Emetophobia. Same here. It's not as severe as it used to be but it's still there. Mine developed when I was little, and my brother would get car sick. He was sitting next to me, and of course I couldn't get away or distance myself in a moving car.

I have extremely bad Alektorophobia!!! (Fear of chickens) I literally have panic attacks when I see one. Even in photos. I can’t even stand eating chicken either. I don’t know why. Nothing has ever happened to me. They just scare me so bad.
I used to be terrified of bees. I just pretended I wasn't and tried to pick them up if they were dying or in the way. Literally a fake it till you make it situation.

I don’t think he would be able to help me with my severe blood-injection-injury phobia. At least not in the short amount of time they claim he’s able to help people.
So pretty much I’m not scared of myself throwing up it’s when I hear other people throwing up it terrifies me like now my mom has been throwing up all night and I had to get up and grab headphones and it’s so bad I can’t even go to the bathroom without getting scared
I have Arachnophobia and its so bad that if I think about spiders or even see a picture of one before bed I can't sleep the whole night and I start breathing heavily . I'm always rubbing places like the back of my head or the side of my leg because I feel like there's a spider on me. If I see one in real life I scream, run and sometimes I even cry. The same thing happens with cobwebs. Other than that I'm phobia free!
I am ocd not diagnosed, i once made my girlfriends, boyfriend run home from the bus stop i thought the door was unlocked even though i checked my usual 1234 times. he saw that it was came back than later at the mall i remembered i didn't blow out my candle. and believe my ocd is triggered by my mind telling me you forgot something. luckily my dad came home blew it out. my ocd triggers are from traumatic circumstances. im a neat freak. a little paranoid about germs or health too. but handling it on my own.
Well i don't know about me. I have panic attacks and often. Everything i used to be okay with scares me. I am always on edge. And fear death. I am on ativan as needed.
As long as nobody can promise me that I will never ever throw up anymore in my life this phobia can not go away ?! But if I can know 100% this will never happen my life will absolutely totally change!
I have a fear of throwing up to , but I found something that helps . If you feel like you’re going to throw up drink as much ice water as you can . So if you really do vomit you won’t get dry heaves and it will be so cold coming up you won’t feel like your choking or burning . Since I put this into practice throwing up doesn’t seem as bad or scarey .
I have a phobia being around tall buildings. Going to Vegas or Downtown L.A. is terrifying for me and I don't know how to get rid of this fear. I get a panic attack just being there.
I have a rlly bad phopia of vomiting! There's too much to explain! I feel like I'm gonna' vomit only a lil is there any why to stop this phopia without vomiting?
I am having haemophobia, the fear of blood. I am having very hard time while studying or listening lectures of biology. I don't know how I will deal with it in future 😭...
I have a fear of embarrassment when panicking, balloons, balls, everything that can explore, etc.but I over come it by not thinking of it and challenging my thoughts and thinking there's nothing will happen to me
Can he help me? I have a phobia of almost everything, tall trees, buildings, tower’s, bridges large bodies of water, snakes( in all forms), spiders and the list goes on. Please I just want to be normal again.
You should talk to a therapist. Where did you grow up? Because it's odd that you're scared of tall buildings and natural trees. I truly mean no offense, but were you raised in an area with not many trees or buildings? Maybe that is the reason. I would take a walk everyday by something a little big, then take a walk by something bigger everyday. When you see that nothing happens, the tall thing will never fall on you, you should feel more comfortable.
I need this guys help with my fear of bugs. I literally cannot even watch videos of bugs or look at photos of bugs because it makes me feel like I've got bugs crawling all over me. I scan every room I walk into for bugs just so I don't get surprised or one can't sneak up on me.
The ticklish thing is true. I heard that the feeling with get is a protective feature for the body. But it also can be turned off and I am one to be able to do this. I can be ticklish when I want but if I don’t want to I tell myself I’m not ticklish and ignore it
Can you cure my driving phobia? I wish someone like him could cure me of this I'm just so scared of driving I hate it i don't think I will ever drive in my life! I've never been in an accident or anything but just the fear of thinking Ima crash scares the crap out of me! It's embarrassing that I can't even drive my daughter to her drs appointments or that I can't even get my drivers license because I know I have to take the driving test and I'm scared to drive a car. :(
I know it's all in my mind but it's not that easy as people think that it's gonna be okay you'll be fine I just don't think that way. I'm scared I'll lose control I overthink every little mess up I make thinking i could have got in a accident and then it makes me not want to drive ever again. I've tried enough times to scare me completely my anxiety has taken control of me from ever driving it's been a year since I have driven a car and it's so sad I can't get rid of this fear for the sake of my daughter having a mother who can't take her places. :(
lorena hernandez You should try to look into a therapist that does exposure therapy. They will slowly work you up until you no longer feel crippling anxiety.
