don't see anything that's obvious to manually retract it. There is this round disc with a depression in the center of it that exposed when it's closed but it's not a button so unless it's a cap with something behind it we should actually might be I'll get back to you but send me an answer.
When facing the awning, look at the bottom of the left side end cap for a small round cap that can be removed, allowing for the awning tool that should have come with the awning to be inserted and turned, and it should allow you to manually crank the awning in. Where can you purchase the vertical support arms? I have searched the internet and have only found them in Austrailia and UK.
