@@motorcarnut i just got my today but water spells all over but i just realize y put compressor oil stupid right what i should do now cleaning empty all oil and out 1040 or wht ty
Just got mine Yesterday can't wait to wash my cars and use a foam cannon, had 2 electric ones pumps went out, never again, gas is the way to go for pressure washers, more constant power and pressure 😎
I've used this sprayer several times now on brick pavers, a wood deck, patio, and a driveway. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX It has performed as expected on all surfaces. For larger areas like the decks and patios, I think I will be looking into a surface cleaner attachment to speed up the job, or at least make it a little easier. Hose and sprayer connections are tool-less, tight, and quick. I used the yellow nozzle on the concrete/brick surfaces, and the pressure was adequate for cleaning those surfaces.I am disappointed that these units are still being shipped with a nozzle storage holder that allows them to vibrate out of the holder way too easily and become lost, but I don't want to knock off a star for that reason. The functional part of the washer works very well, so I would recommend this product.
Just a tip, before turning off idle it all the way down before turning off. Good habit for all engines. Its hard on them to go from running wide open to instantly shut off
I got one of these today. I was excited to try it out but am having problems with mine. It will start on full choke but will cut out on run. Oil type and amount is correct and I’m using ethanol free fuel. I’m reluctant to even check the carburetor because it’s a brand new power washer. I will likely return it.
That doesn't make any sense. All you do is switch to a different nozzle other than the black soap and when you spray a little soap comes out then stops, simple.
@@motorcarnut Hell I dunno man. I'm just relaying what I read in the manual. It said "detergent could become embedded in the surface" when using higher powered nozzles.
I have the exact same one..hoping we can still power wash floor mats without shredding them. We just got ours 2 days ago..I know not to get mega close to them lol
Got mine for $399. First 2 days worked fine...last few started surging (not sure if that's normal) also the plastic line connected to the soap dispenser is clogged with water looks like the seal is stuck in the hole so water is overflowing out the dispenser box. Going to return and try again (no I didn't put any liquid in it).
I need a washer that will work with 300-500 foot of water hose. Some can pump from a portable tank or 500 feet of 3/4” water hose. The pump on the one you’re testing does look like it is made from brass.
Hello, I am actually watching your video since I want to get this same model. When cleaning the concrete, do you add any additive to the tank other that just the special detergent? Say Clorox? Thank you!
Actually . for the concrete unless its for disinfecting , just the pressure of the water should be all you need. The detergent tank is for laying the soap on at a low pressure. I'm not sure if you can use other cleaners in the tank, got to check owners manual.
This looks almost identical (besides colors) to my Westinghouse 3200psi gas pressure washer. The only differences are the soap reservoir and the valve orientation at the rear where the hoses hook on. Mine has only lasted about 2 years before some internal clogging has occurred and now water spills into the soap dispenser and is pressurized enough to pop the lid off the soap reservoir…
@@motorcarnut They always tell me that when an item is already sale priced a coupon cant be used. One or the other, not both. So whats up with that??? I am an inside track club member also.
How old is it? And what do you mean doesn’t start well? Is it hard to get it going? All depends if it’s still under warranty that’s why I ask how old it is.
Just used mine today. After 15 minutes of use I shut it down to move furniture. Would not start. Had to wait 30 minutes before it would start again. My boy bought a 4400psi. Had the same problem. His even had a backfire problem.
I’m not real impressed with Harbor Freight at the moment. Second time this has happened to me . I start researching one of there products in hopes to buy it and all of a sudden the price jumps up to as mush as the rest of the competition. I was going to buy this pressure washer but within a day of researching it jumps up to $449. Sorry Harbor Freight but I just purchased the Simpson Mega Shot with the Honda engine for the same price.
How do you like the Simpson? They are all the same price, but I actually see better reviews on the predator. I'm wondering if we're getting to the point where Harbor Freight quality is better than some of the name brands? I would trust the Honda engine more, but these pressure washers seem to have other problems to worry about.
Do you ever feel this 3200 psi could damage paint on a car or run the risk or ever want a lower pressure for car washing or is it pretty safe with common sense?
40 degrees. Most brands you the same colors for their nozzles. The pressure doesn’t change but the concentration of stream does. That’s the most important. You can have a 1200 psi washer and if you use the wrong tip, it will damage the paint as well.
I got this unit. Works great except while it’s running when I go to move it to a different spot it dies. Is this a new safety feature or is there a fault with the machine? Anybody know?
The numbers on the craftsman were not as good but like someone else said, who knows if the numbers are accurate. But the HF does have a Honda clone engine and I got it for a great price and it's a great machine I use it all the time.
@@motorcarnut was looking for a used one and I found it for 100 but it wouldn’t start so they gave it to me and I took the carburetor apart and the screw that has the hole was clogged up and now it works like new. It took me maybe 10 minutes to fix it.

I buy one too today for $369
Good deal and great machine. Remember you have to fill it with oil Before using it.

No problem, it may be obvious to some but not to others and will destroy the engine and they won’t take it back.
