First I've seen of the P.1111, kudos to the builder and flyer. I can now see how far ahead Germany was when it came to aircraft design. The P.1110 and P.1111 were comparable to stuff that only came out 30-40 years later.
The later designs CAME from Lippisch's designs, and why wouldnt you use a pre tested models attributes, this design is actually most like the British Vampyre and the American voodoo series starting with the Macdonnell XF 88 Voodoo.
Thank you very much, _James_. I already have a positive message regarding the great comments received from Roland. He is very excited. _best regards, Horst_
Thank you my friend. Yes, this is a wonderful and very rare plane. Robert has build also a giant Me P.1110 Unfortunately the weather of last weekend was not so good and therefore he could not fly it. Here are some pictures of it from 2012 farm8.staticflickr.com/7276/7519830258_b338d58297_o.jpg farm9.staticflickr.com/8013/7519829920_1b49c55dbc_o.jpg farm9.staticflickr.com/8021/7519829500_a1dcba8fbd_o.jpg
***** If you want to build a plane without having an example, it becomes a hard work of study and working hours until the raw construction is done. The modellers club of Roland has built also a giant Me262 For the FW190 you should have a look to my uploaded videos. _Best regards, RCSA_
Great work Horst! Amazing machine - and beautifully flown - I thought it looked very close to the stall on landing, but the pilot obviously knew better - such a smooooth landing!
Thank you for your great comment, _Sam_ It was very windy that day. Due to the camera zoom, the speed of the plane looked much slower than it was. Roland had everything under control. :) _Best regards, Horst_
What a great looking and flying plane, looks like it could be a hand full but the pilot seemed to have it under control, another great vid, Thanks a lot.
Beautiful video, Horst. Did Mister Maier build these planes (P.1111 and P.1110) from scratch, or are they kit planes? I truly enjoy watching these early experimental designs recreated and flown by good pilots like Roland Maier.
Was that a design by Lippish ? He was a proponent of a tailless plane. And this also looks like a remarkable glider. Nice job bringing it to life ! Kudos to German engineering !
What a superb and innovative model.Tend to imagine it is not the easiest to fly - plus always wonder in such styles how to find the exact balance point! Yes - super sweet landing.
Good job on the video Horst! Nice jet - really cuts through the air nicely and Very quiet! Nice landing - I think it has good shocks! LOL Until next time Horst - Take Care! Ron
I really don't know the reason of the landing gear swapping out and in all the time. I don't think that the air pressure was to low, otherwise the gears will not come out after the flight.
Another magnificent aircraft, the landing was textbook perfect, thanks for another great video! This aircraft looked like it could fly much faster, can it? Is the lateral stability a problem?
blacken drone _sorry, I forgot to answer your questions._ The planes was taken from the book *Secret Projects of Messerschmitt* and drawn by a colleague of the pilot. I'm not sure if this book is available also in English. Check it out >>> g.co/kgs/ysA3Cq _Best regards_
Beautiful plane and flight. Looks like old Willy designed that wing with a pretty hard sweep angle. Curious what degree sweep that is. More sweep than most flying wing designs, even for back then. Great video. Thanks for uploading.
Yes, this is a very nice plane and it was many years ahead of the former designs. The end of WWII prevented that the project could be completed. Thanks for watching and your great comment. Much appreciated !!!
wow....very impressive plane!!! great flying video as always man.....did this plane ever actually fly? i mean the real one....it looks like a design of world war 2!!! am guessing it was designed as a high altitude interceptor for the allied bombers!!
Thank you for your great comment. The Me P.1111 has never being built. It was under construction at the very end of WW2. For more informations please have a look at the links, mentioned in the video description. _Best regards, Horst_
Amazing model, Horst, great video too! I am unfamiliar with this design. Was a full-size version ever built? Or was it one of those "might-have-been" designs?? Superb job by the pilot as well, thanks for posting another wonderful video! Cheers, Dougal
The main difficulty Germany faced during the end of the war was a shortage off Chromium needed to manufacture the jet engine blades. having only enough chromium to apply an outer coating to such heat critical parts of the engine produced engines that were unreliable and being only good for about 10 hrs of service.
+1965wazza I'm thinking wind and pilot co-ordination issues...this looks to be a 2nd or 3rd flight. (note the landing gear issues in some turn with the starboard gear)
Great Job! Please tell me you built this plane yourself. If so any build thread? Ive never even seen drawings to this plane before..meaning I had no idea the Nazi's had this in mind.

Outstanding Plane. Flown expertly. I have never in my life ever seen or heard of the ME P.1111.
That looks more modern than later russian Mig 15 and even Mig 19 or those american sabre jets....in 1945 this was 20 years
ahead of its time!
The later designs CAME from Lippisch's designs, and why wouldnt you use a pre tested models attributes, this design is actually most like the British Vampyre and the American voodoo series starting with the Macdonnell XF 88 Voodoo.
That was absolutely fantastic Horst. Give my respects to the builder and the pilot.
Thank you very much, _James_. I already have a positive message regarding the great comments received from Roland. He is very excited.
_best regards, Horst_
I had never even heard of this one. I had to "wiki" it in fact. That was a butter-smooth landing!

Beautiful! You have NO idea how jealous I am of you for being able to film or even see this this stuff!
***** Common _Jeff_. You don't have be envious of what I do not own :)
I would like to shoot around as you can in the US !
Have a nice weekend !!!

