Hello everyone. Hope you all enjoy listening to my story. Check out my socials or my other UA-cam videos for the rest of my story and life 🥰
Hello. I hope your doing okay. So much going on with the covid 19. Take care
Thank you im good. Hope you are too
You are tough. You did more than survive...you are living an inspirational life. And I am a fan.
@@IsabelleWeall Thats good. And I'm good. Wait I saw the video, but how did this all start? I know you were showing symptoms. And I just want to say you are a warrior, you are such a strong person. 🙏✊
У нас в России(и в большей части бывшего СССР) такие люди за короткое время умирают в государственных приютах(интернаты) для инвалидов, в ужасных условиях. И от них сразу же отказываются родители, сразу после рождения.
Thank goodness your parents called the ambulance when they did instead of trying to let you sleep it off. That would have been very bad.
When you were in year six I was in year two and I remember you helped me on the adventure trail with your prothsetics
Fern Whitehurst are you in year 7 now? x
Katie is sleepy 💤
Dj _t ok?
@@x0katiexo00 no Fern Whitehurst would be in year 9 now
Lucy W when fern whitehurst was in year two it would’ve been 2013/2014 I was in year two a the same time x
Think of the things you have done and accomplished in last decade. You are a beautiful girl and an inspiration. I am glad you survived. Be Well and have a great life.
Thank you so much ☺️
💕💕💕
I had bacterial meningitis when I was 18 years everything about that day still haunts me how I remember slipping in and out of consciousness and then like you my memory just going everything you described was so a like of my experience! I was in an induced coma for 2 weeks I was very fortunate that I didn’t lose my limbs or have any lasting side effects but mentally made me appreciate life going forward more. Thanks for sharing your story.
they couldnt save her legs and hands??
🤔🤔
@@fullmoonmicuki0014 unfortunately not, if meningitis isn’t treated immediately it can begin to kill your limbs, starting with fingers and toes. The bacteria spreads and as it spreads it kills more cells, meaning that they have to amputate more than is dead in order to stop it spreading

Im a pediatric resisdent and I swear I haven't seen any kid as brave as u. Having to go through things like this at young age and recover to be the person u are today is inspiring. U are strong and keep inspiring people. U are meant for so many more great things and u will surely achieve them. ❤️❤️
Thank you so much 😊

I had Meningitis 2 weeks befor lockdown I’m so thankful that I have no longlasting affects apart from losing a lot of weight.
I was in for hospital a week and it took me a long time to fully recover. But I’m all good now xx
So glad to hear u r ok
It's the weight loss plan nobody wants. I went down a dress size in two weeks because of meningitis, though it all went back on when I was better unfortunately.
I got Meningitis when I was 7 too! I had viral meningitis as well as encephalitis and was on life support for a very long time! This was back in 2003. I’m 25 now and am grateful to be alive everyday as I was extremely close to dying. Glad you’re ok xx
I'm grateful you're alive, too!
I have Eleplisy after having viral meningitis..
are you an amputee as well ?
Meningitis strikes a cord with me because my friend got it and died last year, so its nice to see someone who has survived the disease telling her story
So sorry ❤
Someone in my brothers year caught Meningitis when she was 7. She had Meningococol Septicimia. Dont think i spelled that tight. She had to have both legs amputated. One above and one below the knee. Shenow drives a car. So thankyou for this its exactly the same as her
Such a powerful story! As a future nurse this was so insightful. Good for you for being so positive and strong!
Amen
meningitis symptoms and effects of it is super scary; so glad you survived.
There are lots of different pathogens that can cause meningitis -- some of them viral and some bacterial. I read of a lady in Australia who got a form of meningitis from pigeon poo and lost both her sight and her hearing. I also remember reading of a girl who grew up in Ethiopia and got meningitis when she was about 5, and also lost her sight. She's now a well-known human rights lawyer who gives speeches around the world and says that if she hadn't gone blind, she'd have been married off to some guy in the village at age 14, but as she was no use to anyone, they let her go to school instead.
This is a reply.
