From 1.42 - 2.27, that fellow - Ming speaks quite decent English compared to that girl - Janice.... Though Malaysia has its own Malaysia English, but when it comes to a proper discussion, most of the Malaysian will also choose to use more proper accent to speak English... I dont know about Singapore, does anyone mind to tell me?
actually, Malaysia is ranked 11 on the english proficiency. The highest in Asia, Singapore on the 12. Malaysia English(manglish) is actually a whole lot better than Singapore English(singlish).
Even people at the kampung can speak decent English...Our Manglish sounds more English and we often use English words more but with a distinct accent, we sound a mixture between chinese, indian, malay and british accent..
***** Close. Singlish tends to add sound (for lack of a better word) at the end of a sentence i.e. 'meh', 'leh', 'ma' whereas Manglish is usually just broken English with the occasional 'lah' at the end e.g. "Pay 10 bucks for what?" "Cannot go lah"
Wow .I see more racists comments here& talking bad about the gov political issue? I'm sorry haa, I'm Malay but I don't like to being called as Malay cuz I'm a Malaysian. Seriously why are the malaysian still being racist ? We both are totally different race & religion ,but we are united as a true family . "the downstairs, under gostan come back. Can? Good ah, good."
6 year ago. Still gold.
Anyone still watching in 2019?
We got same accent with singapore actually. No doubt. But 1st ranked in Asian followed by SG. Not much different.
^sama je cina india aku jumpa. Campur 2 bahasa . Tadi ckp 'Manglish more like malay' then you spin 360°. No point la derr
exactly 6 years from this video! I'm not Malaysian but I love this country and I'm preparing to move there one day :)
😍❤️
Wow .I see more racists comments here& talking bad about the gov political issue? I'm sorry haa, I'm Malay but I don't like to being called as Malay cuz I'm a Malaysian. Even I'm not really malay &my religion is Islam,my dad's bestfriend are majority chinese, and even I came from chinese school SJKC I see not all chinese are racist &only few teachers became racist of some issue to the malay students. But in reality &fact is I have a foster mother who is my dad's chinese friend ,even I have my both biological parents they treat me like their eldest daughter since they don't have a daughter in their family . Seriously why are the malaysian still being racist ? We both are totally different race & religion ,but we are united as a true family . This is real thing happen in my life ,so I just want to share my story to everyone that not all Malaysian should be racist,we need each other &love not war. :D peace !
