They are super easy to grow. I can do it. I grow mine in a basic bark mix with a little sand and dolomite. And a sprinkling of compost. Outdoors in very temperate climate.

Nice looking plant, we used to have a few of those. I always liked the large multifloral types and species. I always potted them in bark/sponge rock mix, kinda heavy handed waterer here, have a happy holidays!

Yeah an orchid video. You always make it lol so easy. Any suggestion on how to save one that loss all of its roots? That is my dilema at the present time.

I recently got an orchid cutting as a bit of a rescue- it came to me with no roots, and only a few small growths. I used wire to suspend it in a terrarium (a small Wardian case, to be precise) and it has put out two new growths and new roots within a few weeks. If you can't get your hands on a terrarium, sealing a clear plastic bag over the top of the pot could help elevate the humidity around the plant. For saving a rootless orchid, having high humidity is key, since the plant is less capable of absorbing water regularly. Best of luck!