I found this really interesting . I had Meningitis (idk what like type) when I was 6 weeks old . I was a tiny baby’s and no one thought I would make it but I was so lucky that my parents caught it super quickly . The Problem they had was as 6 weeks old I couldn’t talk or tell that what was wrong. I was so lucky that my parents noticed something was wrong and got me to the doctors and then the hospital which meant it wasn’t as serious as your as it was caught early . Really moved by your story! U r so strong.sending u lots of love
Listening to your story made me think of the stress, pain, worry, depression, despair your parents must have gone through and how strong they had to be . ps You look as beautiful as ever.
Thank you
💕
Can't imagine how stressful it was for you and your family...
Probably for them. I think I was quite unaware 😂
For sure, the worst nightmare and horror
of their lives.
@@IsabelleWeall better that way ❤️🙏🏻 you went through so so much.
I’m so glad they put you under for your bandage changes. Last August my doctor had to remove a large section of my armpit and leave it open before skin grafting it. It was 17cm by 12cm and the bandage changes were horrible because they have to freshen them up. My surgery was nothing compared to what you went through and I’m a 25 year old and my bandage changes made me scream noises I didn’t know humans made. Being under anesthesia for you was merciful in the midst of a really crappy time. Your resilience and cheerful attitude is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your strength!
do you by any chance had to get the skin removed because of Hidradenitis suppurativa? because that's why I needed a skin graft and it was so painful.
my dad had 2nd-3rd degree burns from a cooking oil/water pan fire to a large parts of his body and he's 73, really pretty fit, but he said the bandage changing was the ~worst~ pain he's ever haf. It sounds so painful, im so sorry you had to go through that!
@@lokilaufeyson3205 I’m so sorry I didn’t see this until now. Yes was because of hs. I hope you’re doing well!
@@sadmermaid I’m sorry for your dad. The pain is horrible and doctors really don’t prepare you for it. I hope your dad is doing well.
@@Aubz47 thank you, yes he is, he got lucky with 3rd degree because the skin is just so far gone that there is less pain, which is something I never knew. He's had plastics done now and he got very lucky :) I hope youre doing good too, this entire comment section is actually really nice, def passes the vibe check.
My mom went through something similar, meningitis, seizure (in the middle of a blizzard), fell into a coma... When ever we are sick, she will always ask us to press our chin into our chest to test for neck stiffness to check for meningitis.
She's nearing her 60's now. It's incredible she survived and had no lasting injuries.
My boyfriend’s cousin had meningitis and is having brain surgery next week to remove the tumor on his brain and to put a chunk of his scull back on. He was in a coma because he brain was swollen. he is doing better now but if he brain swells again, he will have a prosthetic chunk on my scull.
How is he now? I hope he is fine
You’ve recovered so well emotionally, it seems, I’m wondering if you’ve every volunteered at hospitals working with children who’ve gone through a recent amputation? I’d think you’d be fantastic at helping children realize that they’ll ultimately be ok.
What a great suggestion ❤ 🤍 💙 🧡 🖤 ♥️ ❤ 🤍 💙
I wish you wouldn’t say it’s disgusting all the time! Literally every part of your story is amazing and you’re so strong so beautiful! I’m so glad you’re happy and well done for kicking meningitis ass !!
I love your personality so much. You seem like such a kind, genuine person and I wish I knew you irl. I’m so happy for you know and I’m glad you chose to share your story!! Your humor and everything is wonderful and I’m so glad you were able to heal from meningitis and become the strong angel you are today!! ❤️
I appreciate this "remake" of the other video, very helpful!
Oh my goodness you are so brave, I cannot even imagine what this would have been like. Definitely will be following you! Thank you youtube recommendations!!!
Thanks for sharing this! You are so brave. My housemate died a few months ago from men B during my final year of university, it’s just awful, it all happened so quick and it’s so important that everyone learns the symptoms ❤️
June 29th girl power❤️ I’m turning 21 and I cant imagine what youve been through. You are AMAZING and so strong I hope u know it :)
Your positivity is so inspiring!
amazing! This video hits hard, I had Meningitis when I was 4 months old the same as you strain as you! 20 years later and it still effects me, ur inspiring x
At 7 years old you were the among the toughest of fighters. Todays happy and heathy life was well earned..
