Just back from a Tour of Skye, nursing my wounds from the midges and your vid has cheered me up no end. Thanks Richy. The Vida VFRmy will be a force to be reckoned with ...............
Make that 31 VFR's Richy; I've just bought myself a new white one 👍🏻 Should have done it a long time ago. Great channel by the way. It also never ceases to amaze me, how people who are into bikes, are also into their music; that seem to go hand in hand.
And mine! I got mine after watching your channel for about a year, topped off by your tour of the lakes with the latest version. I even bought the same colour and model with the panniers.
i picked up a 2008 VFR800 with 4200 miles. My first one. From watching your channel I finally sat on one and test drove it. Instantly fell in love! Thanks Richy keep up the great videos. im in the states on the New Jersey coast.
Cool video again Richy, when I come over that way from Peterborough I always ride through Edale, up the road to Mam Tor, and through Winats Pass ….. beautiful place to be !!
Just bought a new VFR 800, it has also black frame and are candy red too, gold wheels, only 5300 miles in all too, 2013 mod, last one of the 6 gen, love the VFR too Richy :)
Three weeks ago i picked up a 2009 -Black, Seargent seat, two brother complete exhaust. 8500 miles. 3000.00 I love this bike. Hope yours has served you well.
I also bought my first bike ever because of your trips Richy. All winter long every night watching and watching and finally - 5 th gen :) love it mate! Cheerz!
Richy, Love the videos that you and the guys put together. The places, the views, the lads and most importantly the bikes make for great content. I must admit I was considering a VFR but after watching your videos and listening the your love for them I had to go for a test ride. I went out for a couple of hours whilst mine was being serviced and was converted. The VFR sounds amazing and feels so planted even at slow speeds, for me it's a tourer until you want to unleash it at which point it's a sports bike. Needless to say I found any excuse to hit 7000 rpm to release the VTec. So I went back to the dealer and ended up buying it. I am the proud owner of a 2014 black Honda VFR800. Part of that is down to you. Cheers buddy, DD
At 9:01 elapsed time. Funny comment. "You're gonna be right at some point, Rich." Just like a broken clock is right two times a day. And a beautiful day for a ride too.
"If you don't want to spend any money don't watch my channel." That is so true after I got my VFR I came across your channel, next thing I know I got some panniers and I'm planning a trip from Virginia USA to Niagara falls, Canada. I can only hope my trip is as fun as the ones you and your friends have.
Because of your wonderful videos, i did indeed get a Ghost-S myself! I think you should make a list of all the people you've influenced to join the VFR family (no matter what generation).
Thumbs Up Richie 👍another great vid buddy good to see Gazza out with you and Egone some nice roads also good to see Jesus Jason and his pal join the VFR club couple of beauties there well done boys think I'll give them a thumbs up too 👍
Just realised why the temp went up 10 degrees when the bike was parked, it's because the sensor is in the airbox and when parked the air inside the box is being warmed up continually, I haven't been thinking about this for over a year, but it did come to me tonight as I watched this vid for umpteenth time, BUT only because I was doing the flapper mod today., love re-watching all your vids, just getting better as time goes on, fave so far?.......the mountain path in Los Picos, " We''ll just push on!" lol
I'ma 170,00 miles into my current one, I would NEVER sell it! Well done for dispelling the myth that they're old mans bikes. Dr from it and one of th egreatest ever! Nice one mate
I bought an 04 plate vtec with 10k on the clock 12 months ago inspired by your channel. I used to have a 2001 vfr800fi which I loved but parted with following marriage. Let me know if you venture down to the New Forest.
👌 Bit heartbreakin seeing the summer and a lockdown free world but a nice little safety valve 😉 Nice to see a "flock" (??) of VFRs. Tell 'em all well done, you've got the 2nd best classic touring bike in the world 😁😆🤗
Ok one vlogger to another (truck vlogger) what kit you using? The headsets you are using sound cracking mate. I`m now on the hero 5 great bit of kit but very poor battery life.
+fastasfox we use Scala Rider G9's for comms. I use Drift Ghost S cameras, and also a Hero4 Black - yup, GoPro battery life is shocking. Mega image, but not near enough battery life. The Ghost S is 3-3.5hrs
VFR fever! I still look at them ALL the time on ebay but I'm still having so much fun with my Hornet! You up near the Caves at Castleton at the end there? There was a few gliders out on Saturday when we went to the caves
Yo, mate i was watching your video for the først time yesterday, NOV 27, and to day i bought my self A VFR 800 2008 mod. Looking forward for the Norwegian vinter to END in late april, :( great videos ;)
Richy, your videos are really bbeautiful and calming and the friends that you have are all awesome and I have been watching your videos of road trips and all and I don't know what it is,but these videos are just so perfect and I have watched your videos back in 2013 I suppose I'm not sure ...cheers mate, ride safe...upload more videos btw those vfr's are sexy...and you have earned yourself a subscriber from India ;)
The white and black is gorgeous, very classy! Am I able to buy the Wildbad Touring stickers?(not at £10.50 each lol) or are they just for members only?
"Can you hear me?", "yeah, say something....".......silence...... - classic! You're wrong saying the vfr hasn't changed by the way - it used to be gear driven cams back when it had character ;-). I've owned both the last of the gear driven ones and the v-tec ones. Great bikes, but every iteration seemed to get heavier (don't know about the latest), and I always wished it was 1000cc with a bit more hp. Still, I've been all around Europe on one just like Richie's, never missed a beat (except for a scary moment with the immobilizer remote on an Italian mountain side), so still a classic in my mind.
yeah you're right thinking about it. Maybe it's an age thing, being someone who still gets the horn whenever he sees an RC30 or RC45! A friend of mine used to have an early 90s 750f. btw, love the vids. I'm doing grossknockler (again) this year and stelvio for the first time (it was closed last time I went) in a weeks time. I'm even considering going back to facebook to keep up with your ride outs as I'd love to join you one day. As long as former viffer owners are still allowed!
I was just thinking about your tour in the USA, If it's going to be anytime between now & October it's going to be too HOT to Tent Camp 80- 90* Fahrenheit @ night. Motel rooms cost $55.00 -$80.00 + +, per night ,should have two beds in room for that cost. You might not need to bring your camping gear . I know folks have offered you to stay @ their houses. Inside or outside? (Just a Concern FAN)
I thought you went into bike sales haha? was going to say good luck I'll say it anyway but ride safe you and the lads and hope you like being a dad now?
Bought myself 03reg red VFR as ma first bike. Never drove it yet cos just passed ma theory test for cat A.but the vfr is waiting for me in the garage and can't wait to drive it!!
Blimey Rich, how come Honda haven't signed you up yet? They need to get you on the latest model VFR for a review/recommendation. 30 odd VFR's sold just because of your self indulgent videos!!
Just a point to consider - I don't think it's good to read the road for a following rider and tell them it's 'clear' to overtake. Each rider should make that decision based on what they see ahead of them. The occupants of the cars see a bike overtake them and they see a blind corner, and in their view an unsafe manoeuvre. If at any point they have to describe what they saw to the police etc, it would not look good.. Just my observation on it.
Just back from a Tour of Skye, nursing my wounds from the midges and your vid has cheered me up no end. Thanks Richy.
The Vida VFRmy will be a force to be reckoned with ...............
2003 Red VFR800 VTEC! Love it and absolutely love watching the tour vids.
Make that 31 VFR's Richy; I've just bought myself a new white one 👍🏻 Should have done it a long time ago.
Great channel by the way. It also never ceases to amaze me, how people who are into bikes, are also into their music; that seem to go hand in hand.
Thanks for the tour Richy, what a beautiful country!
Possibly the most sexiest bike ever, purrs like a kitten and roars like a lion. God, I love the VFR! VROOOM!!
And mine! I got mine after watching your channel for about a year, topped off by your tour of the lakes with the latest version. I even bought the same colour and model with the panniers.