Rach113 thank you for recommending something, at this point I'd try anything to get help. I'll for sure look into a therapist I never thought of that I've only thought of hypnosis but im kind of scared to try that. Thank you for helping! 🙏🏻
I have basophobia and acrophobia combined, I panic when I'm on a higher floor and there's sparkly marble walls and floors all around me. God that's the worst that I experience. I hate it.
I can’t deal with lizards. I get so paranoid when on holiday and check under covers and bed every night. I saw one in my room once and I struggle even more now. My dream is to move to la in 5-7 years but house geckos are gonna hold me back
I hate this idea that phobia is a fear. Its not a fear. Im not scared of seeing blood, but sometimes(not always) certain kinds/amounts of gore will send my body into shock and i will faint
i have a pretty weird fear. whenever a door is open a crack and it's dark inside, i imagine someone looking at me. and my dressers are broken on one there's a huge dark gap and i keep thinking there's a man hiding in there watching me. also mirrors. but there's mirrors for like towel holders and things in my bathroom so i stand just where i can't see myself and i can't look into my own eyes but i know that just because i can't see it it doesn't mean it's not there looking at me.
when i was first dignosed with a seizure disorder i had my blood drawn every week and i think that was when i began to develope the fear of needles. i can not pin point what exact fear when it comes to needles but i will do anything to get away. i am okay when they swab me with the wipe but as soon as i see the needle i get that fight or flight reaction.
I used to have a fear of needles and after I got the covid shot I was less afraid because it hardly hurt at all. I still somewhat panic but it’s less bad
I used to really be afraid of needles like the idea of getting shots or my blood drawn. I think cause when I was 6 I had surgery for my ears and adnoids and they had to do some pre stuff like draw my blood and I remember really like crying and screaming about so I went years without doing it then till I was 18 and from then on I did it a little more and I hardly get any anxiety before I've even given blood twice
i have cleptophobia; fear of being robbed on the street. i suffered... but i tried an approach called 'flooding' which consists of doing the exact thing you have phobia from...
I have OCD but I don't have the physical aspect of it, I don't have a phobia of germs and I don't tap on walls or anything like that. I have the obsessive, intrusive thought aspect of OCD, and actually, I grew up playing on farms and zoo's so I love the smell of farms and dirt! I know I'm weird, but my fellow animal people know what I'm talking about!
I have a fear of repetitive motions and sounds. It’s even worse when those motions or sounds are continuous. I can’t even look at a ceiling fan or hear it without getting scared or freaking out. I use my headphones basically every hour of the day. Sometimes there’s nothing on the white wall but somehow my mind makes me think that there’s a TV static there and static is repetitive so it freaked me out a lot. Even when I close my eyes I see these shapes which is supposed to be normal but I get so scared. Basically, even though the repetitive motions aren’t there, I see it there for no reason at all.
I have phasmophobia, i cant sleep, im still with it but i hope this can help, and actually two phobias, nyctophobia aswell [nyctophobia is fear and dark and phasmophobia is fear of ghosts]
I've suffered from extremely bad misophonia for 20ish years. It's affected and ruined most aspects of my life. I'd love to know if this can help me, and if it's a recognized by psychiatrists..
SomeRandom Chick I suffer from misophonia horribly it's a plague on my life I have so many triggers ...behavior therapy did nothing and as i got older it got exponentially worse ....now in my 30s adhd medication has been life changing I can finally coexist with other people and actually enjoy being around them
krowenj that's great to hear. I've not done therapy, I wouldn't think it would work. what kind of adhd meds are you on? I'll do almost anything at this point. it's ruining my life and it's.affecting my kids.
SomeRandom Chick I take Adderall IR it took some work with a good doctor to find the right med/dose but it has saved my life literally things had gotten so bad I couldn't even be around people that I knew made any sort of sound that was a trigger the anxiety of even looking at them waiting for them to do it then the murderous rage as soon as I heard them it was debilitating, ever since starting this as long as I always take it I'm 80%-90% cured through the day .....it's been a miracle for me
I have Gerascophobia, and I’m terrified of going to 11th grade. I hate the word “teenager,” and I always “correct” people whenever they say it by saying ‘child’ or ‘kid’ overtop of them. Anyone else with this problem? Also, does anyone else have emetophobia?
