      Of course it’s the worker’s responsibility. If the business has protocols to identify counterfeit bills and he ignores or doesnt use them.
      If the business/owner is reliable, then a culprit can just come in and spend $100,000 in fake cash and just leave. And halfies with the worker. Lmao. Doesnt sound right does it

      Almost every attorney general in the country says this practice is illegal as do the depts of labor
      You cant make up store policies that benefit you the owner from taking losses at the expense and personal loss of the employee

      @Snarick Klash He realized it was fake after he accepted it. He's not perfect and he did go after George Floyd once he realized it. Fake bills are difficult to detect and it shouldn't come out of your paycheck. Contacting the FBI is what should of happened.

      GF's accomplish tried to pawn off fake bill earlier, got refused. The pair returns, later that day, but GF attempts to pawn off fake bill, as the cashier realizes same two , same fake bill(s) caused him alarm to call cops, it was reoccuring and he was instructed to do so.

    The cashier kid seems to be a responsible thoughtful guy who was trying to do his job. If I owned a business I'd hire him in a heartbeat. He shouldnt blame himself for anything.

      The manager sounds like a pos who needs to be investigated for violating labor laws. Why didn’t the manger go talk to Floyd? I wish Floyd had gone back in and just given them a different 20 or given the change back and asked friends for some cash for cigs.

      I’m a former law enforcement
      And we were taught never to use excessive/deadly force when a suspect is in cuffs. Any force beyond a suspect in cuff... is considered non-justified

I’m sure you have only watch the video recorded by the people but not the body camera of the officers . He was already high and was having problems breathing and when he was handcuffed and about to put in the police car he started resisting which let to what happened. 2 months before the incident he’s girlfriend had to take him to the hospital bc he overdosed. She also testified that they both had problems with drugs and that multiple time they end up at the hospital.

    Chauvin was unprofessional and caused undue harm to someone who is "clearly high on something" and yelling "I can't breathe". Floyd may have well been a criminal or a bad guy or reacted poorly to the situation. It still doesn't excuse Chauvin's actions which clearly had an impact on Floyd's death. I don't see how he can be anything other than guilty.

      Um, are you assuming that he KNEW it was counterfeit?
      Because my understanding is that we have ALL passed counterfeit Russian/Chinese produced bills but that we didnt know.
      There are millions of dollars of it in circulation.
      Next, shopkeeoers have been known to pretend that a bill is counterfeit in order to keep a *real* bill.
      Or swap out a fake bill for a real one.

    He died because the cops aggravated his condition which is under the influence of some drug. He clearly wouldn't died from drug use if it wasn't for those cops kneeling on his neck. Why they didn't hire someone to connect his use of drugs being aggravated to an impromptu death because of how the cops abused him, furthermore he been using drugs, so why all of suddeb now is he dying from drug use, also he doesn't look like an unhealthy drug user, clearly he has his physical strength and senses. He knew what that officer was doing to him was killing him, his body let him know. The drugs wouldn't done that if it wasn't for Chavin dude.

    I’m surprised that this guys manager asked a man to walk outside the store to ask a man on drugs about counterfeit money. Isn’t this a liability? It’s extremely dangerous not knowing what kind of drugs a person is on and how a person is going to react or if they have a weapon or not. I’m not saying that George Floyd is a bad person. I’m saying that putting the cashier in this situation is asking a lot for a person’s personal safety.

    I used to work in gas stations. When I encounter just one fake bill note, I told the customer it is fake money and never called the police. The customer may have gotten the fake money from another store. If it is a multiple fake note bills, then it is obvious that the customer is trafficking and should call the police.

However even with his record he and Chauvin worked as Bouncers at a restuarant... He knew Floyd! When Chauvin arrived he took over and Put George on the ground after he preffered that but then came the kneel on the neck.. I believe Floyd didn't have much longer to live due to his health and drug use but it won't save Chauvin. He refused to get off even when the Paramedics told em to get off!! That sealed his fate.. srry mate..

      Seeing the body cam video and getting more information lends a better understanding of the initial use of force.
      Three questions
      1: Why was the knee placed on the neck? Would it not have been satisfactory to place weight on the back to keep George Floyd subdued?
      2: Isn't there a policy about releasing chock holds or forms of restraints that restrict an opponents ability to breath upon or prior to their passing out? Once Floyd stopped resisting arrest should the officer not have been able to move to a less imposing form of restraint?
      3: WTF didn't the other officers have a duty to stop Officer Chauvin once it became apparent that his actions were leading to the possible death of a captive in their captivity?

    I’ve caught once $100 counterfeit without pen back in days when i was cashier at the store . I was just young student not much about it , but it was obvious.. money was fake , but we got a pen later on to make sure double check again it was a counterfeit . We called cop, a guy was arrested without any incident .

      Usually you can tell by the texture. Using counterfeit US Dollars is a Federal crime. Usually it's conducted by the Secret Service or FBI agents. But I'm guessing they're not always available.

      This is one of the reasons why most retailers have policies against confronting customers even when they are stealing. The final outcome was not justified if it over a $100 dispute.
