Hey man love the progress videos i just tore my acl and meniscus surgery in 2 weeks i was wondering what type of brace that is and did u buy it or do they give you one after surgery? Keep up the good work man

Thanks bro! Good luck with surgery and recovery!💪
Not sure the exact name but its a more functional brace used for agility/sport work so the knee doesn't shift and you don't risk anything with the knee still in recovery. They actually gave it to me in one of my doctor visits before my surgery and I wore it then too because my knee was very unstable after the injury. So, no I did not have to buy it. Right after surgery, however, I had to wear a much more serious full leg brace for about a month to keep my leg fully straight at first and then the physical therapists adjusted the degrees in which I could bend my knee in progression.
Let me know if you have any other questions or need any advice. You got this man.

      You got this bro💪
The younger you are getting the surgery, the better. My knee is feeling a lot better. Still feels kinda weird/stiff at times but the physical therapists say this is totally normal. It is also different for everyone.

After your first consult at the ortho how many days after did you get your surgery?

About a month later. I got my MRI a week or two later and my knee was too swollen for surgery. I had to wait about a month for swelling to go down and to do pre-surgery physical therapy.

@@iamolegsavka thanks for the feedback I tore my acl and partial meniscal tear about three weeks ago. Seeing the ortho next Thursday, I swear it always when you feel you’re playing your best football, anyways cut my upsl season short and college season for the year. Will be back 💪

@@itdontmatterbro To be more specific - I tore my ACL July 7th and had surgery August 18th. So it was about a month and a half from the injury.

@@iamolegsavka I’m hoping for the same as well. If I could get the surgery in 2-3 weeks that would be ideal, thanks for the info! I will be starting a channel since I have a lot more free time now🙏🏽I’ll be hoping to see you back in action soon as well🤝