Thank you so much 😊
This is so scary. Doctors are so amazing. I'm so glad you're okay now because you're inspiring. Since you're in year 12, I think, we're the same age and year group so I can imagine how difficult it would be to adapt to changes so young.
exactly, the nhs is freaking amazing
Yes the NHS are amazing and worked so well on me
Hey Izzy, thank you for sharing your story and for remembering about emetophobia trigger warning, most people don't ❤
You are amazing and so inspiring. I had pneumonia when i was in year 1 so i can agree that the NHS is absolutely incredible. I know what it is like to have a feeding tube and see other patients getting discharged while you have to stay in hospital. You are so strong and brave. i hope you are well and staying safe ❤❤❤❤
This was literally the very first video of yours I watched!! Well, the one from awhile ago! I’m so glad I got to listen to your story! Thank you for sharing I love you! You’re so inspirational 🥰🥰
My girlfriend had it when she was in University. Exactly the same, started feel like crap when she came to visit her parents. If it wasn't for her dad pestering her mum to take her to hospital, she would have died. Her mum kept saying she'll be ok, it's just a cold. But her dad had a bad feeling about it.
i am very glad you shared your story i love hearing different peoples story and i liked that you mentioned not to pity you as i know being physically disabled myself what it feels like when people pity you like you can't have an amazing life with a disablity
This is literally one of my biggest fears because situations where I can't control what's happening to me make me so anxious. You're so strong
Isabelle, you are amazing! Thank you for sharing your story. I love watching your videos, you are very talented!
You are amazing xxx This whole situation you passed through turned you into a very strong and incredible person xxx
Just crazy how your life can change so quickly. Your so strong it’s crazy
I don’t normally comment but your positive attitude is inspiring! Thank you for telling your story. 💛
Thank you
I couldn’t imagine how your teachers and parents felt not knowing you were going through so much. It’s good you made it and hopefully it opened everyone’s eyes to the dangers of meningitis. It’s world shattering but they got lucky to have such a good spirited child who could pull through both physically but also emotionally. I’ve watched like 5 videos and it’s good to see you having quality of life.
Holy cow, thank you so much for sharing your story! I remember when I little, my parents would always make me touch my chin to my chest frequently whenever I'd get sick - no idea until now that meningitis was what they were checking for O.O
Hope you are well! Honestly such an inspiration to everyone, so proud off you beautiful!🥺💓x

I cried too! Such a moving story! I am glad she is OK now.
you're a warrior. i have such a major respect for you
I love love love your positive attitude. Keep being wonderful!!
Amazing video, I'm in awe of your bravery. I also had meningitis as a child and came away with sight issues, which thankfully don't really affect me too much.
such a emotional but true story , so glad to see your copping well . I have scoliosis and that gives me horendoues pain sometimes and I had to have major back surgery when I was younger. Glad your doing great and not letting your disability affect your personality
you’re so positive💫
Very rarely do I stay engaged in a video longer than a few minutes but your storytelling was so good that I didn't even check to see how much time was left not even once. So bravo young lady. I think you are an awesome chick with a powerful testimony that's going to bring hope to so many young ladies out there with similar struggles actually you're going to be helping people that don't even have this type of struggle because of the amount of strength and hope and positivity that you have, it's inspiring! You can tell that you live an amazing life in that you don't let anything hold you back and We could all learn something from you so thank you for sharing your story and I definitely look forward to watching more of your videos
You’re so brave!! I don’t think I would have been able to go through that! You’re amazing! x
For your age I feel like you are very mature compared to so many people. Im glad I found your channel! You are a great UA-camr and your videos are very entertaining and informational too.💕
I admire you so much. You are totally the one of the strongest people I have ever heard of
I just came across this video I’ve never watched your channel before I admire your strength and confidence you are one strong girl! Sending you so much love ❤️
Wow such a powerful story! You really are such a miracle I’m so glad your parents reacted as soon as they noticed something wrong. I had viral meningitis and at first the doctors told me to go back home they thought I had sinuses !! I spent a whole weekend at home getting worse, pounding headache and nauseous and I had a stiff neck for over 3 days until we went to a different doctor and put me in the emergency room straight away. Im so thankful that it didn’t turn to anything worse even though I did spend a few days in the hospital.
