For you all who are complaining about the candy, cookies, and soda sales Danno pointed out, it doesn't matter what he shows. Whatever is on sale or is a really good deal is what hebis goi to highlight. There is not a thing wrong with that. You don't have to consume those things or even pay attention when he points them out. I noticed he highlighted WAY more of the healthy foods than of the other sales. With all of the steess, anxiety, and depression people are experiencing due to all of the current events and shrinkflation and inflation, maybe some people are looking for a short escape once in awhile that won't kill them. Nothing wrong with having a treat once in awhile to help reset yourself while having the news turned off.🙄

oh and a number of people who are commenting about the fact they can't eat, if you go into their page, there is nothing. It's a troll or bot to stir up trouble from Russia. Check the ingredients on that Kroger Cream Cheese. It may have additives that Philadelphia does not. I've been watching the ingredients of what I buy and changing brands because I want cleaner foods.
went to kroger this morning 7-11-2024. prices have gone sky high. spent $130.00 on nothing!! produce was empty. bread was empty. dairy was not very full. and people were loading up their shopping carts. i was 8th in line, 3 cashiers and 5 self service checks out open and this was 9 am!!
Sorry, but cookies, candy, and sodas are not neccessities. They way to save money?- don't buy them in the first place.

So no one can have any treats at all ever? Some may think they are not necessities while others who are really struggling and need some kind of a break from all of this horrible inflation and shrinkflation do think they are necessary. It may be the only escape they can afford 🤷
Besides that, regardless of how healthy or unhealthy something is, Danno highlights the best sales at stores. Whatev is on sale is what is going to be in the video.
People are so judgemental. He is only giving you the items on sale whether you choose to purchase is up to you.
My dad has a massive vegetable garden and it is his life. Whenever I ask how things are going, he tells me about the garden. Periodically he will text me a picture of the things he's harvested and ask when I'm coming to pick them up. And for a while, the biggest bit of garden gossip has been his nemesis, the gopher.
This gopher was consistently ruining his day by pilfering the best of everything just before my dad could harvest it. Anytime I talked to him, all he had to tell me about was “that damned gopher.” He dreamt about killing the gopher, his truest enemy. Potatoes are LAST YEARS OR IMPORTED. From mid-August to mid-October the growers are busy harvesting potatoes.
absolutely right and hard to get immigrant workers. They don't want to go and work there anymore. With the all of the bad weather and nobody to pick will make groceries very expensive. They will have to be imported.

You are helping so many people, it is hard to keep track of all the sales and specials
How do you get organic nuts when they grow on trees ? Tree's grow outdoors . You can also buy onions and peel them and freeze them . ground beef has a lot of grease and liquid in them buy chuck or 80/20 and you can shake and bake chicken and Chops .
If nut trees are sprayed with pesticides, they cannot be organic. Many nuts are sprayed.
I have thought that same thing lol
It comes down to what use the land has had, what fertilizers or pesticides they use and if they payed for the organic license
Went to a Kroger store on Monday. The meat department was really low and they didn't have most of what I wanted on my list. I am guessing that they were slammed over the holiday and the weekend. My free best customer coupon for the third month in a row was a 9.6 ounce can of Folgers. No complaints there. We also bought a 120-count box of Kroger K cups for a penny more than Sam's box which only had 100 cups in it. I am sure some people don't like the coffee, but we do and I'm starting to stock up for winter. Their cat food aisle was pitiful. I don't usually shop at Kroger but do get the bargains when they are available.
I tried the Simple Truth Organic kiwi last time they were on sale, and they were the best kiwi I've ever had

I just went and spent $406 at the Kroger here in KY. But I bought a lot (large family).
hey Danno, just noticed all of the sunset tomatoes and vegetables. I looked it up because we get Sunset as well and they are grown in Kingsville, Ontario Canada. Transportation costs add into the price that is set as well. There are 5 distribution centres in the US where they get shipped and then move out from there. So much bad weather last year in the US has really driven up the prices or not available.
I was in Roseburg, OR yesterday.
WinCo Foods & Sherm’s Thunderbird Market, 2 local stores has a gallon of milk at $3.28. Walmart is a different story, $3.62 a gallon and all 3 get their milk from the same dairy plant! So, something explains to me why Walmart is charging more!

Products participating in the "buy 5 or more" are mix and match. One doesn't have to purchase 5 of the same item in order to get the extra $1 off per item. As a way to "deal with with prices doubling": Jello-the LARGE boxes are normally $1.99. This sale has them at .99. Well heck yeah, I'm gonna 5 or 8 or 12 . Same thing with Jif PB. $1.99 normal price is what? WAYYY more than $1.99. Sweet Baby Rays? .99cent also. normal price $2.49? $3? This sale is offering items at less than half of their normal prices. Why WOULDN"T anyone buy more than one of each?

You know the deals aren't good when the highlights are of a sale that has been ongoing for almost 3 weeks now. Not a complaint about the host but Kroger itself for being lazy on getting new fresh deals out.

How do you freeze your peppers?
Dice them up. Freezer bag(lay flat in freezer). Haven't tried the food Saver machine on them yet, but next batch we're gonna try that.
@AdventureswithDanno Flash freeze before you vacuum seal ( that goes for almost everything). That will prevent a mushy glob and also keeps any liquid from going into your machine. I usually place the food in cheap ziplock bags (unzip before vacuum sealing) to flash freeze. It keeps the FS bags clean and easier to wash for another use. Once you start using it, you will be looking around for things to seal ... it's not just for food! Sign up for their emails and they will let you know when they have a sale on bags. I prefer the rolls over the pre-made bags.

No Kroger here. Only IGA both ours never had any meat sales and I live in South Dakota.
South Dakota is a very nice state, one I am considering buying some land in or Wyoming.
I was in the store the other day, in a suburb of Nashville, and the lady next to me was complaining out loud about her bill, and said she was going to have to use some of her d..ug money to pay for it. People were everywhere in the store like roaches... and this was about 35 miles away from NASH. I told myself, once my work assignment is done at the end of the year, I am out of here. They are quick, good meals for those who can't cook other than in the microwave. Also a good dinner for those who don't have air conditioning and don't want to heat up the oven!
Just remember when you have high blood pressure and cholesterol and diabetes don't be eating sweets and fry food and check with your doctor to see what you can eat stay away from fry food and sweet potato chips and bread and pasta check your blood pressure every day so many people are over weight including myself and husband and daughter and son-in-law . You can put things in the freezer but you can maybe bake instead of fry and boil meat .

Kroger sales don't seem to be too great I used to work there years ago for 3 years it's such a scam What time you check out in the taxes added on you didn't get anything on sale.

Look he is just pointing out the SALES! He doesn't necessarily buy every item he shows. If you saw him in the store with cookies in his cart are you going to confront him about it? I think not cause you would never get through the store. We should all practice kindness.
