  • You might have the impression that Iran is an unsafe country, where you can't even walk around safely during the day, let alone at night. But the reality may be different from what most people think. Iran transforms at night, Street life spills over onto sidewalks in the evenings. Families socialize, friends gather at cafes, and vendors stay open later. The energy of Tehran city increases even more at night. People may be out of their homes until midnight, spending time with friends and family. The video you are watching was taken on a non-holiday and not a weekend.

In Mediterranean countries it is the same as here, shops are open longer, people gather in cafes and restaurants. Especially in Spain people would sometimes only enter the restaurants at about 9pm, enjoy their life in Tapas bars, eat and drink together...what I see here is not too far away from Spanish mentality😍👍

    Israeli here
My father is from teheran and came to Israel after the ayetulla revolution. I heard so many amazing things about Iran and the Iranian cousin is by far the most tasty, sophisticated and elegant.
My dream is to visit your country one days
Let’s hope one day I would be able to visit your country and you could visit mine

That was nice. I live in an Australian city and we have what we call cafe strips which a very similar. The one near me is around 4 km long and because we have a multicultural society the smell of foods from around the world fills the air, it's really nice. I'm surprised there is no music, that always adds to the vibrancy of the atmosphere. We are not much of a tourist city so everything is centered on families so everywhere you go whether it is to a park or the beech you always see families. It's a reflection of how safe your city is, Tehran looks safe.

It's great to hear! It's often surprising how different the reality can be from what's portrayed in the media.
i try to show the other side the media doesn't want people to know.

Really enjoyed watching your night walk in Tehran. In Scotland, our towns and cities are like ghost towns after 7pm. At weekends some of the larger cities such as Edinburgh and Glasgow are busy at night but it is mostly drunks and people coming out of pubs and acting stupid. All the best from Scotland. x

Hi guys, I live in the USA. I don't speak farsi as I was born here and never learned. My dad is an Iranian citizen who wants to move back. Should I think about moving as well or will I be treated a lot differently for being an American even though I'm persian. I'd love to give it a try but get nervous when I see talks about dual citizens getting arrested. Would love some feedback

A recent leaked document revealed by the BBC proved that police not only arrested Nika Shakarami for protesting against the regime in 2022, but sexually assaulted her in the back of an unmarked police van, and when she tried to fight back they beat her to death with batons. Then they tossed her dead body under a bridge and the government tried to cover it up by saying she committed suicide by jumping off a building. Iran also funded, trained, and encouraged Hamas to attack Israel on Oct 7, 2023. Iran did this because Saudi Arabia, at the time, was growing closer to establishing diplomatic relations with Israel. This would have brought more peace and stability to the region, but of course this is not in Iran's interest. They don't want peace in the region. They want to create even more chaos and violence. I have love for the Iranian people, and I wish them a brighter future, but the government is the embodiment of evil. I hope the Iranian people continue to fight against their corrupt government. #WomenLifeFreedom #DownwiththeDictator

I’m pretty sure Iran is legally safe for Transpersons. The government even subsidizes transition surgeries according to the last supreme leaders fatwa afaik. The general public though are ignorant unfortunately. According to Islamic customs trans is actually preferred over being Gay/Lesbian. This is all stuff I have heard and may be outdated but hope it helps.

There is no such thing as Jannat, Hell in this world, they are all fake, and nothing but fear and greed, if a person commits a sin, he will be punished for his sin in the world, and if he does good deeds, he will get his reward in the world, if he does not, his family will get it, so Jannat Jahanna. These are all fake and superstitions, and prayers, fasting are nothing but fakes and superstitions, and for 27/28 years I have not done any prayers or fasts, because I know they are all superstitions.
