Bucky O'Hare is a real technical and artistic achievement on the NES, and providing the difficulty level doesn't blow you away, the fantastic gameplay surely will.
It truly is a fantastic game! Great Soundtrack, Graphics, Gameplay, Control... But *DAMN* ,it isn't afraid to kick your ass a lot! If only it was on the _NES Classic_ , That'd be amazing!
One of the best games I`ve ever played. Fun, excellent music, good graphics, awesome and chellenging difficulty, playability, this game has EVERYTHING. Aaah the good ole days.
I remember playing this game in 1992 when it came out. And I enjoyed it very much. But sadly I could never beat it. This is a pretty tough and brutal game with its level of difficulty. But its awesome to see someone else beat it so I can see the ending.
Why don't you give it it a shot with some emulator and quick save/quick load option? I finished a lot of games that way which seemed impossible to be beaten when I was a kid😊
A difficult, but fair game, thanks to unlimited continues, and plentiful checkpoints throughout the levels that ensure you never have to start far from where you died. This is one of the great NES games that found an audience years later. Again, it just shows how much care Konami put into almost all of their licenses. Fantastic graphics that almost seem to defy the hardware, especially how there is really no major slowdown even when there are multiple objects on the screen, and a fantastic soundtrack.

15:03 Same thing, they made the illusion of rotating graphics. I think it's on the BG layer? (since it has more than 8 8x8/8x16 sprite pieces per scanlines)
The other thing that is amazing is how the ball that machine fires bounces and looks as if it actually has weight. I still think the first section of that stage outdoors and the 4th section of the ice planet 7:51 as well as the 1st section of the yellow planet have some amazing scrolling, they actually it look like there are 3 layers in the background

That *OTHER* awesome space crew of anthropomorphic animals and that _other_ awesome green rabbit from the 90s star in this amazing NES platformer!!
