So instead of paying decent wages they rather spend a TON more on resources to not help out humanity… and ppl are just okay with this… boycotting should be a term ppl are familiar with
This is getting ridiculous, this is going too far, I get using automation to replace redundant repetitive jobs but even then why can’t there be a healthy mix? Look at China they’re paving highways with 400+ people with shovels and rakes when they could be using mass industrial machines to do it a lot faster and easier but you gotta keep the people employed man. Let the teenagers work these jobs so they can move up in the world to become productive adults.
As someone that does self learning machines for closed systems in automation assembly. It's hard enough in a closed loop where I control 99% of the variables. The general public. Good luck!
It's only a matter of time before they get it right I mean technically keeps improving and I'm sure you saw that mechanic arm that can make food I could see the future no actual people will even work at some of those locations
Sorta, as it’s an unknown. For instance, 100 years ago the first mass produced cars were underway. I’m sure one of those goals was to make a bulletproof machine, but even today cars do fail with all that we’ve learned. So in this context, ai might get better but it’ll always need a babysitter for the foreseeable future. You can also exchange an employee making $15 a hour for a basic task pretty easily with these machines, but when does it outweigh the costs? When new the machines cost at minimum a years salary and have to be maintained by a set of employees who will ask for a bit more then one who will just flip the burger. When the machine fails, you’re closed for business.
Do you remember the storyline of I Robot? In the end AI Is exactly what’s it’s called “artificial” intelligence… it’s artificial, it will never be intelligent because it’s designed to fake intelligence, Ai will never take over or be without human oversight because of its very nature, and that will never change
lol no one’s told y’all already that mostly all people cant order in the drive through to save their own lives. And then get mad that their order is fucked. Just a piece of advice if you’re order is always wrong when you hit drive thru you’re the problem not the workers that you think are beneath you.
If you use artificial intelligence, then find artificial customers
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
what do you think we are at this point…?
people were trolling the ai too
Never eat toxic food
They have that at Carl’s Jr. in my town and in no time it was back to a human 😂😂
Idiocracy

It Is your duty as a human to fight back against irresponsible ai usage...confuse the fuck outta them

Same reason I never use the terminals inside, they service me in person or won't have business at all.
Yeah, it just never worked, even when putting on my most default American accent
We’ve had AI for a long time now and if it hasn’t taken over simple jobs like this…it will be decades until it does…if ever.
Great, now pay the workers a living wage
Finding a balance between technology and human personnel in this kind of workplace is the key to finding true success.
One of our local ones had it and it was quickly discontinued because it couldn’t hear people. The location is right next to a major interstate.
Hi, i would like a Big Mac...
Sir... this is the bank... 😐
I like the kiosk. Works well in every country 👍
No, in some countries, it works really bad, philippines, for example.
With AI we would have never had “no ONyonnnnnNn” 😂😂😂
😂 humans still get orders wrong. They screw you at the drive thu.
They’re are trying to stop having workers to just drive up pick up and no more going inside as well
Don't forget about the ten year rule
Tbh if ppl would work without complaining all the time or requesting absurd pay then robots wouldn't be brought in
Good, mc Donald’s sucks ass anyways, diabetes
It's not about them using ai. It's about the jobs they kill. Without entry level jobs we get nowhere as a society.
You want dah fries wit datt?
I stopped going to Carl's Jr because they started using AI drivethrough. Bye bye
Maybe get a horse wagon, car uses engines 😂
I thought they use gloves wth
I thought I was the only one who caught that 🤦♂️
No gloves is crazier than
If McDonald's couldn't be worse....
Make it automated it will be even more shit
Oh thank goodness. Before i stopped eating McDonald's i preferred the self service kiosk. No speaking needed.
After COVID I want human interaction. I look for cashiers amd abandon self checkout. I appreciate ot more.

They still gonna get all are orders wrong anyways so does this matter?
Yea this AI is not like the Movies AInwe are thinking, so I’m glad McDonald’s and people figuring that shit out. People need to relax
When choosing an AI to run your entire company, this is why you shouldn’t cheap out
Where are his gloves,??
gloves are not that sanitary, better without if you keep good hygiene
No gloves?
No gloves?!
Where is your gloves? You should never touch food. With bare hands
thats because people cant order right
Great there goes all our jobs!!!!!😢
People would say 100 big macs 100 ice creams then it would alert manger n person just had yp come on lol
Artificial stupidity.
AI puts ‘stuff’
in the food.
be careful
Literally what
😂😂😂😂
Haha
So… we’re just going to act like that man didn’t just slap that bun on that burger with his bare hand? 🥴 In fact they all are… 😵💫 Gross.
Did you think that chefs in restaurants wear gloves when cooking? That’s why they have signs for employees to wash hands because they don’t. 😂😂😮
😂😂😂😂
