Thank you for another great video. I really like the tight group/minimal deflection about these tri fins. I will pick up set when they are widely available.
Love it. FYI subscribers..I bought different sets of darts from mr worldwide over the last few months. Well my new package came with my harrows and yaoyeah darts…lo and behold I was also thrown in some free air wings, some molded flights and some l style. Thanks a lot…love it here from nyc
The one MAJOR negative with these flights would be looking at them through the eyes of a dart shop. While these are new it's also a tremendous investment to carry something that people may or may not buy repeatedly over time. More like a one and done type of thing. 3 different length and 5 different colors and on top of that these things won't be cheap. Let's be honest, a lot of players might see these as a gimmick but are still curious to try them. So they'll buy a set, try them out but not feel confident enough to make the switch to tri-fins. The old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind. My best guess is that these won't be around long no matter how much I liked them. Too much extra inventory for a dart shop to keep up with, too much competition in the rigid moulded flight market and too expensive. Again, I think this is something that players will buy once to try them out and not notice enough difference to want to make the permanent switch.
Love condor axe so ill be buying a set or 3 just to have as you say probably won't be about for long . Love the thought of seeing more treble bed when I've 2 already in
Hi WW. It seems that sellers are taking a bit of a chance on these. A-Z Darts, Darts Corner, DartsShopper have a few different types of tri-fin flights. I have seen a few offered on Ebay also. Maybe folks are giving these a try :).
Worldwide; really nice interesting review. I can't wait to try a couple sets. Hopefully we'll be able to get these from our favorite dart shops soon. Thanks and keep the videos rolling.
I'm sure they'll be showing up soon. They were released on the 19th or the 20th in Japan so I'm guessing the American and UK shops will have them in a few days or so. Problem is... they're going to sell out almost instantly.
Love that you’re still using the Braves, I couldn’t be happier with mine. Great review on the tris but I think I’ll stick to what I’m used to. Felt like these bring your shots slightly lower and you had to adjust to bring them up to match your normal throw? I mean they do look great and the advantage on vision is nice, but I’m not convinced they’re onto something with them. As always tho, great to see the content you keep treating us to. Ps, I tried out your throw style, a straight dart was non existent.
Enjoyed the video, and looking forward to constantly scanning the web to find them. Only tri-fins I’ve used are the Darts Clearance version. Not bad, but I don’t like having to use the tri-fin specific shafts. I’ll definitely give these a try.
I got a chance to try these a couple weeks ago and I REALLY liked them. I am a front gripper and the only way I can get the dart barrel to land on a decline (point down, flight up) is if I use a front weighted short barrel. If I throw a straight barrel it always lands perpendicular or on an incline. With these I used a straight barrel and they were landing perfectly for me.
Great video WW ! What an amazing product. Thanks for keeping us up to date on the latest offering in the dart world. I will have to scour the web to find a set. Well probably 2 sets. I am kind of excited to give them a try. I do like the Condor Axe flights so I think I am going to really like these ones.
Another commenter said they should be available in N. America May 1st. I can only assume they will be available elsewhere around then too. Hopefully you find a set or two 👍🏻
Thanks for the review. I'll definitely give them a try. One big advantage I can see is that there is one less fin to cause a deflection. Hopefully they will be available in the US soon. Thanks again!
Thanks! Yeah, that was definitely something I 100% noticed. To be fair, everybody throws differently and experiences might vary but I went all day and night without any sort of weird deflections. Literally not a single one. Of course the darts I'm using are smooth and equipped with Swiss Storms so that helps
Hugh fan of Condor Axe flight system, so this morning after watching your video got on line and found a dart shop ln Japan that them had in stock so ordered three sets in short red at $10.00 per set. Just looked again $9.25. I guess exchange rate, shipping pricey but still cheaper than other dart shops if I could get them
That's awesome! I imagine that A-Z Darts will be selling them in the $20-$22 range so to be able to get them for 1/2 that plus expensive shipping isn't too bad. Watch how quick the shipping is though. You'll have them soon I bet
Hi, Tony, I designed a set of darts that are triangle shaped and Custom-Made Darts made them for me and of course were perfect They fly well and are much easier to hold. I do have an old set of triangle flights and stems, but the Condor Axe 120 look a lot better.
I really enjoyed this video. The only tri fin flights I have ever used are from Darts Clearance. I don't mind using them and they fly very similar to standard 4 fin flights. Condor Axe is my favorite flight / shaft combo system hands down. The colors offered for these tri fin flights really look nice. I would definitely purchase a set and very likely would be a repeat customer.
Hey WWD; another great video and another great review as usual! But I think you "hit the nail on the head" when you said that these flights will more than likely be expensive and hard to find due to limited stock. But as always if I can stumble upon a set at my local shop, then may give them a try. Still have and like the Winmau Fusion flights (standard, intermediate); have them on my steel tips and my soft tips darts. Every once in a while you may get one of those wild deflections but very minimum. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you. Yeah, I could imagine dart shops could get carried away trying to keep up with the grossly expensive overhead trying to supply these types of flights. The market is saturated right now a bit isn't it? These are worth a try for sure but I don't see too many making a permanent switch.
That was the only real difference I noticed. I threw all day and night with them and didn't notice the flights bashing into one another. I kept waiting for some sort of crazy deflection and it never came. Honestly impressed.
I’ve got to say these are one of the most left-field sets I think anyone could have. Smooth barrel. Screw in points. Three fin flights. WWWD Worldwide weird darts. And still a 180. Incredible!
Great video, as always 👍🏼 well, i use the 'Cosmo darts Delta' (Tri-Fin) as well as the 'Darts Clearance Tri-Fin', and they work pretty good 🎯🎯🎯 now I'm looking forward to try the AXE 120 and hope that Cosmo will release their delta again 'cause they are discontinued for several years now 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Those Cosmo flights are VERY hard to get a hold of. Nearly impossible. If you look at the dart stand behind me there's two sets. The lime green ones on the top row, far right. The other set are the white ones on the bottom left. I wonder if they'll be tempted to bring them back after this?
@@WorldwideDarts I guess, now that most of the brands release their molded Shaft-flight-system "copying" the AXE, Condor has to produce something "new". This is why they release the 120. And I guess many axe-user will try the 120, so it will be a success.
I'm just getting into darts, and I remember the darts from when I was a kid that had integrated flights & stems. That left hole at the top right under that slightly reinforced part.
Thanks world wide , i would have never even considered these until your video .... now id like to try them they do still feel a little gimmicky but if YOU say less deflections and they shoot straight without curving i can only imagine how they would perform on a soft tip board with all that extra room in the segments vs. Steel tip.
