"That language" in the subtitles was Hebrew. The opening lines of the Torah are "Sh'ma Israel, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Ehad". Nanorwar of Steel has modified those, but still wrote the subtitles in Hebrew.

Insanely skilled group of musicians, and over the top hilarious. Their main schtick is parodying different musical styles, rather than specific tunes. "Norwegian Reggaeton" or "Uranus" would both be other ones to check out.
Angus McFife is no longer with Gloryhammer, and is now called Angus McSix. His album from earlier this year, "Angus McSix and the Sword of Power" is wonderfully cheesy and over-the-top fun power metal.

Some Italian references (NoS are from Rome, actually): the movie on TV in the backgound is Trading Places, which is often broadcast on Italian TVs on Christmast time, "Gloria patri furnituribus in nomine IKEA" is latin and roughly means Glory to the father of furnitures, in the name of IKEA, and "falegn-amen" is a joke made of mixing the words "falegname" (carpenter) and amen. These guys are great making word puns. Hope this was helpful, great reaction😄

A few side notes here, Systembolaget is a state-owned store in Sweden and the only place you can buy alcoholic drinks. Both Amon Amarth (Melodic death metal with a heavy influence of the Viking era) and Hammerfall (heavy/power metal) are Swedish metal bands. The guy portraying Odin is Angus McFife (Thomas Winkler) who was formerly in the band Gloryhammer and is now in his own band called Angus McSix.

The gospel choir scene towards the end is a homage to the movie "The Blues Brothers" in which John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd attend a Gospel church sermon and get so caught up in it that they are dancing in the aisles much like this scene.
At the very end when he wakes up from his dream and is presented with the instructions to get building the newly acquired IKEA furniture, on the television set behind him is the classic Christmas movie "Trading Places" with Dan Aykroyd again, yet another homage.

Since you asked, I love this song and I'm glad you received it in suggestions. I could have guessed you'd enjoy it on multiple levels.
Unrelated to this particular song - thank you for taking the time to create your own subtitles. The extra effort is really appreciated. It's so easy to enjoy your videos, however much is in Finnish, when the translation is so clearly about comprehension and not some robotic, one-to-one word substitution thing.

I seem to remember they didn't play the song there (that would need a certain setup), but rather hid their merch in the rooms in the IKEAs and had their fans do treasure hunts for them. Which of course they never told the IKEAs about and so got thrown out at some point.

welcome to the wonderful world of Nanowar of steel, next stop would be , Uranus, , Pasadena 1994, Norwegian reggaeton, And then i noticed she was a gargoyle, and many more !
Just a couple of things they replaced the hebrew " Shema Israel, Adonai eloheinu Adonai ehad" (more or less listen Israel , the Lord is our God , the Lord is one) to "Shema yggdrasil (the cosmic tree) Odinai eloheinu Odinai Ehad (Odin is our God , Odin is One).
and for non italian speaking the FALEGN-AMEN joke , falegname is the italian word for carpenter.

When I first saw the intro to this, I thought it was a really church song... But then I heard "Odin" singing about IKEA.
THE hat really sold me on it was the "church clap" in the bridge. I'm Lutheran and my church doesn't do it, but I have seen enough church choirs on tv to know what it looks and sounds like.
Not bad for an Italian comedy metal band :)
Tonally the backing vocals are similar to "The Gunman" by the German band Orden Ogan, but not as full and expansive.

Nanowar of Steel is awesome, hope you're going to investigate more of them. Ow and Gloryhammer, then go to Alestorm. (Agnus was in Gloryhammer, the keyboard player of Gloryhammer is the singer of Alestorm). All are cheezy, but oh so great fun. Ps former Agnus (they split ways) is a notary as well.
For Nanowar, go to the track with Joachim (yes that one, from Sabaton) next perhaps, Pasadena 1994. Or to Uranus with Michael Starr from Steel Panther (who themselves are shockingly cheezy but fun if you don't mind explicitly sexual lyrics).
And yes Pippi was part of my childhood in the 80-ties

As always, your analysis gives me fresh insights into the song. But it was such a delight to see you enjoying this pastiche of different styles.
If you want to see more of Angus's vocals, there's plenty of great Gloryhammer on UA-cam. He also featured as one of several guest vocalists in a Feuerschwanz cover of Manowar's Warriors of the World.
Among the Gloryhammer videos I've seen, one particular standout was The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee.

Ainakin Laser-Shooting Dinosaur on julkaistu festivaalin virallisella kanavalla.

I have a couple of reaction suggestions. One is of Lucy Thomas from the UK singing Hallelujah. The best cover of that song I have ever heard. She was 14 or 15 when she did this one.
The next is Emma Kok, she is Dutch. Her name is pronounced kinda half way between KOKE and KOOK. She is with Andre RIEU and his orchastra singing in French with Voila. She is just 15, but watch the intro of the original video. Andre explains what all she has been through so this birth. She is only the size of a 7 or 8 year old. So remember those tiny lungs when you hear her sing. There will be something happen at the beginning and so far, only one vocal teacher has noticed it. Both singers are amazing. Lucy also has some covers with her younger sister Martha. One being The Prayer. Plenty to watch with these two singers. Thanks for your time Anna.

No, I have a huge list of songs. I pick the songs mostly by the volume of suggestions, adding some rare gems here and there. ☺️ The original video of "Cemetery Gates" was released in the 90's and I only reacted to it last week, how is that possible? 😳🙈
