"You can make friends so easily, all you need to do is open your mouth and then you're bffs with everybody. But a lot of times you actually chose not to do that and just keep to yourself which kinda confuses me. I don't know if you're actually a people person or not!"
Honestly i just like communicating with people not making friends if that makes sense.
I understand, it's the same for me, it's easy for us ENFPs to connect to people. But I can't be friends with everyone, cause I would not have the time for everyone, but I would like to.
My friend said to me last week, you have a million acquaintances but only 3 real friends.
I get this. I will talk all evening with someone and by the end of it they feel like we just became best friends and I feel like "That was an interesting evening. Wonder who I'll meet tomorrow" They feel so blown away by the connection but don't realise I connect with everyone. Everyday. ENFP
It's not that I don't have time it's just that I'm picky whom I choose to continue sharing my good energy with. We can get to know each other but if you don't have what I am looking for then acquaintances is as far as we'll go🤷🏾♀️

But like others said, I'm picky. I can do REALLY well flying solo. And it ain't no good to have someone come along who's gonna try to slow me down. You do that for even 1 second and you look over your shoulder and I'll be gone. I need someone who's down for whatever, while simultaneously not putting a damper on what I'm about to go do next.

It has been 3 years since I finished highschool but I’m still depressed.. one time my friends did a party and invited everyone to the party except me, I saw that on Snapchat. After that some girl told me that because of me they cannot talk about meeting up in the group cuz I might see it, and that everyone hates me and wants me to stop hanging out with them. It has been 3 years and I still hurt inside, so much.

Hi (intp intj thing here)! I really like to try to understand people, but it’s hard because I take these sorts of things as I see them generally and if you put up a facade, we’re not going to get anywhere. I find it’s really helpful with my ENFP friends to have a couple of meaningful conversations so that I don’t offend them by misunderstanding them.

As an ENFP, I'm fully in control of my emotions, atleast people around me believe so. I don't express my feelings at all and sometimes I have difficulty in forming sentences because my thoughts run just too fast and I'm always scared that people will perceive me a dumb person.

I think this really clarified for me the difference between INFP and ENFP and I definitely think I'm an ENFP. It's hard because I love writing fiction and studying languages like INFPs do, but I noticed that what sparks my inspiration for wanting to learn a new language or writing a character is my interactions with people. And ENFPs sounds a lot like ambiverts which is probably why I'm always so confused!
Lindsey Your comment solved a lot of my own confusion between the two.. I'm truly fond of learning new languages and I never thought why I love this.. Then you got it. I often have so many amazing online friends from all over the world, I always feel like supporting them and have a better communication with them, loving to understand people and to get understood makes me love learning languages. At the same time I get tired of spending too much time with real-life people and even friends ,that's what made me doubt myself as an INFP, but no, ENFPs also like socializing the least among extroverted types.. So the summary is :we do like people but we need our alone times to recharge from interacting with them, so we would rather keep in touch with people, talk and express our values but from a distance (like online communicating) , this is what an ambivert is, this is ENFP :)

@@klikbate8916 I don't want to get to technical but introversion and extroversion is more than just how you act in social situations, its how you view the world. An extrovert can act introverted sometimes and vice-versa. But when it comes to mbti you are either one or the other. For example i am an ENTP (one of the most introverted extroverts), i used to think i was a INTP however i am an extrovert regardless of whether i feel more introverted some days because my dominant function Extroverted Intuition (same as yours assuming your ENFP and if your INFP its your second function) Extroverted Intuition is trying to create connections in the outside world and therefore i am extroverted. Look at each type and decide whether you think more through personal values introverted feeling (Fi) or seek big picture connections extroverted intuition (Ne) and you will know whether your introverted or introverted in terms of the mbti system. Hope this helps.
@@Prometheus7272 that does make sense, but i still think you can be a mix. Like you can identify as whichever one is dominant, but if you aren't purely one or the other then you're a mix, in my eyes. Another reason i mentioned the percentages is because in the test i took, it gave you percentages

INFP here and I can say ENFPs make the best company around! So fun and exciting to be with. They're great at initiating and holding conversations even if its new to them. A trait I observe however is they can be too sociable in a way that they jump people to people like a tourist and moving on once it's over. It's not bad per se but, in a way, that shows their enthusiasm to the world at large rather than being in a small circle of experience. Does my observation sound accurate?

