Why should I deflate my tires? What Gear should I use?
In this video I'll take you through the basics of how to deflate your tires what works, what hasn't worked, and what issues I've experienced along the way. From How to pull your Valve Cores to Setting the Rhino USA tire deflators, Using the New Moab Auto Air Compressor, what it has vs. ARB and Moreflate. The benefits of a Four Air Inflation/Deflation system, and how much time each method takes.
I'll cover the three basics of why you should air down. 1) Tire floatation. Every time I've been to the beach and assisted someone it's because they didn't know how to Air Down or didn't pay attention to the signs. 2) Pliability of the tire lets your tire wrap around rocks, and increases your contact pattern. 3) Less likely to have a blowout.
We'll also cover the different air pressures I like to run, on Forrest Service Roads, at the Beach, on the trail, or on the rocks. And why I think you shouldn't go lower than 12PSI on a normal rim.

    The Build:
For my personal setup, I chose to go with the ‪@ClaytonOffRoad‬ 3.5" Overland Plus Kit. They have a great reputation. James was super helpful when deciding between the HD Springs or the Normal Springs. I'm extremely happy going with the HD springs and know that I'll be able to fully load the Gladiator out in the future with the load carrying capacity to grow! I also went with the ‪@GoRanchoSuspension‬ RS9000XL Shocks.
I've driven the Jeep now for about 5,000 miles, and the Rancho Clayton Combo is really spot on. I'm cruising around city and gravel roads on as little as setting 3 front and rear currently, although you can jump back up to level 4 or 5. The Great thing about the Rancho Shocks is you have 9 different levels to play around with to find the best ride for you at a budget price! I'd love to install a full set of the Rancho RockGear in the future.

Like most of you, I don't have a lift, and did this in my driveway with the help of my ‪@harborfreight‬ Badland Offroad Jack, and the full line of ‪@MilwaukeeTool‬ M12 Fuel Tools including the M12 Ratchet, M12 Fuel Ratchet, M12 Fuel Stubby Impact, M12 Fuel Hackzall (sawzall), M12 Fuel right angle impact, some Craftsman wrenches, Flexible gear wrenches, dead blow hammer, and several other Metric and SAE tools from Husky, Dewalt, Icon, and others.
My tools and off road jack travel with me on my trips as added insurance.

Did I hear you say you’d take the Moab over the morrflate?

Nothing against Morrflate , but the MOAB auto air has a dedicated single tire mode and a multiple tire mode that’s why I bought it as my HF Kept blowing fuses. Nothing against the brand, the Ten six says on their website “Airing up an entire vehicle, 1 tire at a time, will damage the TenSix. It just simply puts out too much air and is optimized for 4 tires at a time.” You can hear the MOAB running at a reduced RPM on Single vs Multitire mode.
