Do not leave those kind of units running without remaining on the trigger. That’ll kill your pump, too. The water running through the pump is what keeps it cool
@@DIYDiesel oh I understand too cold..lol detailing cars in 40 degree weather blows..so yes, if you want to wait till it’s warmer..by all means! 😊 My husband and I used our pressure washer on our neighbors sidewalk and porch..if you want, I have video of that on my channel..it’s not a long one. We didn’t get to test the other attachments, it was getting dark and cooling off. But we love ours, it’s the same one you have I think, the 3200psi predator. It’s the video that says “love at first stripe” lol here’s the link to my video ua-cam.com/video/WZdUSblraEw/v-deo.html
Any idea what I should do to make sure the pump doesn't have any standing water in it? Starting to get pretty chilly in southern Minnesota. Figured I could just blow it out with an air compressor but I figured I should ask the expert.
@@DIYDiesel Ohhh alright alright. I thought you were saying it should be bone dry in there before it hits freezing Temps. I should be good then, thanks!
@mhc2984 its the low oil protect..when you angle it to roll it..causes the oil to shoft to one side makes it think its low on oil...safety feature..adjust the handle so that when u move the pw it doesnt lay so hard
No just hit the switch The gas shut off is for transportation. I like to turn it off every time though after I hit the switch. Some people never even turn the gas shut off valve off.
Yo buddy what's up. Been a minute since I seen any of your videos on my feed. My #2 injector on my lbz went out since last time I talked to you. I'm just replacing the one injector and hoping it'll be OK. After a guy I know got it running #2 was the only one with a crazy balance rate so.... fingers crossed
Yeah atleaset I know what's wrong with it now. I'm going to get an electric pressure washer to clean my vehicles with. If you're going to clean your driveway they have cheap disc attachments for smaller pressure washers that works pretty good if you're going to be doing your driveway. I used the b&s one from lowes for awhile. They've also got a soap attachment so you can mix up a bucket of cleaner at a time and stick a hose it has in it to feed from there
I bought one last week put it together gas/oil tried to pull cord for starter and it wouldn’t pull. I messed with it for about 20 minutes and still couldn’t get the dam thing to pull or crank over. Boxed up the POS and took it right back to Harbor Freight. They tried to charge me a 40 dollar restocking fee for a pressure washer that didn’t work. I told them to go pound sand I want my full refund. Tge manager came up and told tgem to refund tge entire amound paid. Done with this place!!
Here is your MANDATORY run procedure. Hook up water hose from spigot at the house. Turn on the spigot. Hook up the pressure hose to the pressure washer. Hook up the wand. Pull the wand trigger WITH ENGINE OFF and let the pressure hose and wand fill with water and it will start to squirt out the business end. Now you KNOW your pump impeller is wet and not dry. He started his machine first time without water...OH BOY...that's not a good thing to do. Once you verify water flow through the wand, NOW you can start your gas engine. When you shut down, hit the kill switch and then shut off spigot. Then pull the wand switch and let the water drain out. NOTE - many people suggest you use pump impeller protector (lube). StaBil sells it at Walmart for like $8 in a little spray can with the right nozzle to hook up to a pressure washer. This isn't mandatory but I do it because it only takes a second to do it! And that can will last a long time.
That’s how you kill them… running it without water
Just got one Yesterday can't wait to use my foam cannon 😎
What foam cannon do you have?

Thought I would see the attachments being demonstrated. Thanks for the video
I can most certainly do that, and an update on my opinions on the pressure washer.
@@DIYDiesel that would be awesome 😁I’m especially interested in the pencil attachment but yeah thank you 😊
@@JamieTheSassenachLass I’ll put it on the list! Gotta wait for the temperature to get warmer out lol

you have to connect the water before turning it on

Sta-bil pressure washer pump protector 👍
@@DIYDiesel Ohhh alright alright. I thought you were saying it should be bone dry in there before it hits freezing Temps. I should be good then, thanks!
Do you leave the detergent hose connected to the pump even when not using detergent?
Ya I do
Mine is hard to start after running for 15 minutes. Had to wait half hour before it would even start again
No te paso que las puntas al conectar están flojas y sale el agua por todos lados?
Does anybody else’s stall while just moving it around? Is it supposed to do this as a safety feature? I’ve never had one do this.
I gotta say I don’t move it around much when it’s running I’m running it tomorrow so I’ll see
@@DIYDiesel when I’m pressure washing my house I’ll move it 10-15 feet and it’ll die in 2 feet of rolling. It never had a washer do this.

Is there a certain way to shut it off like first turn off the gas then the switch and specific order?

Got it thank you might be buying this one today for 260

Mine lost pressure today , about 2 months of using it daily . Can’t figure it out for the life of me
That’s not good mine is still going strong. Wonder if you can still return it
You will burn the pump up running without water hooked to it!
Voided the warranty😂😂in so many ways

Get a foam cannon for it
I bought one years ago I’ll have to see if I can find it
I wish more UA-camrs would open box use then do all that dam talking we don't give a dam about fr
too much talking
You don't know how to take care of the pressure washer. At first you didn't know how to do it. You're very bad at teaching.