Awesome, Michael! Wow, like a brand new one almost! Which colour did you go for?
Looking at a 2003 vfr800 rite now, "Looks like a fun bike" I still need my adrenalin rush, hope this bike can still give me that. Thanks for sharing!
Cool video again Richy, when I come over that way from Peterborough I always ride through Edale, up the road to Mam Tor, and through Winats Pass ….. beautiful place to be !!

VFR fever! I still look at them ALL the time on ebay but I'm still having so much fun with my Hornet!
You up near the Caves at Castleton at the end there? There was a few gliders out on Saturday when we went to the caves

"Can you hear me?", "yeah, say something....".......silence...... - classic!
You're wrong saying the vfr hasn't changed by the way - it used to be gear driven cams back when it had character ;-). I've owned both the last of the gear driven ones and the v-tec ones. +happylemon666 I think he meant the Gen6 hasn't changed. Still not had the pleasure of riding a Gen5 yet.
yeah you're right thinking about it.

The White VFR is very smart...

hi Richy you have another 2 vfr's to the collection if you fancy a ride out wiv me and my pal drop me a line, honda should be paying you! 😋
What was the issue with your bike in the end Rich ??
Poorly stator mate. Sorted now ;-)
Bet you're glad mate. Why was the bike running rough when they gave it back, I bloody hate main dealers, don't have any faith in them.
That's a story for another time! Grrr
So they f*cked up then lol
how do you mean "bought from your channel" ?
+toorest trikie ok I should have said 'due to my channel' not 'from my channel' I don't have an online shop of VFR's or anything haha
I thought you went into bike sales haha? was going to say good luck I'll say it anyway but ride safe you and the lads and hope you like being a dad now?
Who the hell would dislike this? Moron, fantastic video as always. I love my VFR! Take care :D
Cheers! ;-)
I was just going to type the same comment...1 DISLIKE??? Bellends...ha
Luv the vids Rich
It's so childish and fueled by HUGE jealousy, take it as a compliment Richy :)
hi m8 where was the place you stopped with the view ......?😎
With all the hang gliders? That is in Edale, nr Castleton. The other side of Mam Tor.
+RichyVida cheers wasn't sure Ps the food in the snake pass in is good (big portions ) lol😆
yeah that looks like a great stop
Cool, thanks. Will remember that. Although, I do like to watch my figure, so don't really have a major appetite! ;-)
Bought myself 03reg red VFR as ma first bike. Never drove it yet cos just passed ma theory test for cat A.but the vfr is waiting for me in the garage and can't wait to drive it!!
Still tucking your jeans in your boots I see ;-), but vids still good to watch.......
Blimey Rich, how come Honda haven't signed you up yet? They need to get you on the latest model VFR for a review/recommendation. 30 odd VFR's sold just because of your self indulgent videos!!

Their explanation wouldn’t look good. I agree. But my visual evidence, would. 👍totally clear, totally safe.
isee te editing went wrong , given that you have repeated parts of the video in different areas
Guess I gotta shave my head.
Your channel sold another VFR 800 September 2023!
Mega! 🙌
poor Egone always being picked on,Egone Egone Egone
He loves it ;-)
I know Richy lol,
