After so many years, me and my old friends suddenly can't stop talking about City Hunter. Especially how well the Netflix adaptation is. This have to be the best gift for all City Hunter fans. Thank you very much and please makes sequels and complete the whole story.

as someone who has been a fan of the anime and manga for over a decade, this movie was an absolute gen to watch - starting from the casting choices to the direction, acting and story - everything was BEAUTIFUL AND SO NOSTALGIC i will be patiently waiting for a sequel with the rest of the original ensemble because we definitely need more of them 🫶🏽

This movie was damn near perfect (there were those 2 instances in which sound effects were missing). If they wanted to create THE definitive, live-action City Hunter, then they've succeeded beyond their wildest dreams!

All this time I assumed it was just a fictional place in the manga and animé 😅😂😂😂
It's a real life downtown area in japan
架空の場所どころか、東海道線の湘南新宿ラインで毎日通勤してる人の数、物凄いんですよね…（そして湘南と言えば北条司の元でのアシスタント経験のある井上雅彦のSLAM DUNKの舞台）（湘南周辺は東京のベッドタウンだから新宿への直通の路線がある）
そして今までの実写の映像作品で描かれてきてる新宿は、実は新宿ではなく浜松や名古屋の繁華街で撮影されたものがほとんどで、むしろその意味ではほぼ架空の都市だったりする（今回のシティーハンターでも浜松や名古屋でのロケの映像は使われてる）
新宿はとにかく人通りが多い事と治安の問題から、なかなか撮影の許可が出ないからそんな状況になってるんだけど…
今回は地元の商店街や行政も「シティーハンターの為なら」と協力的で、本当に新宿で撮影された映像が使われていてすごい
獠ちゃんマジで地元新宿の人達に愛されてる
