Thank you so much I appreciate you I was wrecking my brain trying to figure out how to put my lights up or outdoor patio look the same thanks again we might be in the same neighborhood Merry Christmas
was just looking online for solutions with out drilling. i used these originally but they are made for a smooth flat service, so ima try it with that instead. thanks!
Love this idea I just moved to new home az all concrete love ti decorate my question is when u remove command hooks d'Ors it take exterior off just asking
I would assume any texture you have will be removed along with the fastener creating more of a problem than a small hole which could be hidden when needed. I may be wrong.
It didn't remove the texture on the concrete wall. The adhesive stayed behind, creating a little more texture. It came off the command hook easier because of the smooth texture.
Great idea thanks for sharing! Was about to put up lights in our backyard area on the concrete/stucco. How has the command clip hook and not the adhesive up so far? Are the hooks built to last a long time even during very hot weather?
Thank you for the vid! I'd like to buy the same lights, but hang them across (where they'd be free hanging) do you think this method would support the weight of the lights? How have yours held up so far?
This video is 2 years old but SO necessary. Thanks a million
@@ksquared2618 thank you. It was easiest thing to do.
Thank you for making this video! There are not too many videos out there about hanging lights on concrete without drilling :)
Thank you! I got the idea from an employee at Lowes.
Did the hooks last?!!
This is a great idea, thank you! I'm currently renting and didn't feel like making screw holes and what not. I will definitely try this method 👍
Just makes sure it sets for 24 hrs
You are a genius!!! I bought the clear command hooks and tried to stick it to the concrete wall and of course it didn’t stick. Will try this out.
Worked like a charm!!! Just let it dry before hanging anything
Does the glue dry clear or does it remain white?
Super thanks for sharing this. My balcony has same textured wall and I didn't want to drill or nail either... This is perfect!
yes, ma'mam. I did a similar thing with large hooks from Amazon, used E6000. Let dry overnight for curtain rods. Worked greatly.
Thank you 1000 times over. This was just the video I needed
My lights are still hanging on strong!

Thank you!! Been search for a solution and you nailed it! Thanks so much for sharing
Thanks for watching
Yes sis I will definitely you those command strips for my pool area. Your patio came out so cute especially since you have plants
Thank you

I would have never thought of this! Thanks for sharing! 👏👏👏
This is genius!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Thanks! Anything to avoid drilling into concrete
Thank you for making this video. Your a life saver
Great idea. I used to have a dog that looked like him named Samson 😢.
Thank you for showing us.. I have exact wall and didn't want to buy concrete drill bit, concrete nails, etc.... 🤗♥️
It was so easy
Need more Samson videos
He's a big boy now. He's in almost all my videos, lol
This is great. Do you think it would work on non-painted concrete- specifically, the ceiling?
@@LumiereLaDiDa as long as you wiped the dust away from the dry concrete
Thankyouuuuuu for sharing this! 🫶🏾
Am going to try this soon, thank you for sharing this video
Super helpful! Thank you! (Also big fan of Sampson)
Best puppy ever
great job... thank you. and oh btw what an adorable puppy ;-)
Thank you so much
Thank you! Very helpful. Exactly what I needed. Hi, Samson! :)
Glad it helped!!! Catch a recent video to see how big Samson has grown!

The adhesive actually stays behind and becomes like the concrete. It does dry white so you may need to paint it to match whatever color you have.

Has anyone taken these off and seen if any damage? Thanks for the video!
No damage to concrete but the plastic hooks will break. A little adhesive is left behind.
Thank you! Great idea.
I'm going to give this a try...but i am going to use the hooks on a privacy fence at my rental apt. Crossing my fingers😊
Sounds like a great idea
Nice job! Thanks for the tip!
Nicely done!
Thank you. It was so quick and easy
What about newly painted walls? They just painted our apartment and I wanted to make sure I don’t damage the new paint
@@tw2667 the adhesive stayed behind when I pulled off one command hook
I love the glue stuff I will be buying that this weekend what ft bulbs did you buy

They lasted two years in Florida heat before I moved
How easy is the glue compound to remove without damaging the concrete? Asking given that we live in an apartment. Thanks!
The glue didn't come off. That was one thing I noticed after pulling off the hook. Painting it to match the wall blends it right in.
Cute !! And sampson cuter !!! ❤

My lights are still hanging strong. My extension cord also hangs on the clear hooks. I'm very happy with this method.
@@champagnegardening5182 Thanks!!
Thank you!!!!
Thank you. Please fix your mic because it was hard to hear. Very helpful.
I was using my phone. Hopefully I can get a nice camera and mic soon. Thanks for the tip!
we're in Florida, wonder if it will hold up in the heat. Looks awesome!!
It's been holding up so far!
@@champagnegardening5182 good to know! Thanks.
Command hooks will not work in a humid climate. Good idea with the glue
The glue held up like a champ. This was done in the fall when it's not as humid in Florida.
@@champagnegardening5182how does the wall look when you take off the strip with glue? Does it take parts of wall off? Or look bad?

Smart lady
Thank you
Thank you! 🙏
Thank you!,
looks nice been looking for a vid like this! Now quick question what to do if you need to remove/reposition? Thanks
Comes off with a lot of pressure! But you will probably break the clear command hook and will need to replace it.
Will it take off the paint from the concrete wall?
What is the name of your materials?

The construction adhesive is from Lowe's. And the clear command hooks from Target.
Where you buy
Is this renter friendly? Are you able to remove it if needed?
Same question! Would love to hang some lights this way but worried that it won’t come off.:/
@@krazziib agree, when removed is there damage left over?
Of any damage is left just get stucco filler and paint , I'm sure this won't make huge holes
Is the glue weatherproof?
It says that it is but my patio is enclosed. It dries really hard so I would hope so.
Will it peel off paint on painted concrete?
It actually stays behind. I've pulled one off to check. It might peel if it's smoother concrete
Could you use gorilla glue?
I'm not sure but that's a good thought.
That’s stucco not concrete
