    You have the best tutorials on YT. I've watched a bunch. A lot of them show 10 seconds of video and then lecture for 10 minutes. It seems to me they love to show their faces on YT rather than showing the real swimming. You do a great job.

    Thank You!!! Everyone has always said to get Elbows up but never showed how to do it. You are the first out of hundreds of videos that Actually showed me how to do it and giving demos on dry land IS Great!!! Thank you so much. You are awesome!!!!!❤

    Ok, I understand, I always practice cycling and swimming in the summer, considering that I am a beginner and I swim and ride a bike recreationally and I am 45 years old, I ride a bike in the summer and from this year I started the season when I can't ride a bike only to swim. I can't run because I'm asthmatic and a smoker. You explained all the exercises very well and how I can improve my swimming styles, Thank you

    You seem to be looking quite far forward and your head looks like it’s rising up at an angle? Is that correct positioning? I’ve read in many books that your head needs to be flat with the angle of the water. 0-15 dev mot 20-30 degrees parallel to water

    Ok watched it! If you stay in the gliding position for as long as you can (what I’ve been trying to do) do your legs eventually drop down? I’m horizontal on the surface while I’m moving forward, it’s when I finally stop and try to stay in that position that my legs slowly start to drop down. Is that normal or is there a weakness somewhere in my posture?

    • @ektatina1766
      @ektatina1766 Рік тому

      Your legs only drop when you try to lift your head up . Put your head down and legs automatically come up even if you don't kick

    So I just downloaded the App. I usually swim with my apple watch. Will there be an autonomous Apple Watch Version, so I dont need the phone to choose my workout? I always leave my phone in the locker so it wont get stolen.

    • @SwimUp
      @SwimUp  4 роки тому +2

      Hi! Actually, you do not need to take your iPhone to the pool :)
      Just choose a workout in the iphone app and open the app on your apple watch before leaving it in the locker. You will see that this workout is delivered to your Watch app. Then you are free to leave your iPhone in the locker.
      The workout is on your Watch and you can swim it to the end. Results of the workout will be sent to iPhone once connection is established.
      Please try to do it once and let us know if something doesn’t work, we are here to help!

    If my head isn't lifted how can I see where am I heading to?

    • @ShawnFumo
      @ShawnFumo 3 роки тому +1

      Well, you're looking down and forward in the water. In a pool the water is clear and there are parallel lines painted to help you stay in your lane, as well as perpendicular lines near the end of the pool to warn you so you don't hit the wall by accident.
      Keep in mind this is the fastest and most energy efficient technique. Say you're just out on a lake and looking for a landmark to swim toward. There's no reason you can't lift your head to look around or even stop and tread water a while and continue. The difference is you're making the choice to sacrifice some speed/energy in order to see above water for a moment. What you don't want is to be lifting your head with every breath just because it is a habit. Say you're 10 mins from shore, you may only need to look every 2 mins to make sure you're still on track.