HOWIE! I love him! (Not love love) I have a huge phobia of needles... it all started when I was 6... I didn’t know I was getting shots and three doctors come in TWO SHOTS EACH! And bam right in the legs. I couldn’t stand... I also got my blood drawn too... then they found out I have rumatoid arthritis
I have a major fear for worms. as a kid, I had multiple issues with them. one in which they were in my head. there are too many tmi I can't share, however. All these experiences had left me tramatized for 18yrs now. nothing I do ever helped! it's destroying my life. I wish there was a pill that could take this phobia away.
To be honest, I have ablutophobia (fear of showers). I dont get scared to bath at all. But when there is a shower in my bathroom, I am almost dead. I feel like to get out of there as soon as possible. My family thinks this is so weird. But, for me, it feels like I am facing something even worse than death. Please help me.. Thanks!

I have a phobia of nail files. When I see one or hear the sound my blood runs cold, I get chills, I start shaking, I can't stand it. When ppl use them around me or if I see them I freak out.. I cannot be around them, that and sandpaper
I have coulrophohia (fear of clowns) and arachnophobia (fear of spiders) really bad that whenever i see any one of them my heart starts racing and i start sweating
It's so annoying when the other people keep interrupting the Howie guy. Let him tell his story first, maybe he'll already answer your questions before you ask them if you listen. Welcome to my Ted talk.
I have a needle phobia and will not get the covid shot..my family got sick with Covid and I'm in quarenteen as my family suffers ..it's so horrible to see I feel so helpless ..I need to figure out a way to get shot . It sounds insane I have not got the shot I know..I usually pass out turn white and hit the floor if I even see a needle .. how can I get over this ..I'd do anything to get out of this mindframe ..I'm praying for my son and his wife and baby who all have the delta strain .. yes I'm 55 year old male.. people without this fear of needles might think I'm nuts..what can I do anyone?
Google treatment for BII phobia, that's what you have. I have it too.. I've heard tensing your muscles and relaxing them can help. There's also something called "shot blocker" and it makes it so you don't feel the actual needle so much. I recommend it. My 5 year old is having a very tough time with needles herself.
i have phobia of tornadoes... even still i a romanian person.... when ever i watched an video about size conparasations ( i can't spell it )and it was about tornadoes it freaked me out very much... somehow... when ever i go outside i feel fear when i look at the sky and see clouds, this is what changed me. i was even asking my friends to comfort me cause i was so scared sometimes... this is my big problem here, and im not joking. and im even scared of the wind.....
I would probablic panic now i cant touch people literlly no One, not even my family, not for germophobia but literlly distancing me for the outsideworld
I have a strong fear of vomit. It doesn't make me nauseated, just terrified. So I forced myself to watch the Slo Mo guy's video... Repeatedly. I also have terrible anxiety anyway. It worked though. The phobia of vomit came from kindergarten where one of the students had an esophageal issue that he couldn't keep his food down. I also have a mild phobia of balloons. Not the metallic ones, just the latex ones. One poped unexpectedly when I was a kid and It traumatised me.
i think i developed germophobia and i hate it, for the past 3 months all i think about when u touch anything is the amount of germs it has and what if it has a germ that could harm me, i hate it bc i used to be the opposite and not worry to much about cleaning unless something looked dirty and i would never get sick
I'm struggling with my blood phobia and I really want to be a cage fighter but every time I see blood i get dizzy and feel sick but i really want to get rid of it and i don't know how
i have a major phobia of airplanes...i was afraid of them before i even got on one. i got on one to go on a vacation when i was around 12 and since then i just cant get back on one. im beyond terrified of even thinking about getting on one. i have nightmares even at 22 years old of just having to get on a plane. and i know its fairly safe and that thousands of people get on planes every single day, im just terrified of them 😢
Everybody knows that you can't tickle yourself no matter how ticklish you are. When you try to tickle yourself your brain is prepared for what comes next, so this is a bad example.
