    4 months in using the longer pin tek paddle brush everyday use still looks and feels new doesn’t collect and get dirty like most not to mention I only loose 42-48 strains of hair a day verse lost around 150 from regular plastic brushes yes I did count the each strain from both to get proof of it first week last week with the plastic before the switch first time in years with no split ends use to have to get trim ups every 2-3 months not anymore not one split end and it’s 4 months in my hair is also growing more naturally getting a half inch extra of growth per month now I do use natural products such as 100 percent tea tree oil 100 percent argon oil and Morocco lastly just use coconut milk ultra whipped egg white proteins coconut oil use 2-3 drops for all in a mixture and massage it to my scalp once a week and the oils collects to the comb and I can daily re use the comb without adding the mixture which saves money aswell! If that helps anyone out it’s extra half inch a month of hair growth no split ends! I give it a 10/10 go buy one y’all! :) *helpful hint* if you have super thick hair can be a challenge getting those knots out if you put your hair all the way down comb from the bottom then to middle first then comb up make your way to the sides and comb from the bottom up holding it from the top it gets the knots out with no hair loss then flip your hair back then comb it again magical trick I came across :)

  • @megalopolis2015

    Wooden brushes rock. I have finer, naturally curly hair that does not distribute oils very well on its own and is prone to breakage and split ends. These brushes reduce all of that, including frizz over time. There is definitely scalp stimulation, relative ease of detangling, is a lot less painful and easier to clean. They are also much more well-made and are built to last. Thanks for this video. I love Sally. She is one of my heroes. :0)

    • @megalopolis2015
      @megalopolis2015 5 років тому +2

      @@LoveLeigh313 I try to drink a lot of water, take supplements like flax oil and biotin, as well as a lot of Vitamin D (boosts stuff I take and assists with mood stabilization), try to eat more veggies, and I use coconut oil inside and out. I use a satin-lined cap and gently twist two sides of my hair under it before bed or braid. I apply several oils at different times, depending on what I have access to, but my go-to oils tend to be coconut, argan, olive and occasionally avocado. I have a hair tonic I recently made with all kinds of cool stuff in it, which I can send to you if you like. I rarely use heat styling products, and only color with semi-permanent, natural-based dye. (It smells somewhat like grape soda, in fact). My hair doesn't grow very fast, so I do have to trim it to prevent excessive breakage, but I don't go overboard, either, or it'll grow in instead of out. :0) I've been trimming my own hair since I was fourteen.It is important to keep the hair scissors sharp so it doesn't cause more split ends. Sorry this is long. I do hope it is helpful.

    I've had my wooden brush for over 10 years now & I'm very satisfied with it! When you buy quality, handle your things with care & know how to clean them the right way, they can last a long time 😊Unfortunately the rubber which holds the bristles has some cracks & the transparent lacquer flakes off. So when I can't use the brush anymore, I wanna get one without lacquer. I'll oil it myself like I oil fake & real leather & my furniture. I don't wanna have the chemicals in lacquer & the flaking off...

      Combing is typically a lot more gentle on the hair, so it's usually recommended to use a wide toothed comb to comb your hair when it's wet. I personally don't comb or brush my hair at all when it's wet, but it really depends on your hair type! I also find that if I only comb it, I can't get all of the tangles out properly, and I find that brushing is better for scalp stimulation and oil production

    My wooden brush has these little balls on the top .. 😕 Should I buy a different one? I thought they were good for massaging the scalp and that stuff y'know 😂

      Yes, the balls snag hair.

      They snag the hair a lot and they do tend to cause more breakage, plus they make it harder to clean the brush. If you're able to invest in another brush without them then definitely go for it :)

    Can we get these at ulta?

      Not this specific brand, but I'm sure there are other brands of wooden brushes that you can get there? I don't have Ulta here so I have no clue 😅

    It’s boar bristles that redistributes oil threw out your hair. It has nothing to do with what the brush handle is made of

      I'm currently taking some Nature's Bounty ones from the drugstore but I haven't been taking them long enough to notice if they're working or not. I'll for sure be doing a review on them when I finish them :)

    I enjoy using wooden combs and brushes but never clean them in water bc it would lose its color and it will Warp making useless 😭

    Very attractive young lady. I wish she was wearing a light color top so those long locks would be more visible.
    I have a wooden brush with boars hair bristles. An older guy mostly bald but I've had a long beard many times as being Santa Claus is a thoroughly enjoyable activity I've done.
    It's been a bit harder for me to find instructions for cleaning my brush. It picks up hair, dry skin, and even saw dust if I've been working on a wood working project. This was interesting to view but I still need info that works for my brush. Thanks again and have a good day ladies!
