Great review mate. Interesting you talk about your 4.4 update As you know I’ve had the same issue on my CF Moto ,I’ve just made contact with a local guy who is about to produce a new map for the CF as China do not seem interested in a re fuel map for the UK. Talking to him seems it will be very similar to yours with facility to re change the map for service and MOT. I will let you k ow how I get on.
After watching your videos we took one out for a ride today. Possible replacement for our Aprilia Tuaregs. Found the weight to be ok, easily manageable to push around and get off the stand. The heated grips and seat were awesome as it was 10 degrees in the UK. Comfortable and easy to ride with that nice torque curve. Would be great to ride down to Catalunya on them, something we have done on the Tuaregs a couple of times. My partner loved the quick shifter, that was optional on the Aprilia's and we never bothered to get some fitted. For the money I think it's definitely worth it. Un Salud de Dorset
@@1couple4bikes Thanks for the comments. I have ridden the Voge today and my old Guzzi, both make me grin in different ways, we expect so much from modern bikes that the E5 regs often appear as a negative when riding but they are across the board now. Good review series, I intend to put a deposit down on a Black Knight in a couple weeks. Quick question... Does the bike run dual fuel injectors one for each cylinder? I see a lambda sensor in each header.
It’s a common thing, I think the manufacturers have to get it through the emissions tests, they run very weak, and then once they get sold they fit a different map🤷🏻♂️ just my opinion
@@oliverosswald the key battery is easy to change, so it’s best to have a spare battery in your tool roll. If you don’t have a spare battery, remove the physical key from your remote key then hold the key near the start button, the bike will start normally like this until you swap out the battery.
Hi Thanks for the comments, I have the 4.4 update with the files on my 4.4 update video. In the description you will find the installation files. In the video I stated the password was 8 seven times . It is actually 8 eight times 88888888. If you follow the instructions it's very easy to install.
Hi - watching your videos as I am also thinking about buying one (in Switzerland). Question: My dealer told me that there is a new version coming out in 2025 with the new emission standard Euro 5 plus and - more important - ABS curves / cornering ABS. Did you hear about that? Do you think it makes sense to wait for the new model? Cheers from Switzerland!
@@ursmerz All 2025 models have to be Euro 5 + compliment in 2025. But it's generally thought it will impact performance. The 2025 model is supposed to have cornering ABS. But the current bike is well planted and safe. Discounts are being offered on all stock Voge bikes in Spain that are currently Euro 5. Unfortunately the 900 DXS out sells demand so none in showrooms. If you can get the current model I would. I think the Euro 5 + models will arrive end of February.
@@motechRevolution Thanks! There are still many DS 900X available in Switzerland - and now they offer good discounts on the 2024 version. As I am not a frequent driver (driving only in good weather conditions) I am just not sure if I should wait for cornering ABS or not... most comments recommend cornering ABS.
I wonder if they'll offer a 17-19 cast wheel version? not really interested in cleaning spoked wheels. Good info on that ecu remap, the Bmw must need the same thing?
I don’t understand why almost every manufacturer goes with 21” font wheel. Perhaps 90% of riders will never go off road on these heavy bikes anyway. And even if they do it is not going to be heavy stuff. 19” is just perfect balance between on and off road use.
@@richardhretczak536 I have to agree somewhat from experience. For a touring bike a 19 inch wheel is great, but for lots of back roads even paved ones that are in bad condition a 19 inch wheel feels every pot hole and dip. A 21 inch sails over the bumps. I don’t think it’s all about going off road. Where I live a lot of roads are really bad, my Super Meteor with its 19 cast wheel nearly rattles my teeth out. Whereas the Voge just sails over them. The spokes serve the same purpose. Lots of manufacturers have both versions the Vstrom comes to mind. Voge have the DS range which is road bias with cast wheels.
Very good video another one time.About the passengers pegs there is a new model in a Chinese web shop, after installation its much easier to put the bike in center stand but personally I don't have any problem putting it to the center stand.
