Ryohei was perfectly casted for the role. Amazing balance between the comedic portrayal of Saeba and the effortless switching to the serious scenes. Not to mention he killed it with the action sequences. Bravo to this very talented actor. Looking forward to (hopefully) a sequel!
fun fact:i dont know if it's a coincidence but ryo saeba that ryohei suzuki plays is bilingual speaking fluent English with Portuguese and Spanish but the fact that ryohei suzuki can almost is fluent in English while ryo saeba is very fluent in english i don't know if it's a coincidence or perfect casting

I have a friend who was a big fan of the tv drama Hana Kimi showed me a video of Suzuki Ryohei speaking in English before. I thought he was gonna fade away like most of the actors of that drama. Really glad he's doing great now
He played the lead role in a historical drama (The Last Samurai) for a year. He was so wonderful that I cried many times! He can do comedy, action and sword fighting. Call him for Star Wars.
You can see Suzuki Ryohei muscle gained version in HK2, but… With his height (186cm), that muscle mass, too heavy to smooth action and he looks like Umibozu than Ryo Saeba.

基本的にいつもの謙虚で誠実で穏やかで品の良い鈴木亮平なんだけど、 2:04 からの「自分が大好きな作品をダメにしてしまうわけにはいかないってプレッシャーがすごかった」の話をしてる時の目付きだけ滅茶苦茶真剣で怖いくらいになってるの、本気さが伺えてグッとくる

I just saw the movie a few days ago, and damn Mr. Suzuki is just perfect as Ryo. Everything from the voice to the mannerisms is spot on.

I'm familiar with his work for more than 17 years not actually following him, but a casual viewer. I never knew he spoke English.

He was born and destined to become Saeba Ryo (The same way Robery Downey Jr was born to become Tony Stark) and they have the same name as RYO. Sasuga!
