Just tested mine today, the non-Auto-air version, my results were pretty close to yours. Took just over 3 minutes to go from 17 PSI to about 35 PSI on my 33 inch tires. I noticed that if you leave the hoses connected for a few minutes with the valve closed after airing down the pressure will increase before nomalizing at least half a psi more than when you close the valve. Not a big deal but a little surprising.
Nice test. I always throw down a floor mat underneath to help make it even cooler. If it's really hot I have a portable fan I blow over it to make the cooling process speed up because those things stay really hot for a long time and you can't just throw it back in the bag.
For sure something to keep in mind is just how hot these can get. I can imagine just how hot these can get with 37" + tires.
Thank you Sr. I have been looking at a ARB but it's way to expenses (IMO) I also wanted a system that I can run from my Jeep to my 4X4 Van. Hope the links will help you out.....Cheers from AZ.
Right on
Looks exactly like the Thor's Lightining compressor just different colors... I wonder how reliable these units will be. They sure look cheap but do pump a lot of air.
The main companies are all using the same compressor in different colors. It’s gonna fall down to customer service in the end.
@@Mumfy64 How you been using it a lot? Can you count on it? I was about to purchase it but I had a similar situtaion when I bought an ebike that different companies just slapped their logo on it and it was just pure garbage from the start (Ariel Rider BTW)
@@mariozielu it has served me well so far without any issues. I pack it away after using it so it’s not subject to the elements/dust like an under the hood mounted option.
Is this still being used in your rig? What system did you stay with?
Still have this for the Truck.
Isn't there a way to wire that to like an aux switch or something and keep it on board like other units 🤔
I’m sure there is a way, but knowing I can take this in any vehicle I may need is an added benefit.
@Mumfy64 that is very true😮
Yes you can mount them and re do the switch to your liking
