- For those asking for more specifics, I had the stock mufflers removed, and replaced with Dynomax Race Bullets. I had the Resonators removed. I had them weld on the quad tips. And here are links to the exact products I bought, on Amazon: Dynomax Race Bullet 24250 Exhaust Resonator a.co/d/fIubBxq

(update....I can not state clearly enough how this video does no justice. I am not one to want mine to sound better than yours. Just better than Mustangs, Camaros, and rice burners. We are a family, and if you can trust me, this was the least expensive, easiest route to taking your exhaust to an amazing level, without it sounding obnoxious or like you just went straight pipe to annoy your neighbors. The sound alone has caused challenges to back off "no thanks, I can tell that thing is seriously modified, you'd whip me". I heard that from an owner of a new Corvette. When you start it in a parking lot, every real man, and even some women, will turn and look. I had a hot young black girl flirting with me at a gas pump, and it started when I fired up my car. And I'm a 53 year old white dude. I researched, and researched, and watched so many videos before deciding on this set up. Of course you can do all kind ofs things, but for those looking for some easy to follow advice, you'll see. You won't regret it. I'll make a follow up video later maybe using a different camera, or cameras to try to capture it better.
Conclusion....
Installing the Dynonmax Race Bullets,
eliminating the resonators,
and installing the quad tips was worth it.
It was the balance I hoped for,
after much research and video watching.
However, it is a win/win situation
with the newer Dodge Challenger v8 models
because they simply have some of
the best stock exhaust on the road.
If it's not in your budget,
you will still have that amazing HEMI rumble.
The upgrades that I made were most appreciated
when revving the engine,
or stomping the gas.
It has that old school race car shriek.
That Godzilla Roar.
But the start up, and idling was a
little beefier as well. The Lion purr.
I was concerned about it being too loud,
but was very satisfied with the improvement.
No droning concerns, and not so loud you feel
like the obnoxious neighbor.
MOPAR OR NO CAR....
i’m going with this exact same setup he’s correct this is the cheapest and one of the best exhaust setups for less than $200 for parts not including labor at a shop
Very nice my guy! Let that HEMI breathe! 👏🏿 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I like when I start it up parked downtown, and all of the people dining nearby turn and look.
@@Rob-dp3vr gotta let em know! 😄 nice look Chally!
5 months later, what happens is they settle in and build up some carbon, just making it sound beefier and more consistent. I truly think I found the right balance. For anyone thinking of what to do, afraid to go too loud, popping, too quiet, not enough, etc, consider the steps I took. Unfortunately my phone has noise reduction when recording, so the video didn't really do it justice. But when I accelerate, even if I'm not trying to go too fast, it just has a head turning roar. I get thumbs ups out windows often, just for the sound, when I'm not even really pushing it. It doesn't have that cheap rasp or snapping and popping like you hear when someone tries to make a v6 sound tough, or even when someone just eliminates the mufflers and resonators on a v8. This sounds meant to be. Of course I'm biased, but I want other Challenger owners to sound badass too, and represent. I've said before that in 2 situations, someone I raced a little, and left behind, pulled up to say they knew I'd beat them because "I can tell you have some engine mods in that thing". And I don't. Just cold air intake. But the sound is so beast like, yet professional, they assumed I had more done. Great. If it makes people back away, that's better for me.
I had a straight piped and I put a dyno bullet as my res sounds so much beefy and less drone but sounds a bit quiter Your sayin it might get lil sounder ?
Did you delete your resonators too?
You can go the extra step on zip-tying the active exhaust so it will be always on the max open position. I did it on my 21 Challenger SP - 3 yrs and its still intact
Mid muffler is the best sound and I just bought a 22 challenger shaker I think that's the best spec for a challenger but nice car
Dynomax MRB so underrated
So just to clarify, the mid muffler was replaced with Race Bullets (6"?), and the resonators at the end were removed plus new tips?
Yes

did you just swap them out? i saw the RT had a 2.5 inch pipe diameter, but the 24250’s had a 3 inch diameter. did you run into any problems with that or were you able to just swap them out with no problem
what I bought welded on no problem, no coupling or reducer. It's crazy, because the sound just gets better. I can't stress how this video does it no justice. And when it sits, it gets even beefier. Not louder, just better. I went away fro ma 2 week cruise. Came back and started it up, and it growled like never before.
Was the Dynomax exhaust welded or clamped? I’m thinking about doing the same setup as yours
I had it welded. The shop charged me the same as if clamped. I had actually bought the clamps and didn't have them use them.
Love this sound and have been doing sun homework before I buy. I bought a scat pack wide body challenger in January. With all the bells and whistles of warranty I could get. Car has the 392 6.2? - 6.4 hemi … have you heard ur set up on that motor? Love your sound and look👊😎
My brother has a wide body scat with the bullets and resonator delete and it sounds amazing. I have 5.7 with this same set up minus the quads (that’s my next purchase) I love the sound.
Any drone ? I’m currently running super 10’s and wanna make the switch. Just not sure if it’s gonna be better than my current setup
No drone. I am starting to think people worry too much about that. Unless they just take mufflers and resonators off. Maybe that drone is bad. But mine purrs like a Lion. The video doesn't even do it justice because my phone has noise reduction. When I remote start in a parking lot, all the men turn and look to see what it is. Twice I have had guys assume I had major motor modifications, because of the sound. All I have done is cold air intake.
How does it sound in sport mode under soft accel and cruze? Because i have a 22 R/T that i stuck the valvs open on and wanna do this to but am curious about the low RPM noise level?
who did your exhaust work, and where did you get those halo's?

True dual exhaust?
The RT Plus comes with the same dual exhaust as the Hellcat. But with Dual tips. I replaced them and put quad tips.
What’s the number on the bullets that you got? 👍🏾 sounds great
Here are the exact ones I bought. And removed the resonators.

Just get to the point already
You can end the video any time you want. You just close the video. I can try to draw an explanation in crayon for you or any other illiterate ADHD Ritalin gobbling retards if you'd like. Or, you can just end the video like the intelligent adults do.
