Pros: I love that there's no special effects when there's a KO, most fighting and boxing games have this motion blur effect or camera goes wild etc. Not here, it's just normal on screen, there's a KO but nothing changes with the camera and no extra effects. That's great! I hope they keep it that way. Cons: Repetitive AI commentator. Seventy seconds into this and he's used that line three times already. "Are we about to witness..." 🥴
I did turn the ko special effects of but atleast it's an option. I like how you broke it down and gave pros and cons instead of the usual "fight night is better'
@@spinebender1 That's perfect, that you can choose to keep KO special effects on or off. Give the player the option, as it should be. Fight Night and/or UFC don't let you choose to turn it off if I remember it right. For Undisputed I would love if they also added bare knuckle boxing. They could make it as a DLC. And I would like it if they allowed AI versus AI with created players. I like to simulate events with created players and let the AI fight. I would also like to have amateur fights in the game with the fighters wearing headgear.
@jockejocke1 UFC 4 you can turn off the ko/rocked effect. A bare knuckle mode would be a fun mode as for the amateur mode. I think that is something they could add in career mode before you turn pro or maybe an online mode so you can get practice before entering ranked mode. Then having an amateur record and a pro (ranked) record
Its coming along but i hope the finished product has more feel to the punches landed, it just seems like glancing blows and light punches land and its always looking like a delayed reaction to the shot. Lots of potential though. And i hope they get young Mike Tyson in there.
This game isnt quite there yet sorry to say it. The models look great and the movement is something else. But the actual boxing mechanic is not good. The KO's don't look great and the boxers have no power. The stamina to punch ratio is all f-up. Needs some serious re-balancing here.
I'd tend to agree, I like the game because it slows it down. If the damage was how most people want it it would feel arcade like. Just trying for power punch flash knockouts constantly.
@@facelift5628 What bothers me the most was that my jab feels totally useless, and landing a power punch doesn't 't feel any different. A whole round of straight rights to the jaw should at least rock the dude once? Eventually when he did go down it all felt a bit flat.
@@olympicjbrag5913 yeah, I felt that way at first and then I started noticing the variation of jabs and if I'm just throwing a regular jab it's not for damage but for distance. If I want a jab damaging combo i started throwing a side step power straight combo, if the ai dodges the first jab and say goes for a body shot like it usually does, I slip it and power straight the face. I did that for a few rounds and lvl 4 cut joe Frazier. Also, there is damage modification at the start of every match. Online mod needs some alteration, sure. But I'd say connection issues first before damage changes
The knockdowns are so unrealistic, at least you could take a body shot and got down with a pain in the stomach and not like they gave you the “knockout of the year award”
Yeah they need to fix their animations when it comes down to the knockout. Some of the way the characters fall looks almost comical and almost laughable
Makes me really miss fight night champions. The spit and sweat. The replay system. This game could be more. Mostly I think that the knockout animations need to be spread up a little. And maybe have them bounce a little more when hitting the floor
