My great grandma always told me to burn hair vs throwing it in the trash. I'm sure it's some old superstition but till this day I still do it, lol. I usually just rinse with warm water after cleaning the hair out but I'm gonna try this. I have a brush/comb cleaning tool from Sally's that works really good.
@@AprilSunnyBeauty I think it had something to do with birds using it to make their nests or something like that, lol. I think it's an old southern thing. As stupid as it sounds it's just one of those things that become a habit for me.
thanks for the video! i've watched a couple of others but i think yours has the best steps for someone who don't want it to be too simple (cleaning with shampoo) or too professional (salon style complete with quats?). so thanks!!
Thank you for your very helpful tutorial! It's exactly what I was looking for and I'm very much looking forward to exploring the rest of your channel. Be well....
My grandma found my two sided hair brush I had back in 07-08 and It hasn't been cleaned since. Im hoping to clean and restore it. I just feel so nostalgic.
Good advice. I just throw shampoo on them when I wash my hair and rinse them in the tub and air dry on a towel. Then I hit the tub with scrubbing bubbles.
I was hella tired when i typed this lmfao also got into a match of dead by daylight wail trying to type lmfao but i didnt mean to have shat in the beginning lmfao
No idea who taught you this cleaning method, but vinegar and baking soda neutralize each other. You're basically washing with salt water after the reaction between the two of them occurs.
This was really helpful but you need to have the music a tiny bit quieter when your talking x
Tfw, I'll keep that in mind!
Totally agree, the music was way too loud. Your instructions were excellent. Thanks! Regards/ Rose K.
Agree music overpowered ur voice

If a bird makes a nest with your hair you will have a headache for the rest of your life or even worse someone can put ROOTS on you.
@@mochamommyATX yes that's it. I knew it had something to do with a nest.
@@kalishajnz lol my mom is from down south as well, and told me this too! I didn't think anyone else knew of this, very cool!

Why not shampoo, like how we wash our hair? Or like Dawn that I would use to wash my makeup brushes?
cant hear over the loud music
Youre adorable
The music makes it difficult to hear parts. Overbearing
ooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmggggggggggggg ur so fucking pretty
I plead the blood of Jeuss over your channel I pray you come to a more intimate and faithful relationship with Jesus our King!🖤
Thanks for the video. Please stop using music in tutorial style videos where you talk. It's really distracting and annoying
