    Absolutely incredible..Great job..You are officially my favorite Wet technique teacher. You talk like Bob but know your not bob..Can tell you built your skills from him but your you..This was great cause I have my 24x18 ready to go and In the show he doesn't mention liquid clear or any of what you did..What a great teacher..It looked like such garbage as they always do but boom magic..Do you teach privately?

    • @paintwithbram

      You can try but it won't blend as easily as oil. It's worth giving it a shot though. Painting is fun no matter the type of paint.

    Next time you should take a paper towel and wipe the canvas after you apply the liquid clear, you only need a tiny amount :)

    • @paintwithbram
      @paintwithbram  3 роки тому

      Correct. I spoke on that in the video. I have painted enough to I know when I have too much or too little. I always encourage students to wipe the canvas down when first starting.

    • @paintwithbram
      @paintwithbram  3 роки тому +1

      Depends on the painting. I usually only use LC on a black canvas.

      @@paintwithbram Noted. Thank you. I am not at the level to go freeform yet, but i love cityscapes and class one railroads, so almost every bob painting i see, i see a spot where a BNSF train line would carve through. i get the feeling i would need A LOT of thin paint haha.

    Hey, so i did a similar painting, with northern lights, mountains, snow at night. And i had a lot of snow drifts below just kind of smooth slopes across and i find it hard to ger the white to show up without picking up so much blue underneith. Which i want some blue to show for shadows but i dont know if i used too much blue under, or wether i was supposed to use liquid clear underneith or not for that part, even when i used part liquid white for snow it still was hard to get it to look right. I can always relayer it when it dries but any help would be appreciated if ya can

    How long does it take to dry before you would frame it if you wanted to

    • @paintwithbram
      @paintwithbram  10 місяців тому

      Wait until it is dry to the touch. Most likely after 2 weeks.
