I enjoy watching you guys!!! I also homeschool and of course we're vegan as well.... I personally enjoy the granola bars& I think the point of the made good brands that maybe you guys skipped over a bit is the ingredients-- there are pretty good, interesting ,& healthy, ingredients that you don't normally see in granola snacks but I love them I think they're great and I think they're a nice change to the normal snack foods that you end up spending at 2-3 dollars MORE for and that don't have the healthiest ingredients.....
      But that's just my opinion!!!
      Love ya guys 🙏

I'm with Andrew with the pricing factor. The better word is frugal. I'm very frugal but if I love something it can be an occasional thing.

I love these granola bars for my kids! They are allergic to dairy, wheat, eggs, nuts, peanuts and soy, so these are some of the rare snacks that I can get them. And they just love that they occasionally get a treat in a packaging like the other kids, instead of the homemade versions that they usually get.

My kiddos like their cookies! I really like their chocolate drizzled holiday sprinkle bars we bought in December, didn’t have to count the choclate chips, tons of chocolate 😂

Personally, I am addicted to the birthday bars. I don't expect it to taste exactly like birthday cake, but to mimic it in a healthier ver. I think they're so good that I am willing to buy two boxes every other time I go grocery shopping. Loved the review! 💖

I know this channel is mostly taste testing new vegan products but it would great if you did an episode on homeschooling. Love your channels either way ❤

I don’t have celiac disease, but I have a gluten sensitivity. Gluten gives me headaches and makes me feel bloated, so I avoid it as much as possible.
I love the Made Good granola bars (Cookies & Cream and Chocolate Drizzled) and the vanilla cookies!
Another benefit to these (besides being allergy-friendly and vegan) is that they’re made with multiple vegetables and you’d never know because you can’t taste it. Great option for kids! 😋

I just bought the mixed berry granola bars last night! Not a fan of the rice crispy squares. I also didn’t taste “birthday cake” flavor. with those. Everything else is pretty good.
    I have a non-celiac gluten sensitivity.

The fact that people take the time to try and direct you all's relationship is a "lil" wild because your content is very specific. Thank you both for the content because it's very helpful when navigating making better food choices. Blessings!

I appreciate this taste test. I am gluten intolerant (gluten causes great inflammation and pain in my body), but not celiac.
I've seen this brand at the store but have never splurged. Now I will 🥰

I enjoy your videos so much! I found you guys after my teen decided to be vegan. Your videos have been so helpful but I also enjoy you both as people. You seem to genuinely enjoy each other and have fun together, which is fun to watch. We also homeschool and we’re quite frugal.

I have see these in many places and have never bought any of them. Good to know the oat bites and granola mini bars are the La Croix Water of granola bars and that I should avoid them, LOL! Hoping to find their vegan cheese stars somewhere, because I really liked the Earth Balance cheese squares but haven't seen them in over a year. Thanks for posting! 🙂

I buy the made good granola bars for my son who goes to public elementary school. To my knowledge most public schools are in the very least nut free so these are a win because they’re vegan and also safe for him to bring to school. But they are slightly expensive which kinda stinks😣

I love the made good brand, but yes there are a lot of product and kind of have to find the best ones. I recommend the cookies and cream granola bars and am not really a fan of the granola minis either. The mini soft baked cookies are kind of fun too. Plus they all. have hidden veggies lol

We get the cookies every now and then, double chocolate ones, red velvet and the snickerdoodle ones…they have natural flavors in it which I think might be msg but overall healthier than regular cookies.

Have you tried making Rice Krispy treats at home with Trader Joes marshmallows? They are vegetarian with no gelatin, but I'm not certain they are vegan. If so, I would love to see a taste and price comparison to these.

Once I made homemade RC treats with Natures Path Crispy Rice cereal ( I've made variations with their chocolate variety Koala Crisp and Gorilla Munch) , vegan butter and Dandies marshmallows it was game over. It had the pull of the old school treat and was sooooo good it's hard not to eat the whole tray 😂 the prepackaged ones are always too crispy for my tastes. It's good in a different way, but I love the softer homemade kind.

Hey there! I’m finally going to visit the Westcoast again in June and my question is is there a Vegan label on the packaging or is there an easy way to recognize vegan foods? I remember like a “circled black V” but I don’t remember if it was in the US or somewhere else. In Germany it’s mostly easy to find vegan things cuz there is a yellow circled green V and it says vegan on it and we also have the one turned around colors for vegetarian food. Greetings

      @ladyxsuebee4048 3 місяці тому

There are products with that circle on them and some just say Vegan.

I get that it’s good for more vegan options, but it feels like there are more “junk”, ultra-processed options that aren’t necessarily healthy or healthier. Not sure I would spend a ton of money on less healthy options just because they’re vegan/allergen friendly. Seems like finding good recipes to make whole food options is better (shy of the “school requires packaged foods” thing). Would love to see videos on bulk snack making, to avoid the ultra-processing. Just my 2 cents. 😊

Sixteen dollars a pound, for something that tastes like chewable water, lol But, if you have a child who is allergic to something, this product does seem to be serious about protecting that child, and it would be worth the price to send your kid to school/daycare with a safe snack. When my son was little, I had to make everything for him from scratch, because there were no packaged foods he could eat; it's nice that this is an option.

My son likes the cinnamon roll flavored bars. They are tiny. He is 7 and ate the box of 5 in 2 days. For what they cost it's sad they only lasted 2 days.