love this ! I admire your strength ❤️
I’m a bit of a car fan, and found your channel via the video of your new car! Two of my friends have adapted cars, one of whom has foot operated lights and indicators. So that’s what brought me here. And now you have a new subscriber. You’re so “real” and I love your natural presentation style, although I’m sure there’s a lot of work goes on behind the scenes. I just realised you’re fairly local to me too. I knew your accent was familiar. Looking forward to your future videos, although I’m late to the party and have a lot of catching up to do. Excelsior!
I think it would be somewhat passe to say "You're such a brave girl, Izzy, you've overcome so much Izzy!" when you really haven't had much choice in the matter. I will say that you inspire me in a positive way and I hope hope that isn't an insult. I struggle with bipolar disorder and you'd think that after 46 years I'd have some sense of how to deal with it. In having your own struggles and remaining upbeat on your videos, I can see that the rest of the world outside myself gets on with living. Thanks!
PS. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your car take a drive!
You are absolutely AMAZING! You are so strong and resilient and you are making such a huge difference!
Thank you so much ☺️
Wow! What a story. I will never complain when I get sick again. You have such a great attitude! Kudos!!!
You’re really strong and I love that you’re happy to share things like this with us :)
Thank you so much 💖
You’re so strong and inspiring! Hope your doing well during lockdown love ❤️
Hey love! I found your videos on TikTok!
I just want to say that you‘re literally SO beautiful! After watching many of your videos I don’t even notice that you’re any different from anyone else. (Whatever that means) lol we’re ALL different in our own ways! Your personality and genuineness shine so bright..
Your friends are lucky to have you because you seem so fun and you’re really good at makeup too 🥰
Thank you for sharing this video 🤍 it’s so evident how confident, brave and strong you are. The world is lucky to have you. It definitely changed the way that I look at accepting myself.
Just a reminder for you today in case you’ve forgotten recently… I really appreciate you and it’s inspiring have women in the world who stand in their authenticity 💌 truly grateful that I ran across your page!
Love and blessings from Frankfurt, Germany🇩🇪✨ xx
Thanks so much for sharing your experience! You're so brave, positive and such an inspiration! Keep on smiling you gorgeous girl!! ❤
You're a warrior miss! Stay strong and hugs from Sweden!
I do see that smile hiding all that pain.
This life is too short and we look just for material things instead of saying to who is with you: I love you. This can be the last second of your life. You're beautiful, smart and you positivity pass any barrier.
I had meningococcal meningitis two years ago.. most painful experience of my entire life. I was lucky and got to the hospital early.. my boyfriend was leaving for work and he called his mom because he was worried about how sick I was and wanted her opinion. She told him to take me to the hospital so at 6am we went and by 10 I had had two spinal taps and was diagnosed. Stayed in the hospital for a week strung out on morphine then spent another week visiting twice a day for antibiotics and fluids. If my boyfriend hadn’t have come back to take me to the hospital that morning I most likely would have died. Thank you for sharing your story ❤️
Hi! New subscriber here! Just found you through this video. You mentioned wanting ideas of how to celebrate your 10th anniversary... I think you deserve something bigger and better than just a meal! You might not be able to do some of these things until next year now, but... Start training to climb a mountain? Go on a special dream holiday? Do a midnight walk? Once you're 18, how about a skydive?! Get local press on board in the run-up to it and turn it into a big charity fundraiser!
Thank god your teacher wasn’t one of those teachers where they just say “take a sip of water and relax” thank god your teacher was one where like “ oh you don’t feel well? I’ll call your mom!”
I love your videos!
Merry Christmas
You are such a sweet and cheerful person. You are so inspiring!! I learned a lot from you today. Can't imagine how stressful the journey was for you and your family. But the positivity you are spreading is really amazing!! 💖💖💖
thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm a huge fan of your channel!