I feel like we get bored easily and always seek new experiences which comes with new people. I am definitely guilty of that, we just make friends so easily and we’re not good at showing emotions. I guess I got rid of some friendships because I felt misunderstood a lot and I can’t bother with negativity so I just move on to the next great person I can meet :)

A lot of people seek us out.. So sometimes we're just simply being polite & sociable, because people matter... But we're not as "surface" about things, as it might first appear... If we have a genuine connection with you & know you understand or care, then others can't replace that.. We truly value "good people" wherever we find them..
“…jump people to people…”. It’s VERY true. I can walk into a room knowing no one, yet by the time I leave, I’ll have interacted with most or all of them. I have a large acquaintance base. I love having close friends, especially when processing and feeling more introversive. The part about sharing enthusiasm with the world, for me, is that I want to learn from everyone AND have them feel accepted. I’m very much in the moment with most people. If you’re in my immediate space, you get my attention. If you’re far away, I’ll always want to know what you’re up to. But the people near me get most of my attention because talking and sharing face to face is what makes me happiest. If you want to find something good in most anyone, talk with an ENFP - I think we try to find the good like pigs find truffles.

My 3 of my cousins and 2 of my friends are ENFP and everyone Knows and LOVES them! They are the most socially confident people I've ever met. They never judge and they socialize 24/7. They get free meals, go to clubs for free, and borderline famous. ENFPs to me are how people should be and for that have my respect.

Any other ENFP’s usually get stressed at social events with friends because they just want everyone happy and you are so in tune with what each friend likes and dislikes and are constantly worried they aren’t having a good time so you end up not having a good time because you worry to much about the people around you?? 😂😭

pretty accurate, although i don’t identify with the part about hiding feelings... but most ENFPs i talk to say they relate to that.
i have to say i’m getting tired of hearing how ENFPs don’t like routines or rigid structure because of boredom. sure it can get boring, but my biggest problem is when these things get in the way of FUNCTIONALITY. people constantly push THEIR way of doing things onto me, insisting that it is the RIGHT way, without paying attention to the fact that THEIR way doesn’t just not work for me, but actually PREVENTS me from doing things effectively. things like drawing with guidelines, writing with outlines-- those are the first two things to come to mind for me-- don’t work for me. i don’t avoid them due to “boredom” though. there are other things as well, things related to organization mostly, and nobody else can tell me how to do these things effectively because nobody else knows how my mind actually works. xSxJ types might work well with alphabetizing, neat little boxes in straight lines, etc., but i lose efficiency when i copy those systems. it’s hard getting people to understand this (especially SJs in my experience, although that’s to be expected from having opposing functions). it’s also hard not to dig in my heals in those scenarios to the point where they brush me off as being completely disorganized or single-minded though.
broken heartstrings Idk if I'm Enfp or Entp...so take what I say with a grain of salt...but I've come to think of the tedium of someone giving me guidelines to do something as an opportunity to learn an entirely different perspective. I find it an opportunity to grow and add an insight that I never would have thought of on my own. Thus the end result is a refined fusion of my own ideas and the ideas of others... making it that much stronger.