Here’s what I’ll say about phobias and fears that might help someone. They are ALL curable. How great is that? Some of you might be thinking right now “Yeah but my fears not so easy as a fear of snakes, I can’t just hold a snake and get over it, mines not that simple”. Wrong, yours IS that simple. Why? Because again, all fears are curable. You got yourself into that mess-albeit unintentionally-and you can get yourself out. You have to expose yourself to what stressing you. Getting over a phobia is one of the most simplest things in the world. Not easy, but extremely simple. Just Do what scares you. Fear of bridges? Guess what you’re going to be driving over? There’s really only two options. Live with the fear and the debilitating symptoms that come with it, or face it and conquer it. Maybe you don’t know how to conquer your specific phobia. Maybe you don’t know what first step to take. First of all, understand that just because you don’t know what to do, doesn’t mean there isn’t a solution. Second of all, understand that ALL phobias are curable. You’re not some unique person where exposure therapy won’t drastically reduce symptoms or cure you. Find solace in the fact that while you still might be experiencing symptoms, it won’t always be that way. Find solace in that fact that your fear can easily be overcome. All it takes is that first step.

So pretty much I’m not scared of myself throwing up it’s when I hear other people throwing up it terrifies me like now my mom has been throwing up all night and I had to get up and grab headphones and it’s so bad I can’t even go to the bathroom without getting scared
Stay strong !
Other than that I'm phobia free!
i started watching and then WOW! i couldnt hear anything after i saw those red stillettos. LOVE!
We need people like this to get rid of homophobes.
It sounds like anxiety tbh I have diagnosed OCD ADHD depression and anxiety
I am diagnosed with generalized anxiety
Both my anxiety and depression were said to be major.
Well i don't know about me. I have panic attacks and often. Everything i used to be okay with scares me. I am always on edge. And fear death. I am on ativan as needed.
7 years now.
I’m scared of pain I try to avoid it all the time
It would be life changing to have my bug phobia fixed and get my life at work back
My phobia of worms is terrible and I almost cry when I see them on a picture or in real life
oh no thats tough to deal with i'm sure for you
That snake phobia Dr. Travis has and the experiment in curing your phobia by confronting it head on....lol....that shit was hilariously adorable 🐍😊
Do you remember when Maury Povich used to do Phobias on his talk show from 2000-2008 and Gary Coxe was an expert on Maury for the phobias also.
I remember it well lol
Choking fear.
Life is hell with it!
I have never been a tornado but it’s my phobia and I woke up crying my eyes out from having a dream about a tornado 😭😭😭
I have a rlly bad phopia of vomiting! There's too much to explain! I feel like I'm gonna' vomit only a lil is there any why to stop this phopia without vomiting?
That was the weirdest segment. Id be like "don't touch me, touch yor self"
I am having haemophobia, the fear of blood. I am having very hard time while studying or listening lectures of biology. I don't know how I will deal with it in future 😭...
@Enamati I am having no Idea what should we do next😭
Any improvement in your situation?
I need this guys help with my fear of bugs. I literally cannot even watch videos of bugs or look at photos of bugs because it makes me feel like I've got bugs crawling all over me. I scan every room I walk into for bugs just so I don't get surprised or one can't sneak up on me.
I have a phobia of choking and I’ve choked several times to the point I have a panic attack and it’s scary 😰😢
eat slow... the hell
My fear of throwing up sucks
The ticklish thing is true. I heard that the feeling with get is a protective feature for the body. But it also can be turned off and I am one to be able to do this. I can be ticklish when I want but if I don’t want to I tell myself I’m not ticklish and ignore it
I get a mental breakdown when I see any type of bug
but im afraid of being held down and tickling then what do they do
That can't be that bad though, right? Or at least compared to the bug thing
lorena hernandez You're welcome 😊 I have the same fear so I can relate. Hopefully we can both overcome it :)
I'm terrified of freeways. I can drive on normal streets, but there is no way you can get me on a freeway. :(
I have basophobia and acrophobia combined, I panic when I'm on a higher floor and there's sparkly marble walls and floors all around me. God that's the worst that I experience. I hate it.
I can’t deal with lizards. I get so paranoid when on holiday and check under covers and bed every night. I saw one in my room once and I struggle even more now. My dream is to move to la in 5-7 years but house geckos are gonna hold me back
Who else is scrolling through the comments to see if they vomit or not
I hate this idea that phobia is a fear.
Same
when i was first dignosed with a seizure disorder i had my blood drawn every week and i think that was when i began to develope the fear of needles. i can not pin point what exact fear when it comes to needles but i will do anything to get away. i am okay when they swab me with the wipe but as soon as i see the needle i get that fight or flight reaction.
Same
I used to have a fear of needles and after I got the covid shot I was less afraid because it hardly hurt at all.
My phobia of doctors and needles are so bad that it will not go away because I have hade a bad experience in the past
i have cleptophobia; fear of being robbed on the street. i suffered... but i tried an approach called 'flooding' which consists of doing the exact thing you have phobia from...
