    Is it more quiet than 2023 Model 3 RWD?

      in my humble opinion yes I think it is ...

    Does it have a front bumper camera

    • @dailydrivenH2
      @dailydrivenH2  5 місяців тому

      No front bumper camera same for the X people kept rejecting their model x delivery hoping to get a 2024 VIN for the supposed new features like front camera and ambient lighting but those upgrades didn’t come for the X .

    Any idea if the existing model 3 all weather mats fit the 2024 M3? If anyone books a test drive, and you have an existing M3, can you try?

    • @dailydrivenH2
      @dailydrivenH2  5 місяців тому +1

      The 2 demos I had seen so far the one on the video and another one I saw yesterday for some reason didn’t have floor mats .

    • @kyorgii
      @kyorgii 5 місяців тому +2

      hi @ih2898 the rear-wheel drive M3 doesn't come with floor mats like the old M3 RWD, but the clearance is about the same for the driver and passenger so it should fit, I haven't had a chance to compare the left "clutch groove" area so that might be the only mismatch; but absolutely stop by and bring your mats and we'll double check with you

    How can you tell if the refesh model 3 is available for a demo drive?

    • @dailydrivenH2
      @dailydrivenH2  5 місяців тому +1

      Go on the tesla site select demo drive enter your zipcode and it will let you know where and when is available near you …

    • @kyorgii
      @kyorgii 5 місяців тому +1

      Best way is to ask an advisor (like me) by calling the store ahead of when you want to stop by, most stores will have the refresh M3 by now

    Never owned a Tesla POV. How would this compare to 2023 Model Y with all the discounts it has? I'd like for the back to fit a bike at least so not sure if M3 can do that.

    • @dailydrivenH2
      @dailydrivenH2  5 місяців тому

      Yeah the model Y is a better deal now with all the discounts and yes the Y has more space. Have you ever seen a Y up close ??

    • @kyorgii
      @kyorgii 5 місяців тому +1

      Hiya @rogerh2694, the 2023 and 2024 Model Y's are a steal right now; most of our 2023 inventory is being cleared out but 2024 also qualifies for the point-of-sale tax credit; you can get Long Range MY for almost $38k before taxes + fees

    No stalks looks like bad design. Pass. I'll await the next update which will have it

    • @dailydrivenH2
      @dailydrivenH2  5 місяців тому

      You be waiting for a while there’s 0 plans on bringing it back . As far I had been told there’s no actual numbers internally that had even concern people not liking it to the point where they need to rethink the design.
      The only people that buy teslas is not the few that make videos complaining on youtube .
      When I did a few years with ford also the switch from an actual lever to switch gears like in the new bronco and other ford models that was replaced with a big dial some people complained and eventually is just normal now .

    • @kyorgii
      @kyorgii 5 місяців тому

      Hi @fr9714 , thanks for sharing your concern about the stalks; they were removed to line up more with the Model X and S and to remove another component that could wear and tear over time causing more repairs and failures. For those who prefer a more manual option, the 2023 will still be available for a bit but the 2024 M3 has manual gear controls on the ceiling console next to the hazards button as shown in the video :)

    • @fr9714
      @fr9714 5 місяців тому

      @@kyorgii I understand lining up with S and X but it is a huge mistake. Honestly the stalks are very cheap and do not wear and tear. You can drive 30y old cars whose stalks work perfectly. So I don't think that is the reason. Cost savings makes no sense when they had to wire the physical gear selector above as emergency. And wire wheel haptic buttons. Let's see how sales do. I feel it will fall over time due to bad word of mouth. People like my wife, parents won't be able to adapt to it and won't prefer it. I've seen many videos where people said even after 2hr they didn't properly adapt.
      Imaging making right and immediate left turn. You'd stop indicating and cause issues. This is a fatal flaw and when sales fall they will restore it.

    • @kyorgii
      @kyorgii 5 місяців тому

      @@fr9714 I hear ya and appreciate you typing out your concerns. Another hunch of mine is since the stalks are from Mercedes stemming from a partnership from 2010, they're trying to move away from sourcing parts from outside parties to reduce cost. I'll wait and see what my customers are saying after another few months of demo driving and get back to you; I feel like it's another one of those Tesla things (like regen braking and Autopilot) that'll take time to mature and a lot of other companies are following suit with smart shift technologies despite keeping the stalks. The indicators are safer in my opinion as you're supposed to signal before turning anyways and we could always program a software option to keep the blinkers on based on preference. Great feedback as always, thank you!
