Good video. People just assume using less RAM equals faster and that is simply not true. Ubuntu using snap vs Linux Mint does mean Ubuntu will use up more ram as sandboxing apps takes effect. But a good video, most of these videos just feature startup RAM usage and unless you doing to do nothing but stare at a wallpaper screen, those are worthless.
Furthermore, I think Linux Mint is missing out on Gnome users by not having a gnome edition. Mint themes play very nicely with gnome as does the software manager and other mint tools. It would open up users who like Ubuntu but don't want snap, certainly would be more popular than the Mate edition.
This is the first Ubuntu version I really like. Well, I run it on a Ryzen 7, so its speed is very good. But my old computer cant have a good performance on Ubuntu.
Hi! I just found your channel. Love it ! Hey could you make a compilation of the systems you’ve already tested? Also can you more heavy loading tasks like benchmarking or gaming? I would love to see it how it compares.
Linux Mint XFCE will be faster than both but not that noticeable, even on a budget laptop. Lubuntu or one of the ultralights like Bodhi, Antix, BunsenLabs will be a tad faster.

The way RAM meant to be measured! Interesting.

Как по мне, Mint не конкурентоспособен. Да работает, но хотя бы долно быть KDE 6

"unused ram is just wasted ram"
Unused ram is ram that can be used)))
Windows gostou do seu comentário 😂😂😂😂😂
you need to free up ram to use it for something else that hogs it
