Hi I'm Joe and my hands are NEVER dirty.
One of the best small black assembly videos I have seen, excellent work. Thumbs up on the emphasis and importance of lube prior to first start.
The younger guy knows his shit and explains things very well
Joe Elmore has an amazing voice!
This would be a great engine for an old S10.
These guy's are great for motor building that's for sure.. I love all the little tricks and math involved in getting that extra out of a motor..
Helps a WHOLE LOT when they have a $55,000 engine dyno in a $15M building that none of them paid for.
Jacked up prices by Jegs and Summit and other smaller sponsors are how they stayed on the air as long as they did.
I always thought that ARP recommended no lube under the washer just between the washer and the head of the nut or bolt
fate of to see next time
❤❤❤❤❤
10 to 1 is not the limit on pump gas I have run 11.5 to one on 93 no problem and with better carb and AFR heads that would be a beast all though the summit heads are not that bad
This was made probably 10 years or more ago.
You can measure the combustion chamber volume all you want, but since you didn't correct the piston height in each cylinder it's a waste of time.
Good engine. Would like to see a different carb. Bet 5 to 10 extra horses different carb swap
Which carb would you put on it?
Didn't Joe and Chuck previously build a 383 stroker back in the late '90s?
The Power Nation 2 channel is all re-runs.
Which is a relevant answer@@craigstark2712
You're perceptive @@craigstark2712
That carb is junk that thing is proof that you get what you pay for
Lapping the valves in is so not a good way for performance... the purpose for a.multiple angle valve job is to control the width of the seat and lapping the valves make way to wide of a seat and that is a good way to burn a valve seat especially the exhaust valves and a wide seat doesn't flow well at all
Booooo!!!! where is the 305 Stroker video!?
build one and post them up on here.
Hey… they built one and have teased for over 2 months now… and also said the first or second week of march they would upload it… just calling them out on it that’s all. Sucker made well over 500 horse
