Whatever happens Saturday it’s been a great season and you should be proud of your achievements. To come back from the crash was no mean feat. Routing for on Saturday, another breakaway is on the cards🤙🤙🤙
Thanks for those words, it’s easy to lose track of where I started and where I now am. I’ll do my best in the last race and what will be, will be. I’m not going to get to downhearted if I don’t get the points I need.
Don’t you carry your points over to next year? Edit - just checked the rules and you don’t! Points get reset to zero on 30th November. Are you going to have a go at Cyclo-cross in the winter? Notts and Derby Cross League starts soon.
@@Trevor.Adams640 I might have a go at CX, it does look fun, but I’d struggle when it comes to getting off the bike and having to run, I have no ACL and arthritis in my left knee.
You need to look at how others ride. It was more than obvious the lad wearing No.13 didn't know he had half his block still to use. I can't understand why he was spinning such a gear in a crit on the flat. My advice would be to get around these choppers asap as they're typically a nuisance and will either leave a gap and / or cause a crash. Point proven in this video.

@@leemacdonald805 thank you so much. I think this has been a “character building” season 😂
Bring on Saturday 🚴♂️
Good luck Craig, you'll smash it.
@@stevenchilde3251 thank you, I’ll give it my absolute best 🚴♂️
Great video. Good luck for next week. Maybe even see you next year
@@johnmitchell4152 thank you 👍🏻 Darley is a great place to race at and we’re lucky to have so many races there.
Get the elbows out next wk, doesn’t have to aggressively. Just enough to hold your space 👊 rooting for you pal.
Yeah, you’re right. In all honesty I should have been aware that a rider could come up the inside and be ready to push back a little. Lesson learnt.
Don't beat yourself up bud. You're doing some great riding. To be in the mix in a race at Darley takes some doing.
