FormIt is an amazing app illustrators can use in the early stages of developing scenes.
But some aspects of the interface might be confusing. I made this video to help you get the most from the app as early as possible. Autodesk did not sponsor the video. I just wanted to introduce you to this wonderfully useful tool.
If you've ever used SketchUp for quick 3-D blocking-in of ideas, you'll love using FormIt, 'cause it's free!

Hi, for easily duplicate an object, just select the object and move it with two fingers at the same time (in parallel). Thank you for nice and funny tutorial, I had good time with it!

Thanks for commenting! I used to use Sketchup for that exact thing. I always use my room as a learning exercise to test out these modeling apps. And I would still be using Sketchup now except it's too expensive. When I searched for a free alternative I discovered FormIt and after learning to use it I can't believe how much better it is. Good luck on modeling your room!
