- Here are the two setups with dynomax that I’ve tried. Started with just swapping the mid mufflers out with the dynomax 24250 mini race bullets. Was quite happy with the dual set up but didn’t care for the higher rpm rasp. Heard that the quad set up sounded cleaner so I swapped out my rear resonators with the dynomax 24250 mini bullets aswell. I’m much happier with the sound. Made it a little deeper tone and no more rasp and no drone! Definitely recommend the quad dynomax setup.
I want mine loud AF! When I fire it up, I want the neighbors 2 blocks away to hear it! Currently have long tube headers and Flowmaster outlaws. Just bought two bullets to have installed. Every video I've listened to, the duel sounds the best. I have some drone now, who care though, it's a muscle car! I daily drive it during the warm months, never gets old dropping a couple gears and letting it eat!
This does it for me! I'm going with the quad bullets! 2 sounds superb but 4 is insane!
Yeah the quads are quite nice! Especially with the active exhaust.
I just ordered 2 more today...By the end of the week I'll have 4bullets with quad tips installed. I gots to wake up the beast!!

Quads are definitely deeper sounding, but the Duals are more of the sound that I have in my head. If you get less drone with the Quads I would go that way. Awesome, either way...!
Yeah I did like the aggressiveness of the duals. Makes me wanna try them again with the new 3” system and new X-Pipe
@@MattsMoparMadness I didn't want to say anything, but I don't care for prestamped X-pipes.
I think the sound would improve further with one that is mandrel-bent.
@@FiveBoroNative yeah I plan on getting a better X-pipe and maybe even re do the system in stainless later. The x-pipe cost me like $32 tho lol. It was definitely a move in the right direction.

I am listening with my PC with a set of decent speakers and subwoofer. Seems like the quads are deeper and go lower with a little less rasp in all except the very last clip. Do you have your dampers Locked open? I have the same bullets but with MFER's holding mine wide open all the time but still have the rear mufflers still in place. I was thinking about doing the same thing when I add Carbon Fiber Quad tips.
Yes your correct. The quad setup does sound deeper with less rasp. I believe in both interior videos I had sport mode on. I do still get some rasp in the higher rpm’s. Definitely less than the dual setup. The exhaust valves do also take out some rasp when sport mode is off. I still have my active exhaust valves working normally
I was going to do the mid muffler delete and swapping with the race bullets but I want to swap the stock exhaust tips with quads and Im aware I have to do a resonator delete. So, I'm wondering if I can swap the rear resonators with a set of race bullets and can have the quad tips too.
Yes that will work. I also plan on doing quad tips but for the time being I just cut the stock tips off the resonators and welded them onto the bullets. The bullets I used were a few inches shorter than the resonators so it leaves lots of room for the longer quad tips.
Dual is more aggressive at lower RPMS, but the Quads provide less drown at lower RPMS from what I’m hearing. I would prefer less drone.
I agree. Also happy that the quad set up took the high end raspyness away.
@RT Madness swapping the rear resonators did take down the raspyness for sure. I like it a lot more than just the duals. It lowered the tone slightly also. It is still a touch raspy for my liking so I plan on trying a longer bullet(maybe 16” long) in place of the 6” mini bullets that I swapped with the mids and see if I like it.

Yeah I have since switch it up and built my own 3” cat back. Check it out if you’d like I’ve got a video on my channel. It’s much more of the sound I was looking for. But there is a lot more to come. Cam, headers etc lol
I have duals on my scat shaker and it’s perfect 👍🏼

@@MattsMoparMadness I honestly don’t remember haha but it pops and crackles when I downshift and it’s got a nice throatie sound on throttle!

Ha yeah I didn’t care for that part either lol. It’s gone now that I have long tube headers
