- How To Correctly Align Words and Audio in Descript: Step-by-step Guide
This video guide provides solutions for a common problem faced by Descript users, i.e., misalignment of words and audio. I explain how the transcription engine sometimes mismatches the transcribed words and the audio waveform, resulting in missing words or unsynchronised words and audio.
I explain three different methods to correct this problem, discussing how to use Descript’s automatic alignment feature, how to manually add missing words, and how to accurately align specific words to their audio manually.

Descript is practically unusable sometimes due to how poorly it's transcribed :( I think this will help, thank you.

anyone has this bug you can't move or drag the words into the exact start of the audio Ctrl+drag doesn't work.
Make sure you don’t have cuts. You can’t drag word boundaries across cuts
Realy fighting withg it couple of days... coz didnt working, and now it works, wtf
