@@MotoMission. The Spur is all Pavement from Nags Head NC to just the other side of the James River in VA. Great back roads and a fun drive. My son used the Roll Chart and maps provided from the TAT website. Gaia GPS app was of great help too. He did awesome with directions!
After the James river we had some good gravel roads here and there till we got into George Washington National park where it got really good and knarly. Saw a eastern Diamond back snake and 3 bears and lots of other wildlife. The last part of the Spur it the most fun for sure. Lost a lower shock bolt and found a bolt in Hot Springs VA and we were able to fix it. Weather was way cooler in the Shenandoah than the outer banks this time of year. Hope to do some more TAT and the Smokey Mountain 500 and 1000 in the near future. Cheers and keep up the great videos!

I just bought my first bike ever last week and it's a dual sport. I'm super stoked to take a trip like this once I've learned to ride. I really enjoyed watching all of your videos on the smokey mountain 500. I subscribed to check out some of your other adventures as well. One question for you- could a 4 wheeler complete the smokey mountain 500? I live in GA and I'm wondering if my wife could join us on the trip using a 4 wheeler. Thanks for your help!

4 wheelers not allowed. Must be street legal on those roads out there. And there is some pavement sections.