Aww Thank you so much ☺️
Hey mate I think you’re fab! My little cousin died of Meningitis when he was 18 months. Truly devastating- amazing to hear you’ve come out of it
i remember back in 2016 when my lol boy was 2 1/2 yrs old he got sick and had to be rushed to UK one of the best hospital in my state cause they thought he had spinal meningitis it was one of the scariest nights of my entire life it was an known virus it’s so deadly thank god you are alive and well and thriving so well i am so intrigued with your story and channel!!! thank you for being so open and educating ppl and being such an inspiration

You are so brave😭True fighter🤧
Absolutely adorable, love to listen to you, good luck in whatever you do.
You are such a beautiful and inspiring person! 💞💞
Hi there, yes, I just found your channel. I’m visually impaired, my mother had rubella when she was pregnant so I have congenital rubella syndrome. Not sure if you know about it… But that causes deafness, blindness, a heart condition, cognitive disabilities and other things to… Another friend of mine also had meningitis on top of this.
Hello
You are absolutely incredible. Thank you for sharing your story, and for all of the work you and your family have done to raise awareness and help get vaccinations.
I’ve never heard of this but u r so positive! I didn’t realize how severe this is!
You are the definition of INSPIRATION! 💜
Girl! You are super pretty, love your energy and smile! Stay strong always💚 greetings from Mexico.
Wow! what terrifying story. Only a very strong person could have survived that. PLUS!!! Look at you now! You came through all that, to a Beautiful, smart, well spoken individual. Just amazing!!!! Love you Izzy 😉👍
Thank you ☺️
Happy tenth anniversary, so glad you made it through because you inspire me to do my best and stay positive when things are tough❤️
Hehe Thank you
October 16th is my birthday. I can't believe the crazy thinks that happen on your birthday! ❤ I'm so sorry that this all happened to you at such a young age.
thanks for sharing and being so open about it all. I hope things get better for you, all of it sounds just awful. The feeding tubes are the worst. (also you're really pretty, I know that might sound creepy as hell). I hope in the future you can pull pranks on your siblings, make sure they learn to always leave a note! I got bitten on the face by a German Shepherd when I was a kid and almost lost an eye, some kids were a bit weird about the face scar but I'm kinda glad because I just grew up a bit different and got a sense of humour and perspective about things, and clearly you have too, the endless asking of 'what happened' was the worst lol. If you ever want a podcast, Sickboy is a Canadian group of young dudes and they talk openly about people living with illnesses and disability, they have great drs and stuff on too, its really funny and really informative!
I can't imagine what you and your family must have gone through ❤️ you are amazing
I just loved the video, how sincere and strong you are explaining your story!! And btw, you are so beautiful girl. Sending lots of love from Spain✨✨
This is probably one of the most interesting stories that I've heard.
Btw, this came into my UA-cam recommendation at random; however, this story-(like everyone else in the comments have been saying) is really inspiring/educating.
Thank you very much!
Thank you so much. Make sure to subscribe and stick around
Great to hear your story! I just noticed when you added the video about going back to A&E and I think you are not wearing make up in that video..just wanted to say you looked amazing!
And great to see how you're covered! I liked to see the video about the amazon aids..I didn't even knew they existed! Thanks for sharing all of this
You’re amazing girl, such a positive attitude 💗
Such a strong woman , keep inspiring ! :)
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for sharing your story. I don’t know how this popped up on my feed but I also had Meningitis when I was around the same age but I never knew it was such a severe illness. All I remember was being in the hospital for 2 weeks, getting released one day and going to a bday party where I got sick again, and then having to go back for another week. I knew it was kind of serious but I always thought it was kinda like pneumonia. Glad to see you are doing well today
What an inspiration you are, such a positive outlook on life. You are so strong and amazing. Unfortunately you are always going to get the “ what happened “ question but I’m hoping it comes from a place of interest and admiration from most people. My younger brother (now almost 31 ) had menacocaseptasemia* when he was months old and it was touch and go. hope you have the best life xx
You are a true inspiration with your cheerful and positive attitude, have a wonderful life , you will succeed in anything you do xxx
So happy that your living a happy life, your an inspiration 🌟
