I was struggling to find something similar to Procreate for Windows. I tried like 10 apps and by far this is the most similar. Thank you for this video, it helped me a lot! 💜
This is great! A much better option than Procreate with the vector functions. You’re a great teacher! This was easy to follow even without my iPad in front of me.
Thank you so much for your kind words Lauren! I'm really glad that the video was easy to follow :) The vector brushes are definitely one of my favorite features of the app for sure!
Thank you so much! I've used Illustrator and Photoshop forever and just got started with Fresco on the iPad. This is EXACTLY what I needed to get started. :)

Hi Alana (hope I got your name right). I love how you explain the Adobe Fresco tools. I am a new user very enthusiastic to learn to use it for painting. One thing I noticed viewing your video is that I do not have the tools below the colour wheel. Should I defeat the App and reload or is there a way to update it. I use iPad Air 4. Thanks
Hi! I’m sorry that you’re having that issue. You can try updating the app from the App Store or try deleting and redownloading it and see if that fixes things.

Good question! If you’re starting from a new document, from the Home Screen you can go to Create New, then hit Custom size to set your dimensions and DPI which will be under the Print Size drop down menu. If you’ve already started a document and want to change the DPI, go to the upper right hand corner to your Settings and next to where you see your dimensions, hit Change. From there you can change your DPI just as you would from the home screen. Hope that helped but let me know if you have any other questions ☺️
Hi! I’m honestly not sure but I would check how much storage space you have on your device and if it’s close to full try freeing up space if you can. I feel like my old iPad would lag when my storage space got low.
@@AGFDesignStudio I just bought it new in the apple store and I just installed Adobe Fresco. I had maybe 10 layers in my drawing (pixel and vector) and a few UA-cam pages on safari. I found that more people have this problem, seems like I have to code something into Fresco to get it to work without multi-touch..
No it doesn’t but if you have Photoshop for iPad installed that effect is available. And all of your files from Fresco will automatically appear there since they’re designed to work together.
Wow, Fresco is so cool, I didn't know that it had vector brushes too. So it's like a pixel and vector based software right? And Thanks for the shoutout ☺️
This is a great question. Basically Adobe Photoshop is still the classic photo editing software that we know. Adobe Fresco is basically like taking the digital painting and illustrating functions of Photoshop and putting it into a separate app for the iPad. You can animate in it, create using vectors or pixels, create color palettes, and get full Photoshop brush capabilities. If you get a Photoshop subscription you’ll notice it comes with Adobe Fresco as well. They’re basically companion apps in a sense so your Adobe Fresco files will show up in Adobe Photoshop too. Hope that gives you a better sense of the app but let me know if you have any other questions 👍🏾
Hi! You don’t need the image to follow along with the video. I just used my own piece of art to help demonstrate some of the functions of the app. Let me know if you have any other questions!
@@AGFDesignStudio thanks for replying, under that it’s the texting tool after that the colors and the image, I think it doesn’t have any, like square and oval and all
Oh I’m sorry, I misunderstood. In the very bottom right hand corner if you press and hold you’ll see what they call Drawing Aids. That’s where you’ll find the oval, square, polygon and the ruler tool for straight edges! You can use them to trace or to fill with color.

Hola!
Wow, Fresco is so cool, I didn't know that it had vector brushes too. So it's like a pixel and vector based software right?
And Thanks for the shoutout ☺️
Yup! You’ll see that you have options to use vectors or pixels so it’s super versatile and flexible. It’s one of the reasons I love it 😊
I don't get it! What's the difference between this and just having Photoshop? If you have Photoshop, why would you need Fresco?
@@AGFDesignStudio Oh, okay...
Didn't know exactly, thanks for the info!!!
i was hoping this was for beginners i dont have that letter picture
Hi! You don’t need the image to follow along with the video. I just used my own piece of art to help demonstrate some of the functions of the app. Let me know if you have any other questions!
How to register???
All you need to do is create an Adobe ID: account.adobe.com/ and then you can use it to sign-in to Fresco and other Adobe programs 👍🏾
@@AGFDesignStudio thanks
do anyone know how to change language? 😢😢
Froggy :)
Why does it not have shapes??
Hey! You can find the shapes panel under the Fill Tool (the one that looks like a paint bucket), but let me know if you still don’t see it
@@AGFDesignStudio thanks for replying, under that it’s the texting tool after that the colors and the image, I think it doesn’t have any, like square and oval and all
Oh I’m sorry, I misunderstood. In the very bottom right hand corner if you press and hold you’ll see what they call Drawing Aids. That’s where you’ll find the oval, square, polygon and the ruler tool for straight edges! You can use them to trace or to fill with color.
money as Pro logic looks to run smoother on MAC! FFS!!!
Great content but the vocal frying got too much for me, sorry.