I RELATED SO MUCH TO THE 'GOOD AT MOTIVATING PPL BUT NOT NECESSARILY GOOD AT LEADING AND ORGANIZING PPL' LIKE I STRUGGLED WITH THAT A LOT GROWING UP. PEOPLE WOULD PUT ME IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS AND I WOULDNT DO AN AMAZING JOB AND I KEPT FEELING REALLY DOWN ABOUT IT. It made me feel like ppl thought I was all talk but no action. This video taught me why im not meant to lead. I can't be a kiss up or stay in a routine for too long

Two things this makes me think of~
one is that I wear my heart completely on my sleeve and aren't that private at all, ENFPs (and INFPs) are quite aware of the nuances of our internal states and the extent to which we express that must vary from person to person, but I absolutely love talking about how I feel and what I think whether it's day to day thoughts or my endless spiritual/philosophical ideas, we're people people and the richest conversations can come from sharing the depth of my own feelings and thoughts first
second, often the main thing people first notice is our extroversion and bubbly nature, that along with the fact that we're so damn curious means (at least for me) I tend to ask people so many questions, all of which combined could create the impression that we're naive and clueless which is a shame since we have such great depth and intelligence that in general conversation won't always get a chance to be shared, it's another reason why I so actively express myself since there's just so much I love and resonate with and I don't want it to be lost in small talk
My boss told me that I'm so popular (which I also used to be in uni) in the office because every morning when people come in, they go to my desk and greet me or ask me out for lunch. I told my bestfriend that sometimes I get drained with all the connections that I'm making and that for me, I consider only a few people as my real friends. I just want everyone to get along. She said that I'm very good at making people feel good and at ease and that's why people get drawn to me and that's fine until they make demands of my time which I really cannot afford to give to everyone because I have a lot of things to do (hobbies). And I see myself hanging out with people more if we share the same interest/ passion. Being an ENFP is awesome because we can bring people together but sometime we also feel the need to be alone and re-charge.

A little advice....ENFPs are usually said to have ADHD, you guys are talking while putting up words to be read that go away a bit too quickly to even understand either of the two......the talking or the words... It's so busy with all the video details that it's taking from the point of the video.
Probably the most accurate description of me, I mean ENFP. My desired educational pursuits are in psychology, genetics, and a bit of human evolution, nutrition, sexuality all thrown in.
I'm an Enfp with anxiety, so that might have something to do with it, but I saw some things that kind of contradicted me in here.
1. I don't consider everyone and everything in their best outcome, i have hope and give second and third chances, (you can screw up twice, that's human) but i won't give you a fourth if you cross me or my beliefs in an aggressive manner, that's just irresponsible and cruel to myself.
2. I don't have trouble talking about something i consider a problem unless it directly affects me in an extreme way (i.e.; i can tell you that i'm feeling anxious and depressed, but i can't tell you that I've been feeling a lot of pain in my right abdomen, because then i'm having to address a serious issue that takes me places i don't understand in a terrifying way.
3. I do not appear as a happy adhd puppy, literally no one has said that about me since i was nine years old, I'm mostly quiet and reserved, but i can completely explode in several emotional ways if i'm overwhelmed in a workspace or friendship.
4. I do not have any sort of problem with structured by-the-book workspaces, i may have a hard time keeping track of all the rules, or may be overwhelmed with a workload of too many things i piled up for myself, but i never feel issues with expressing creativity.
I love being an enfp although it’s difficult at times.

That's not true, I find that we are fiercely loyal to people. Thing that would put off an ENFP is if you stopped growing as a person or as a couple, but that's just a personal experience
We are not afraid of settling down, but what we are really looking for is real and deep connection. If you have that with your ENFP partner, he/she will be using their imagination in the relationship as opposed to being wondering about other people and they will do everything they can to continue in the relationship.

When I first started taking MBTI tests about 2 months ago, I got typed as an INFJ multiple times. I’ve been through a lot of social changes lately though and discovered myself more, so I took the test again about a month ago and got typed as an INFP. It still felt a little off somehow, even though it described me pretty accurately. About 2 weeks ago I got typed as ENFP from a couple of tests. I decided to look more into the cognitive functions since I learned any online test probably isn’t very accurate, and god . . . NeFi describes me PERFECTLY. can’t wait to learn more about it.

Growing up I thought there was something wrong with me... Now I have accepted this is me and I'm proud of it! Only question I have is.... I am always wanting to IMPROVE myself and into learning constantly.... I love sharing what I learn too... I just did a personality test for the first time, and it's crazy how accurate this is 😊 I never expected it to be an 95% match!
