Yes i still like it a lot, if you can affort the SDG2000X it is nicer, i also have that one. You can buy the lowest version and than look how to improve it to 120 MHz for free..but usualy this 30 MHz is more then enough
Yes here it is, you also a happy owner i know... hope it was still interesting, btw, after auto/cal the SDG1010 is back and all good.. and seems also a 1050 now... (not sure what happened)...but the LeCroy update did not work, not any firmware works... so seems i am stuck with the SDG1050 now, not bad for a backup unit :))
Nice waveform gen with some really advanced features which you demonstrated extremely well Tony. The waveform copying feature is a really useful add on for any lab, especially if you were trying to recreate an audio fault that only occurred when reproducing a particular audio frequency or tone. A very professional product to add to you Siglent collection.
Hi Henry, Yes that is a great combi, the SDS1104 has the bode plot that my SDS1202 is missing... the results with the SDS1104 will be much batter, thanks!
Nice Tony, have the 1062x and use it a lot. Nice to discover the voice wave:) try the bodeplot as well that is a nice future combine the 1032x and siglent scope!
Nice review. Too bad you don't have a 4 channel Siglent oscillsocope. Those can do bode plots with the Siglent signal generators (even with that old sdg1000/800). Really easy to set up too. That's a really nice feature to visualize frequency response and phase response on filters, amps etc. (it's probably the main reason I chose for a Siglent DSO and signal generator above some other brands) Nice to show some of the software functions; most reviews of testgear don't cover the software.
@@TonyAlbus Interesting. I'm looking forward to the review. But I want to mention that the SDS11(2)04X-E also support bode plot as default (with a Siglent signal generator though). Just mention for other ppl considering this scope. It seems that Siglent has put a lot of functionality into their 4-channel scopes, which is not present in the 2-channel versions. My old SDS1202X-E could not compare with the SDS1104X-E (now 1204X-E), with respect to FFT-functionality, bode plot and some other options in the recent firmware.
Excellent video, how should I add a glitch that appears once every 1,000,000 cycles? I want to test if my equipment can catch transient errors. thank you so much.
The beeps could mean something... i think best to send a email to Siglent or find Tautech on EEVblog. i do not know a bout mgic buttons to push... if there is a reset i know of, its maybe in the menu. but with a black screen that is useless.
@@stevec5000 That problem i have not have yet, try contacting siglent, i know there is something like a restore image, maybe they can provide that to you. i dont have it.
Hi i have not tired playing with that. but it has internal modulation and you can connect an external source. the specifics you can prob find on their website.

I think I'll check around for this one - if you still recommend.

Thanks for the high level demo... The best on the web... ✌
Thank you!
All the toys! That ch1-2 swap would get me every time too. Cheers Bud
Thanks man!
Hello Tony, I use SDS1104X-E together with SDG1032X for Bode-Plot and the results are great! 😀. Thanks for your Review.

Thanks for the review Tony! Did you hookup your SDG1032X to a Spectrum Analyzer? (did I see a Siglent SA next to your Siglent scope? :-) )
Thanks, no i did not... i assume its better..oops.. yes correct, its the SSA3021X-Plus or SSA3032X-Plus as it seems now :)

If considering, go for a SDS1104X-E. It can easily be a full speck 1204X-E via keys on the front panel (no hacking involved).
@@la7yka i will go for 2202... and then upgrate to 350 MHz and more Ms/S and bodeplot :) video will follow in campare to 1202

Hi, thank you, i would not know how to do that.
do u know any other machine,,, that can do this waveform combine,, ch 1 ,, ch 2
This function is prob copied from the bigger more expensive brands. but i only have had this brand myself that can do it.

Siglent is also Chinese.... even if a better class then some really cheap ones...

You talk about Siglent versus Chinese signal generators, but do you realize that Siglent is also Chinese? Just FYI.
