I’m really pissed to see that on every eddsworld video, i keep finding comments saying “iTs so sAD ThAt EDD’S gOne, Tord lEft, tOm quiT, and mAtt is alOne”. Well sorry to break it to ya, but all you’re doing is reminding the crew of what happened. They are trying to move on, WE are trying to move on. But comments like this keep making us dwell in the past. Of course we miss Edd, of course we miss Tord, and of course we miss Tom. But this is a new generation of Eddsworld and we should be proud to be in it.
NOTE: I’m not saying it’s wrong to miss, make a memorial, or honor them. I’m just saying that this is not the time nor place; if you want to write something about that topic, please go to a video where it’s suitable. THIS IS BLOOPERS FOR GOD’S SAKE. (Don’t take it the wrong way.)
Genuinely. It’s kind of upsetting that so many comments are comparing new changes to original eddsworld instead of opening up to new takes on voices, episodes, etc. We’re not getting Edd, Tord, or Tom in showrunning or main voice acting positions anytime soon, and it makes me wish that people would just welcome what we have now because I truly think it has a ton of great aspects that aren’t highlighted as much in comment sections.
I think Tom’s new actor sounds too enthusiastic for his brooding and hilarious character, but they’re having fun and the new content looks promising, so good luck for the future
@@anonymouslucario285 not really a fault of the voice actor It’s just difficult to replace Tom’s voice and it’s hard to adjust to a new voice for Toms character
I actually think he _sounds_ a lot like Tom, the issue is more with the delivery. He’s putting too much energy into it; Tom is supposed to be more deadpan.
I really like how the show's been revived again, plus I think the actors for Edd and Tom sound great! (When I first heard Tom's it was a bit odd since it's a bit different) As they say, Edd may be gone, but his world will keep on spinning.
I love George playing as Edd! A great call for his role both in respect of Edd, and it's so touching you can really hear the resemblance. I also remember in past interviews, Tom mentioned that Edd was an interesting voice actor to work with because he delivered lines very nonchalantly and casually, which could be good for natural sounding dialogue, but also hilariously agitating because at times he'd be pretty stubborn on not putting more *umph* into his lines. I never knew Edd personally, but that first blooper take reminded me so much of him! Dry humor runs in the family, and it's honestly really sweet to hear. Thank you Tom for your past work and the current crew for continuing and respecting the Eddsworld legacy. George, you're a natural! ♥️
