I would be interested too..... however the hulls, rudder and foils are built in the UK (the hulls are my design) and then shipped to me in Australia for fitting out and adding the rigs, so am afraid the logistics of such a challenge would beat us here.
Yes something like that but the foam is in 6 sections. 3 section down the back of the mast, and each one of these has a hinged section of foam on the trailing edged. Nothing too fancy
A lot of good things working in combination there, i like the look of the orange/black/white foils , i assume the white is meant to be in the water when at speed and seems to be sitting really nicely. It seems to ride slightly bow high and use the tapering foil area to regulate the ride height, but it's dead smooth. Possibly the best yet would you say Ian , a rig size down twin skin might well bust the speed record, 34kmph ??
hello again, yes I agree, might work better at a smaller size for stronger winds. The orange/white/black foils are for stronger winds, the bigger foils at the very beginning of the video are intended for marginal foiling conditions. That was their first outing/
Love it, i made a 3 wheeled one for land sailing , for low tide on the beach , very fun toy ! Very nice foiling ! Great job !
