He felled kinda stiff and slow what I used to like about fight night was how you could continue to hit the opponent after the knockout I just wish it had an impact on if they could get back up

It should work with UNDISPUTED, the animations look just like we boxing fans wanted in a game. with its animations and the UNDISPUTED licenses and the footwork it would be perfect!!
And if they can team up and make a decent story/career mode, mini boxing training games!!! 🤯 this game would be bigger than 2k and madden. And once all the boxers see that, they’ll be dying to be in the game. I’m too excited 😂 it most likely won’t happen tho
the licence is what fcked undisputed up in the first place, that sht aint cheap. They shouldve spent those resources on getting the striking and other movements right first, you know, actual boxing, instrad fckin around with lcensing and story modes etc just so the game can appeal to casuals. I told them nd ea but they aint listen now it looks like this game will make em pay for that.
@@MultiLex101 idk they need big names to promote it. This game looks gorgeous but it hasn’t blown up let because no big name is attached with it but it’s also suppose to be a kickboxing game not boxing lol so that could have something to do with it too

This is exactly what I've been waiting for. The legs, they actually bend. The fighters throw from their hips. You can see the power in the punches. The sound of the footwork on the canvas, the exhale as the fighters punch, the contact of the punches. They're not stood bolt upright. It looks fully dynamic. Wow. This is brilliant.
I'm having trouble understanding why a small team of developers can create a realistic boxing experience while Steel City Interactive, despite being an indie developer themselves, has been working on this game for almost 4 years and still hasn't been able to make punches look as smooth. There doesn't seem to be any explanation for it. They probably have better equipment and more staff, so why is it so challenging for them to make the boxers in their game throw punches like this? I just don't understand and I'm really struggling with it. I don't mean to be rude, I'm just genuinely curious.

The Punches Animations was left out. They do Mocap but the Punches still Look awful, i dont get it Eather.
It's genuinely incredible. I have watched this video almost 10 times, and I'm in awe that a small group of developers are able to do this, and steel City have been at this for 4 years and it doeent look as good. @@theuzm2959 Its deeper than punch animations.. yes, most of the punches looks better, not all, the impact is very bad rn on both game, but even more on that new game.
The footwork is very bad, the game look like a mobile, no license, the body punches are not good, the punches look robotic etc etc..
So yeah, i say it again, y'all need to stop the cap, and i'm NOT a defender of undisputed, i'm really dissapointed with Undisputed, especially the mentality who's no towards sim boxing.. But yeah, that game is not better than undisputed, thankfully tho, it would be a shame.

This is miles ahead of undisputed, what bothers me the most about these developers is that they don’t understand that we really don’t need the roster of real life fighters. We just need an authentic boxing game with good mechanics and that’s fun to play.
100% also a good creation suite.

I've stopped playing Undisputed very poor boxing mechanics. Waste of money, It just doesn't flow right. The punches are just not correct, and the knockdown mini game is ridiculous, and you can't turn the stupid thing off. No, this from Overhaninteractative looks like a boxing sim. I need this. I NEED THIS!

This is looking like it will turn out to be one of the better combat sports games on the market. It'll be great competition for Undisputed. The last developer round table for Undisputed showed the fixes they've implemented to give the punches the fluidity and impact we've been asking for, so don't sleep on Undisputed as its going to be great as well. Also, I'm seeing folks mentioning that a big company like EA should get behind this. To that, I would say a big NEGATIVE lol. EA has already proven that they have no respect for physics in their combat sports titles. In my opinion, EA doesn't differentiate combat sports titles from "fantasy" fighting titles like Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur, etc, the characters have zero footwork and just slide around the ring like they're ice skating. EA hasn't shown any interest in correcting this either, as UFC 5, their most recent combat sports title still has the "slidey" stiff movement, so please gents lets leave EA out of this lol.

Anyone who doesn’t believe that the gameplay for this game isn’t better than Undisputed is delusional beyond words. The developers for Undisputed need to wake up immediately because what they’ve released so far is NOT good enough.

Damn if we can get different stances and different punch sets. Oooooweeeeeee! Im loving the fact you can angle and counter. This game is looking potentially special. Also I really want a game that will incorporate a lot of freedom with character customisation. Undisputed has a good level of character creation but i feel like with AI coming through technically, surely there is something that can be done with ai to give us that freedom to create characters. But this game in terms of gameplay and the mechanics of boxing this is the closest that ive seen that replicates boxing! I have high hopes for this as well as all the other boxing games coming through! The more the better 🙌🏾

This game definitely shows some things that undisputed definitely needs to capitalize on wish they’d outsource for certain things but hopefully at release it’s a great game I’m tired of playing fnc lmao

I never thought I’d write this but as an aside, I am finally enjoying undisputed on my steam deck. Lowered the settings but still really good graphics and controls. Now back to this video. My only concern so far is the speed of the punches seems a bit too Fast almost like a fighting game instead of the more arm and shoulder oriented boxing punches.
This is like a combo of what I like about UFC 5 and the Hajime no Ippo boxing games.
This game looks like the real deal, look at the punch animation compared to Undisputed. Absolutely spot on.

Always though Muay thai/ Kickboxing would be perfect for a game as grappling just doesn't translate well.
Cool that it will have boxing too, a career where you could fight in different rulesets would be cool (boxing, muay thai, K1, Bare knuckle, sanda, etc)

This is how Undisputed is suppose to move. Unfortunately it doesn’t and I’m gone pass on that game.
The head movement system is so incredibly janky in undisputed why in gods name they didn’t just had fight night style head movement I will never understand even with the new punching animations there gonna release I doubt they added more range of motion to the weave and it’s still gonna suck the problem with undisputed is you can’t pull counter or and slip multiple punches to set up a counter
Bro I honestly thought this is what Undisputed would flow like but in reality, it's kind of ass this game play is the cleanest of them all in the stage it's in now and I would pay money now for that product

For future games, they can even turn it into a MMA game. After Konami lost the k-1 right, in 2004 D3 released a k-1 kickboxing game, with a MMA options. It was trash, also the following yearly releases didn't had MMA, but they were horrible games. They did had nice graphics.
