  • Most of us have some tough questions about evangelism. Do nonChristians really want to talk about faith? Why are Christians afraid to share the Gospel? Does evangelism even work today?
In 2001, one local church asked themselves these same questions. They took a chance on a new evangelism ministry, Christianity Explored, and prayed God would make a change. Now, twenty years later, we're sharing their incredible story...

I was in tears during this video presentation. I remember what it was like before I got saved - how much I hated Christianity and Christians. My entire family abused me, failed me, and abandoned me, and there was no way that a loving God existed who would allow that to happen. I was a very angry, drunk, addicted atheist. I got saved while reading the bible (the gospel of John) in an attempt to arm myself with just enough scripture to shame Christians who were mostly biblically illiterate. That was 23 years ago. Now, I'm clean and sober, married to a darling Christian wife, am a member of a local church, am active in evangelism, and am in love with my Savior, Jesus Christ. God is real, and He is love. Blessings to all who are reading this comment 🙏

If we love the Lord, how can we not want to share such love with others. This seems like a powerful introduction for many.

Reading the bible because things don't make sense has got to be the first step for someone genuinely interested in the Truth. Being satisfied with the lies and remaining luke warm is a fatal condition that sucks up a lot of people's lives.

It is important to give people an opportunity to ask questions and to show beautiful love towards the lost for sure. I just hope this program explains that you have to turn away from sin and live Holy by The empowerment of The Holy Spirit.

Um u have very extreme examples of bad evangelism experiences. I've personally shared jesus with thousands. And many hundreds have believed. The gospel is very simple. 1 cor 15:1-4. If they believe this they are saved. It's really quite simple. Just do it,trust the holy spirit is with u.

I like the way God develops and perfects us in love and forgiveness. MARK 16:15 “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. I believe when we receive Christ it is an honor to learn to reproduce Him in us into others. AMEN

Let love rain, like sweet mercy from heaven. Let mercy flow like waves and waves flowing richly from the heart of God. May love arise ... may mercy come forth ... may love and mercy bring forth hearts of compassion. Compassion for the lost, compassion for the thirsty, compassion for the hungry, compassion for the poor, compassion for the homeless, compassion for others. Not in just words or deeds done, but from the depths of the heart seeking to give Glory to God through open arms embracing the needs of others. May we look with the heart of God. May we see with his eyes or mercy and compassion and may we do all things to His Glory. For the river of God is love, may it flow richly through us. For the river of God is sweet mercy, may it flow richly through us. For the river of God is compassion, may they see it in our eyes, hear it from our hearts and see it through open arms embracing the needs of others. --- May we place others even before ourselves and all love like Jesus.

Tom Foord a minister in evangelist sermon =a copy of a ministers sermon = to elderly Christians: don’t view retirement from the workforce as an opportunity to WASTE your grand-children’s inheritance , through luxurious, self indulgent living.

Well, "evangelism" is actually REQUIRED IF you CARE about others. If you dont, then maybe Christianity ISNT for you. Evangelism WORKS today when you offer it with LOVE. When you ARE SAVED, you WANT to SHARE it!

Yes I totally get what you're saying! I told God this morning that I wanted to make my life count as a Christian. From my vantage point at a car park in a hospital I saw a man all hooked up to oxygen sitting outside. I wanted to go share with him but I walked past smiled and said hello as I did. I turned at back entry stairway and here was another guy sitting in a wheelchair and we kind of surprised each other. As we both startled each other we kind of jumped and then laughed. I couldn't help but start a conversation after this. He was in wheel chair also. Turned out that he had just been recently diagnosed with the same condition my father had before he passed away. I was really able to empathise with this gentleman. Eventually I got to share my testimony with him and to give him a gospel of John. We have to make the decision to care and to share and to be willing asking God for the opportunity and courage to witness by faith. I thought that I was meant to witness to the first guy and that id failed lacking the courage. But God showed me that he even uses our failed attempts and creates something that He has perfectly prepared. He measures our faith and courage and gives us the perfect level of challenge and opportunity. But we do have to be prepared to be willing to witness. Otherwise we really are just warming the seat in the church. So Lord please make us willing to share and unwilling to sit idly, unfeeling by and unconcerned about others who don't yet know You. Help us Jesus to be your hands, feet and voice in this lost world. Amen

God is a wrathful God but in that wrath is more live. Just as any parent disciplines thier children it is only in love. For someone to feel convicted and condemned is tye sin in them being shown by God. We HAVE to STOP SUGAR COATING THE TRUTH and the scriptures!
The good news is that we are vil wretched humans and we are born in sin BUT God loves us so much he sent his only son/himself to experience humanity and live as we do and die for us so that we may enter heaven. This ONLY happens if we REPENT (Change our minds) and stop living in sin. No one is gettingnto heaven while living in sin and accepting Christ truly makes you WANT to please God naturally. So many people say they believe but have no faith and think they can live how they want and still get there but its a lie told by soft evangelists!

Any religion worth its salt must explain the root cause of suffering and how it can be overcome, in order to experience the peace, joy and love of " heaven ".
Otherwise it is just useless dogma
I am.heartily sick of bigoted arrogant Christians preaching nonsense in the street.
If someone really was full of the Holy Spirit, they would just need to demonstrate this with love and kind actions.
" by their fruits you shall know them ".