What a beautiful aircraft. Well done.
John Norris _Thank you for the compliments, John. Much appreciated !_
What a great looking and flying plane, looks like it could be a hand full but the pilot seemed to have it under control, another great vid, Thanks a lot.
1:27 mmmm problems with the landing gear?. whatever. great video!!! i really enjoyed it ;)
Beautiful video, Horst. Did Mister Maier build these planes (P.1111 and P.1110) from scratch, or are they kit planes? I truly enjoy watching these early experimental designs recreated and flown by good pilots like Roland Maier.
Very cool you don't see many of these in RC Jets Great job Horst Big Thumbs Up..Tim
Amazing aeroplane, great filming as usual Horst.
a very nice flying display, and a beautiful landing. Good job.
Thank you for your compliments, which I really appreciate.
_Best regards, RCSA_
This was so cool I had to look it up. I have never seen anything quite like it! The pilot made that loop look effortless too. Thanks!
Thank you for your kind comment! This plane is very rare and maybe the only one flying so far.
Was that a design by Lippish ? He was a proponent of a tailless plane. And this also looks like a remarkable glider. Nice job bringing it to life ! Kudos to German engineering !
Not sure if it was Mr. Lippisch who designed it. No information on Wiki.

Beautiful plane..! Thumbs up!
Many thanks _Edwin_ !
Now that's a flying wing.Excellent Horst,top banana mate.
Thanks _Mark_. As always, your comments are much appreciated !!!
Great scale flying ans landing! Beautiful plane.
Thank you very much !!!
Just me or did the left main keep "Popping" open and then going back up?
Thank you for sharing, another amazing video!
Thank you for watching and commenting !
Bonjour Horst,
Aussergewöhnliche und seltene Flugzeug,
Freundlichen grüsse
Beautiful. Was the 1111 supposed to have "stealth" capabilities, (i.e. invisible to radar?)
Best landing I've ever seen!
So smooth.......
Thanks _Captain_ !
It looks like a beefed up ME 163. Also, do you have any Horten 229 footage?
Louis Gordon Was thinking that it looked like a jet powered 163!
Another nice video and great plane!
Was that plane ever built ? Awesome plane just wondering .
Please follow the link in the video description for more information. _thanks !!!_
Yep they were working on it , I watched the link, I watch a lot of history just didn't remember . Awesome plane .
Amazing, looks like lots of fun!
Than k you. Yes ... it was fun for the pilot because it's easy to fly.
Ein tolles Flugzeug ! !

1A, Horst :-)
Was the air pressure for the retracts not hi enougth. Is that why the wheel would lower on a upward climb.
I really don't know the reason of the landing gear swapping out and in all the time. I don't think that the air pressure was to low, otherwise the gears will not come out after the flight.
Look. The blueprint is not a joke, it can actually fly
Wow, now this is a cool aircraft to make a model of. Well done :-)
Thank you very much !!!
German Aeronautical Engineering ⚙️🇩🇪 !!
Another magnificent aircraft, the landing was textbook perfect, thanks for another great video! This aircraft looked like it could fly much faster, can it? Is the lateral stability a problem?
Now. that's a beauty, sir!
Beautiful and unusual. Where did you get the 3 view and tech drawings to design this airplane.
JAYMON DAVIS _Thank you for watching and commenting._
I will ask the pilot about where he got the blueprint from.
did the pilot respond I am also in love with this plane I would love to build it
Not yet. I am currently looking at some plastic model as a means to design a set of plans.

This is awesome!!! Were there any other aircraft that were "left on the drawing board"?
Yes the Focke Wulf 3 x 1000! Look at this awesome airplane at RC scale!
Greets NF
Wow!! Way cool! Great video as always my friend! Cheers!
Thank you my dear friend. It's always a pleasure to see you here.
_Best regards, Horst_
Where on earth did you get the info on that baby!!!!
thats a great looking model, thumbs up :)

excellent!! another master at work!
Very cool. Maybe the ME P.1112 could be next.
+AARONANKRUM *_could be, but it's another one ... TOP SECRET !!!_*
_thanks for watching and commenting_
Nice, looks like your landing gear was flopping around
How about a hidden Gopro camera?
Amazing model, Horst, great video too! I am unfamiliar with this design. Was a full-size version ever built? Or was it one of those "might-have-been" designs?? Superb job by the pilot as well, thanks for posting another wonderful video! Cheers, Dougal
Thanks _Dougal_. Just now I've added some links at the video description.
_Best regards, Horst_
cooles video horst, super gefilmt :)
Great looking model, doesn't look like it's easy to fly though.
Very nice plane!.
Was this just a concept or was it actually on the drawing board in 1945?

+Josef Venport nickel too it makes metal really hard
Fantastic airplane!
Congratulations to everyone :O
Many thanks. Much appreciated !!!
Very cool! However it needs a pilot figure to add to the more realism of the plane.Other than great flight.
Seems to be exhibiting Dutch roll during low speed turn to final. Fullscale would have been interesting!!
+1965wazza I'm thinking wind and pilot co-ordination issues...this looks to be a 2nd or 3rd flight. (note the landing gear issues in some turn with the starboard gear)
The McDonell XF88 Voodoo was like totally original like...ppft
For that time, this was space age!
So mature Iroeki.

Thank you for posting this beautiful remarkable airplane.
Very cool
thank you _Bill_
With a decent engine, I think this would have been superior to any fighter in the Korean war.
Yes als the Horten 9 GO 229 with enhanced BMW / SNECMA turbines
Parabéns !
It Christmas !!! Gift it to plzzzz
