watching this video is one of those moments that make you just want to go stand on top of a tower, staring into the sunset against a stiff breeze, with your hands clasped behind your back, making passersby wonder what mysteries of the universe you might be contemplating but really your brain just thought it really needed a vacation before it would be ready to formulate a response because it was just a lot and fell well outside the parameters of what life so far had prepared you for.

The two boys are friends with each other and also friends of the Nanowar of Steel

The Bass player, GattoPanceri666 did a podcast (on the Nanowar official UA-cam channel) some days ago talking about the new album, Italian Folk Metal, and the "folk" part
Mostly, it is referred to the Italian "modern folklore", meaning the most iconic things of Italian culture of the last 20-30 years (like old men watching the construction sites, Capitan Findus or the Cedrata Tassoni), but he didn't referred to the musical part
I hope this could be useful, and sorry for my butchered English
Another little trivia, in the Italian song the chorus talks about "Rancid Ass do Mark", a parody of an Italian tuna can brand called As do Mar, and Mark is also a nickname of Marco Arata (thus, the "rivalry" in the video)

WOW... lololol, yeah, it's probably been said before, but they indeed did VERY well with the pronounciation, I mean, there were some points where the Italian accent was more apparent than others, but I basically could follow the lyrics without having to consult the captions at all, so kudos!
Second, wow, Tank, THANK YOU... I'd heard the band name before, but I'd always thought they were like very hardcore metal which isn't really for me (on second thought, I probably conflated them with Manowar or something by accident?) so I never would have checked them out if I hadn't seen multiple reactions from you by now and thought to myself 'well, if Tank's doing multiples, I HAVE to have a listen some time' and I am greatly appreciative, cause I've definitely found a new favourite!
As for the video, it was great, hilarious even, but what I loved most was all the little meta nods to the Kapt'n Iglo original. He's like an animated ... brand ambassador I guess? Who's been part of the marketing campaign for those fish sticks for years and years, and I don't know how well known those spot are outside of Germany, but I remember like a whole series of them, with bits like the fish sticks making the inside of the fridge glow it like was full of pirate gold - like at the start of the video - full on nostalgia feels, lol. That was a great find!

the label is here from austria
and as italy is our southern neighbour with some parts of the northern area speaking native german, its not that far away to make a german song (also the label can help with the writing)

the first track of IFM, titled "L'assedio di Porto Cervo" , besides being an overall awesome song, it tackles a very serious issue in the island of Sardinia. it was quite unexpected.

If you grew up in a Catholic household, Fishstick Friday was something to dread. Fishsticks and tater tots. We'd get in trouble for arranging the plate into unsavory configurations of fishsticks and tater tots.

That's not the first song they sung in German. In 2014, I believe, they released a song called "Schwanzwald", which is a wordplay on Schwarzwald, the German name of the Black Forest in southern Germany.

Again a very cool song. For me as a German, their accent is pretty good and easy to understand. Well done. @TankTheTech you said you dig the German language in music. Maybe you should do a reaction to one of THE most successful german, but also the most controversial, band Böhse Onkelz. I suggest the song "Kirche". Oh, and by the way, and of course a reaction to Witherfall! (This is gonna be my running gag! 🤣)

As a german I musst say its nearly perfect. You hear a little accent here and there but its not enough to matter. Especially when you consider the style of singing they used. The overpronounciation of the R thats common in pirate themed songs. If I would have just heard the song without knowing band nor name I would have thought it could be a Knokator song since thats a german band that sings in this style and is known for their funny texts.

i love that they made a german song about fishsticks... there is something special between germany and italy when it comes to Metal Music :D For Example Vexillum, Italian Band with some collabs with Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian). It somewhow always ends up awesome hehe. To your Question: Their accents are pretty solid! It sounds like germans trying to sing with a slight accent not like italians singing german :)

When the lyrics go faster it's getting hard to understand but for the most part they pronounce their German very well. Despite the subtitle mistake on the 28 wich was mentioned by someone else in a comment before, the only thing I recognized was the Fischboulette, which should have been Fischbulette without the o and the e at the end not silent like in French (nit-picking on a high level here). Actually, Fischfrikadelle is even more common but that's just a regional difference and every German would recognize each version.
You've probably checked out the Italian version too, the lyrics are slightly different in some parts without affecting the overall tone. I would prefer that version to just listen to, somehow it has a more earpleasing flow to me but the video is more fun with the German lyrics.

Usually you dont Understand anyhting if Foreigners try to speak German (especially if Hollywood try to sound German, its soooo bad).
But Nanowar did some good Job and as a Native German you dont really need the translation, even some harder words are very well pronounced like Würzen, Dünsten, Grillst and so on

I think they're definitely doing well. I can listen to the song without reading the lyrics and understand what they're singing in my native language - definitely happened otherwise with other bands/ artists (though I'm not mad or anything - I know German isn't exactly the easiest language to learn), e.g. Hiroyuki Sawano, one of my favourite score/OST composers right now, wrote several songs with German lyrics in them for shows like Attack on Titan - and to this day, I'm not always really completely sure what the singers sing on them ^^'. To be fair, though, they'd probably not understand me either, if I were to sing in Japanese, so.... 😁
By the way, Iglo is a German brand that sells deep- frozen foods, like those fish fingers and Käpt'n Iglo is something like their brand's mascot 😅
