As a solo player I have learned setting traps (loot with gas cans near it) is a fun method with less risk. Maybe a trap video is in storee

Always be considering an escape route no matter where you are at, what you are doing. Whether you rotate/reposition/retreat is up to you but stay alive. This is a survival game after all.

Is there a way to escape them smaller Police stations. Besides jumping off the rough dying.. or the back or front door? Is there a window.. or a way off the roof I haven't figured out?

Every great kill I've ever gotten in dayz has been from flanking. It can REALLY leave your enemy vulnerable. I got into a mid range firefight with another player with CR-527s after several missed shots from both of us, I ran into a tree line, flanked and killed him.
Flank for the win!
If your new at the game don't wait. Just be aggressive cause chances are if it's an experienced player they will hear you and kill you before you get a chance. Yes you might die but at least you tried. Get the first shot on the person.

Personally I just avoid combat entirely if I can. If I know I can’t win a battle then I often pull a grenade pin and try to take them out with me
Killing solo players while cooking drinking etc is not encouraging. It is frustrating to be killed like this. I undestand if you bump into someone like this but waiting for it seems wrong.
Thats why you make sure you're not being followed before you start camping/cooking.

Ok so triple carry is out of the question. What about hexa carry? Blaze, ak, long horn, Glock, mk II and bizon.

I've been playing Dayz for two months now - haven't killed a single player on purpose yet; ran over a guy who I thought was a zombie (wearing orange vest on coast road) as only player kill. Pretty hard thing to do when everyone shoots first.
That is quite the first kill though!

Haha I mean, there are times when I understand 3 long guns, but yeah most of the time it can get really clunky! Anytime!
I can go out in my underwear and 2 guns and not have enough stam to vault a wall
I seem to be having a hell of a hard time getting my first kill. "Gunfight" I'm pretty new still with around 200 hours. And doing good as far as surviving and killing zombies. But need either more experience shooting or just better weapons to shoot. I get killed like immediately by other players.. even armored up. They definitely seem to be pros at the game and I keep that in mind. That I just gotta keep practicing and not totally give up after dying over and over after a good run. Some people just seem unfair too.. or just preying on the freashies. Kill on sight no matter what! Which is bullshit when your a fresh spawn. Don't even get a chance to start the game sometimes.
It's tough, yep there are some good players out there, plenty of new players too, just a roll of the dice who you run into.
play a lot slower, thats what I did when it comes to areas i’m worried about, and now I see people before they see me. it’s rough, but patience is rewarded
When I move into a town, I drop my backpack and secondary long gun somewhere behind a house in bush or tall grass. Then I move in with more stamina for fighting
Honestly a great idea! Just make sure your ammo is in your pants/jacket!

That is a last resort for me, but sometimes ya got to do what ya got to do!
My issue is I'll be playing for hours, then suddenly a player pops up, already on me like they'd been following me, though I'd left no dead zombies, open doors, anything, I try to keep eyes in the back of my head but it's impossible to do the entire time you're playing, the one time you head into a building to repair shoes or something, BAM! Even had enough time to run away ~50m yesterday (I had no firearm, gotta love it)
This game is full of jumpscare moments. Sometimes players will listen for the sound of you repairing, eating, ect to rush you. Sometimes the best way is to talk your way out of a firefight, but again some people are just evil no-mic people that kill on sight.
@@Nitno jumpscare moments is exactly how I'd put it, relaxing when you see someone run infront of the door with their gun at the ready, I forgot to talk and started running lol, but in my experience no one on official is okay with talking things out anyways

Sounds like you've got an issue with your Game Settings or PC. It should not do that.
@@Nitno then why os ot selective. doesnt work when players dont knoe im there but lags when im dealing with the sweatiest roof top side to side camping players. the second the aim i cant do a thing. yet im fine moments before? im on console