When I was little I was on an island in a lake and when I looked down there was a huge spider on my foot and now I have arachnophobia
I love to help people remove phobias online
can you help me cure my emetophobia please? it has ruined my life for long enough and i'm sick of it
I have a fear of repetitive motions and sounds.
I also have OCD and it's debilitating. I haven't deposited my check from work in over a week because I don't want to have to get on the bus.
I have phasmophobia, i cant sleep, im still with it but i hope this can help, and actually two phobias, nyctophobia aswell [nyctophobia is fear and dark and phasmophobia is fear of ghosts]
Oh God, that’s a scary story. I don’t mind bugs but now, I don’t know
I've suffered from extremely bad misophonia for 20ish years. It's affected and ruined most aspects of my life. I'd love to know if this can help me, and if it's a recognized by psychiatrists..
Grace Hanson -bowie is life :)
SomeRandom Chick I take Adderall IR it took some work with a good doctor to find the right med/dose but it has saved my life literally things had gotten so bad I couldn't even be around people that I knew made any sort of sound that was a trigger the anxiety of even looking at them waiting for them to do it then the murderous rage as soon as I heard them it was debilitating, ever since starting this as long as I always take it I'm 80%-90% cured through the day .....it's been a miracle for me
SomeRandom Chick someone told me about hypnosis. it's the only thing I never tried in the case of my phobia(it's really expensive).
I have Gerascophobia, and I’m terrified of going to 11th grade. I hate the word “teenager,” and I always “correct” people whenever they say it by saying ‘child’ or ‘kid’ overtop of them. Anyone else with this problem? Also, does anyone else have emetophobia?
HOWIE! I love him! (Not love love)
I have a huge phobia of needles... it all started when I was 6...
I wish there was a pill that could take this phobia away.
marsha okhiria I always wanted to touch one
Extreme tachophobia here. I even have a hard time walking fast.
Thanks!
that sounds very odd. Did you ever get help for this ?
i have such a bad fear of germaphobia and food poisoning that all i eat is chips and lucky charms cheerios and other breakfast cerials.

Thea Gerle XD only thing that has helped me is by throwing up.
Thea Gerle XD
Why are you afraid of throwing up?
What bad thing do you think will happen if you do?
Pendulaphobia 🙅🏻♀️ I hate it so much
It's so annoying when the other people keep interrupting the Howie guy.
I can understand the balloon thing. Lots of times when people or I are near balloons or are gonna pop them I have to hold my ears lol
I AM A HUGE GERM WORRY AND AM NOT LIVING A NORMAL LIFE, CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME ADVICE.
I thought the tickling was going to be weird until I saw it happening and I was like “thank god this isn’t creepy” 😂😂
lol
Once you’re aware of how dirty things are you can’t unsee it in your mind
i think i developed germophobia and i hate it, for the past 3 months all i think about when u touch anything is the amount of germs it has and what if it has a germ that could harm me, i hate it bc i used to be the opposite and not worry to much about cleaning unless something looked dirty and i would never get sick
@@Paola-vj5xs same here
I'm struggling with my blood phobia and I really want to be a cage fighter but every time I see blood i get dizzy and feel sick but i really want to get rid of it and i don't know how
You get used to it over time. You sound young, so I'd just toughen up and keep at it ;) you can do anything if you are determined.
take my foot phobia away!!! it's gotten so bad that I stopped having sleep overs because I knew that their feet were in my bed, I never slept
i have a major phobia of airplanes...i was afraid of them before i even got on one. i got on one to go on a vacation when i was around 12 and since then i just cant get back on one. im beyond terrified of even thinking about getting on one. i have nightmares even at 22 years old of just having to get on a plane. and i know its fairly safe and that thousands of people get on planes every single day, im just terrified of them 😢
Well also the guy tickling her didn't mention that to tickle yourself you have to be scizafrenic ( sorry for my bad spelling )
just for future reference it is "schizophrenic"
ok guess i'm fucking schizophrenic
Everybody knows that you can't tickle yourself no matter how ticklish you are. When you try to tickle yourself your brain is prepared for what comes next, so this is a bad example.
I really want to be a doctor but any time I hear anything about the inside of the human body I get so uncomfortable so hear I am.....
Can anyone help me with megalophobia?
And I have a fear of panic attacks I'm a wreck lately
Jordan Masse PROJECT SAMEE 😭
I have globophobia... Not great when people have parties or when an experiment happens in school😩
Omg that guys phobia about the eggs in his skin is totally valid, that’s nightmare stuff 😭
