    Another great vlog Terry. The way you interact with the Thai people is fun watch. "Is it bad ice?" lol Your adventures on the back soi's, away from the tourists make for great viewing.     I was like that’s the dude from the beach videos in S. Fla., what the hell is he doing in Bangkok? Going to Thailand is like going to another planet your first time. Nicest people you will find anywhere. Food is fresh as you will find and tasty. Girls are beautiful.

    Instead of asking people do you speak English try "Khun phood pasa Angkrit dai mai?" at least they will understand what you are asking.

    Your amulet is called Luang Por Sothon (as referred to the guys in the China Town episode who took a look at it), which is one of the sacredest Buddha image in Thailand. Good luck. 😊

    Most of the thai don't speak english only some does and they are really curious when you talking to them in english that why they be looking at you 😂

    When you asked someones and they couldn't response. They maybe immigrants and come to work. There are thousands of nonlocal workers in Thailand. So they even cannot speak Thai. Asking Thai owners of any shop or polices are better.

    It is Longan juice (Nam Lamyai) ,Thai style Suki (not like Japanese Sukiyaki), and Fried Chives Cakes (Kanom Guichai) it very famous in Talad Phu area ,enjoy🎉 .

    The pink dumpling, there is a belief in Chinese culture that red and pink color food or goods are to be offered to the Chinese gods. As you can see in Chinese new year, they all use red color items for the ceremony, it means good luck and respect.

    What day and time do they set up the street food. I think it's in the evening. What time do they close up at night. Also there's a wat down the street that has a night market do you know the days and hours. I think it's on the weekend however I don't remember.

    By the way. Lychee is not the same as Logan. Most farangs think they are the same.
    Trying all the funky food in Thailand is bravery. You're doing a great thing . Keep up the good work and continue having fun and great experiences in Thailand.

    The juice was from Longan ( “Lum Yai” in Thai) not Lynched (Thai called Lin-chi). They are different kind of fruits and taste very different. Longan is more sweet almost like caramel kind pf sweet. While Lynchee is sweet with a bit of sour.

    Even though Thai people are very welcome and friendly. Pls don't try much trespassing or close to private area. Some people may hesitated under their smiling.
    Not all people are feeling welcome and it may cause trouble.

    You should carry tissues and water tissues when travel and use google translate if you can’t speak their languages. When you lost, take the motorbike taxi or taxi to bts station, Enjoy your day .

      Great question Ben. I could write a book there's so many reasons. Much of the UA-cam content I watch is in Thailand and Southeast Asia. I've always been fascinated by the culture, the food, the people. You can't get much further away from where I live so there's that exotic draw to it. There's so much divisiveness at home these days. I like the smiles almost everywhere you go. And the scenery is some of the best on the planet. Stay tuned brother

    Barefoot- that juice you had is from a fruit called longhan. It’s similar to the lychee. They grow them down in Homestead along with lychees, but it’s not a lychee. It’s called longhan.

      @@BarefootVlogger i’ve never seen the longhan juice here, but I’ve seen the fruit in Homestead. There are farms that grow them. My friend would buy the longhans in Homestead and ship them up to Chinatown New York for sale. By the way, there’s a big Thai temple in Homestead too.
