You also replaced the stock component speaker with a 2 way speaker and tweeter combo. Those are wasted...this is a really good example of what not to do

On the last removal of plastic, I just popped it from side. Came out in a second no breakage. It was first time taking off that piece.

Yea they need a bracket no matter what. The stock speakers are built into one from Ford.

He'll have to mount 9x6 speakers sideways....the openings are 6x9.🤣
