- 30+ Class 11 (Stock Bug) land rush start to a sandy uphill climb that turns into chaos really quick! Over half the field didn't have the momentum to make it up and over on their first try. One of the best races you'll see during the 2023 King of the Hammers event.
The fact that Dave sees this kind of stuff and says "...yea, that's fine... ...maybe a little harder next year..." is what makes KoH so great lol. The world needs more motorsports where over half of the field doesn't finish(in 4400 anyway. And stock/mod too. And I'm pretty sure others as well, don't know all the numbers). Typically.
Those things are like a miracle. No power, no wheel travel, nothing, and they still get to the finish line
that was wild, im not sure what was more awesome a stampede of bugs or the bug passing that truck on the uphill lol
They should be required to wear clown suits.
Saw more action in 6 minutes then I did the entire 7 days I was out there😂 epic
Guy in the white bug sees the guy in the orange bug high centered. Guy in the white bug goes to the same hump and high centers for the sole purpose of shooting dirt at the other bugs trying to make the hill, apparently.
Still one of the most beloved cars ever built to this day. I wish I had VW.
To see all the bugs in different areas in this video, priceless. I love the way all the racers help each other, and the spectators get involved too. Thanks for the laugh
